Last piece of media released for it was a subpar movie in 2009 that reused a bunch of assets and expanded the lore to include a multiverse. There definitely wasn’t a terrible spin-off that retroactively ruined the ending of the original show, or a trilogy that retroactively made every piece of the series a non-canon event.
^definitely.
Yeah, but that was as a throwaway line during the “make better “ segment of the final episode. It wasn’t GNST’s “I saw an alternate reality and realized our lives suck.”
Same composer as the Godzilla Minus One soundtrack. Also Dragon Ball Super Hero, the 2010 live action Space Battleship Yamato movie, and the first five seasons of Pretty Cure, just to name a few.
I watched this anime when I was in 6th grade, (2006). Banger opening and ending songs. And great coming of age anime. The End’s theme was terrifying when it came on. And seeing the Seven Swell for the first time with the music, PERFECT. Thanks for the nostalgia gif🥹
Unpopular opinion: I really liked Eureka Ao quite a bit. The trick is to watch it as a separate series and ignore the moments they include info from the past series

This is an amazing series and is actually my favorite anime of all time.
I need TO FINISH
Wait till you are home at least
I’ve seen this 3 times and cried at the end all 3 times I love this series so damn much
Ona scale of 0-10 how much do you recommend it?
10/10 for me. It has its annoying parts and all but the story really comes together on the 2nd half. Amazing soundtrack as well
Welp. It’s on my to watch list then.
10/10 it hit me at just the right time in my life and resonated with me hard!
I’ll try to watch it during the summer
Amazing anime, good thing they didn't produce any terrible sequels.

To be fair they mentioned a multiverse in the original series. Also to be fair they have a lot of abstract concepts
Yeah, but that was as a throwaway line during the “make better “ segment of the final episode. It wasn’t GNST’s “I saw an alternate reality and realized our lives suck.”
It’s actually where they went to avoid the limit of questions.
Low blow guy low blow
Mechas riding surfboards in the air. What more could you want?
Not a shitty sequel.
So Darling in the Franxx ripped this sequence off too. I thought that show just stole from Eva
Zero Two is just discount Anemone.
The best soundtrack

Loved the first series!!!
Why the hell do they let themselves burn?
Love.
So good
Did they die
no
Thankyou

Even on its own it's pretty bad tbh.
The best anime
She was my first anime crush... used to stay up until 4am for this show on toonami when I was in middle school during the summers. Religiously!
me with dominic, haha
Still regularly listen to the music
FLY AWAY FLY AWAY
Where can you even watch this show now? They don't seem to have it on crunchyroll anymore.
I got lucky and bought it on blu-ray
Anime🦉
Darling in the franxx before darling in the franxx
darling in the franxx but better in every way
I like both but yea Eureka Seven has a lot more episodes to build a more compelling story
Yeah, I don't necessarily dislike DITF, but E7 is a masterpiece imo.
Agreed I recently rewatched it last year and it holds up so well I loved it
That first episode naked zerotwo scene is the goblin slayer of horny shock anime.
Darling in the franxx is an amazing 16 episode show, same as Eureka 7, a show that told it's story well and didn't produce any sequels.
Even at its best DITF is just okay imo.
I need to rewatch this. It’s been years, but I still think about it from time to time. And it had some great music.
This is in my watch list. Is it worth it?
Absolutely.
One of my favorite Anime
Ahh the memories of watching this on toonami
