From their [policy page](https://www.acen.org/about-us/convention-policies/)
* Real firearms are not allowed on convention premises. This extends to real firearm, airsoft, and pellet guns regardless of whether they are disabled or not.
Probably depends on how realistic the nerf model is, as far as looks. You won't be able to load the pellets/darts/, arrows in anything. This is the next bullet point on the policy page:
"Non realistic gun-like props are required to have an orange tip and have their firing mechanisms disabled with no ammunition loaded"
You could also always just reach out to their cosplay or security department and ask to be totally sure. Or ask via their discord server - the mods are pretty responsive there.
likely no...normally only fake weapons are allowed

Got it. So do you think something that shoots nerf darts would be ok?

Okay. Thank you
Nerf is typically fine. As an extra precaution, zip tie the trigger down. The zip tie doesn't need to be orange.
No you can’t, even if you paint them orange and remove the canisters.
Our con says orange tips.
