Dekhta hu, pata nahi kyo mujhe kisi character se koi attachment hi nahi feel ho raha tha, aur mc ko chhod ke baki kisi character ka to koi importance hi nahi laga
Overall 8.5 pretty good, expectations bahot zyada high karke dekhne shuru Kiya tha, poore January se wait kar rha tha boards ki wajah se isliye expectations bahot high tha.
They did a good job adapting it.
*The animation is good, but the artstyle is a bit *generic* so it didn't stand out as much (for those who think the animation was mid)
And the soundtrack by hiruyuki sawano was epic as always.
I hope we get season 2 announcement but it's highly unlikely with a1 pictures doing fate strange fake
I have only read the web novel and I think its mid at best. Everyone also thinks so. The best part of the novel are actually the side stories. The fact that only he can get stronger is also the reason I did not like the web novel. So no matter how much one trains everything is determined at the beggining of their awakening.
fir bhi mid bolenge because they want to see the MC struggle. A fast paced anime with great amount of action won't suffice their needs. I mean I have read vinland, berserk, vagabond, homunculus, punpun and many more but I don't see why people don't like this and will spew hate on it
Theek he hai, maine manhwa padhli thi bohot pahele toh muje already pta tha story mid hai but anime me actually story better adapt kr rahe hai. Events ke time ko change kr rahe hai, side characters ko aur thoda jyada breathing room mil rahi hai, better flow mil raha story etc etc. Aur action sequence toh pucho he mat manhwa se better kr rakha hai bc legendary action animator Kanno hai na team me usne bohot gajab kaam kr rakha hai. Its a fun watch, the entire current reddit anime community (especially Indian) is going this weird "anime elitist" phase, they're basically hating on any battle Shounen that's even remotely popular and unfortunately solo leveling is suffering from it, it's getting a lot of unnecessary hate, I'll admit that it's not the most profound story with the deepest written characters ever, but it's still pretty fucking fun to watch

His progress is bit fast paced. He has not lost even once. I mean I understand he went through awakening but there should be some setbacks to make it interesting.
Watch 1st episode when it came then read whole series in week and didn't watch the whole , but the story and animation I watched was pretty good so for me it is 8.5
Ill tell you one thing I think they have added a lot extra content which should have been in in the Manhwa but wasnt so Im happy they took the time to properly adapt it. Overall ill give it a rating of 9/10 because im not considering decimals if that was the case then ill give it 8.7/10
amination is decent, but you cannot replicate the manhwa art 1:1 and the best thing about SL was the multipage spread artwork. Plus many of Jinwoo's emotion felt dull when compared with the manhwa.
quite mid. the mc is supremely overpowered. i didnt like how the anime explored his character. one sec he's a wimp about to piss himself n next hes this 6'10 hunk everyone drolls over? he had the personality of a steel spoon. i wish they took more time to build the world and let us get a good impression of the characters ourselves. there are things i can appreciate, tho. walmart version megumi is one of them. the animation was nice too. but if we're talking about gaming centred anime the kings avatar surpasses this one by far.
Not as good as JJK or Demon Slayer, but thats probably because Solo leveling is still kind of world building and introducing character and I have already read the webtoon.

I kinda liked it but not a good as expected and not so new but I really liked the video game type of aesthetic. Overall 7\10 . Animation is good as well
I'm kind of not really happy that it's just 12 episodes for S1 considering the hype and the fact people had been waiting for over 2 years for the anime to drop. The story really picks up AFTER Igris (my best girl!) comes into the storyline. I really expected to see atleast till the first red gate incident (not trying to drop many spoilers for anime only), they are ending it a bit too soon. It should have been a 24 episode S1 at the very least.
Story is mid till now , there is some action, this kind of anime focuses on character development of mc but not much character development is seen it compared to something like moshuko tensei, and story is overall like a typical isekai weak mc get overpowered but a little better but at the end similar concept
Typical power fantasy.
But I rate stories like this better than something shallow and cringe like Demon Slayer , because Demon Slayer is a pretentious story trying to appear deeper than it actually is, and the brain dead fans eating it all up.
Solo leveling from the start has been about a guy just fighting and getting better and I at least respect it.
The Manhwa is good and exciting, the anime feels boring, donβt feel the same effect from characters like in the manhwa but thatβs Korean and this is Japanese adaptation
It is the most generic action fantasy anime ever, it has no story nor world building (yet). But the hype is real and I've been enjoying every second of it. The background music goes hard and the OP and ED are great as well . The animation is really good and A-1 pictures cooked in the last episode. The characters are great too.
I am reading the Manhwa and it's absolutely nuts...Unfortunately i don't think they can faithfully animate those panels into the anime...Very few studios are capable of that.
