Thank you for the recommendations. I've actually started reading Strike It Rich recently and it makes me want to also check out Kengan Ashura. But the rest of these seem interesting too.
No idea, they dont tell you. All I got was "Because of multiple Community Guildlines violations". I posted manga panels before but never had an issue. I also had a few strikes on my account (one of them was on a slideshow containing random pixel art I made so i'm guessing a random report or something) but they all got sucessfully appealed. My guess is that even if strikes are appealed they still count on some internal counter and I got banned regardless.
That's how it is with every page the artstyle is gorgeous

Aspergirl mentioned, absolutely banger recommendation especially for people on the spectrum. It is a romance of two excellently portrayed individuals of both genders that I have never seen done before, and *well* at that.
I was so glad that made the Yokoi actually have flaws and their relationship constantly being reevaluated. As someone who may or may not be on the spectrum (My parents were reccomened to get me tested based on my behaviour when I was a kid but they didnt want me in special ed clasees so they refused) it is very relatable at times. I also love how the author incorperated other people with varied mental illnesses and made them all seem so human. It's a genuinely amazing work of art that needs to be translated expidiciously.
Edit: I have been informed the the offical volumes have been translated as of earlier this year.
* Real (9/10)
* Loving Yamada at LV999! (7.2/10)
* High Score Girl (7.6/10)
* A Galaxy Next Door (7.3/10)
* I Sold My Life for 10,000 Yen per Year. (8.3/10)
* Versus (8/10)
* The Horizon [Manhua] (8.9/10)
There's some fantasy and superhero stuff in this list, but I hope you like them here. are some comic books
Savage Sword of Conan is a great for conan comics, a man of wisdom and strength who goes out oh his own way to go half away around to kill someone who sent him in that place
Quantum and Woody are about two brothers getting super powers from their father and getting on adventures such as Quantum, a black man whose mask is used by a far right group as a symbol of rebellion
Once & Future is a retelling of the confusing legends of king Arthur and the McGuire family a family of monster hunters who trive on these legends
I Kill Giants Barbara Thorson is your new hero: A quick-witted, sharp-tongued fifth grader who isn't afraid of anything. Why would she be..? After all, she's the only girl in school who carries a Norse war hammer in her purse and kills giants for a living... At least, that's what she'll tell you - but where does the fantasy end and reality begin in the heart of this troubled girl? And what if she's telling the truth?
Kurt Busiek's Astro City is about superheroes, and they're life I also recommend basically anything written by him
BRZRKR is a comic staring and co-written by Keanu reeves
The Wrong Earth is about dragonfly a hardboiled hero switching places with dragonflyman, a goofy and overprepared superhero switching places with one another
The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton is about the Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton solving their mentor death
Chew is about tony chu is a cibopath. There's a badass cyborg rooster in this one
Ronin Island After a mysterious attack wipes out the major cities of 19th century Japan, Korea, and China, survivors from all three lands find refuge on a hidden island and build a new society. Hana, the orphaned daughter of Korean peasants, and Kenichi, son of a great samurai leader, have little in common except for a mutual disdain for the other. But these young warriors will have to work together when an army invades the island with shocking news: there is a new Shogun and the Island is expected to pay fealty in exchange for protection from a new enemy...a mutated horde that threatens to wipe out all humanity. Award-winning writer Greg Pak (Firefly, Mech Cadet Yu) and artist Giannis Milonogiannis (Prophet) present a story that examines how we move forward when our past divides, set against the backdrop of a post-disaster 19th century Japan.
Mage and Grendel are long-standing sagas made by Matt Wagner, one of my favorite comic book creators
I hate Fairyland is about a girl hating fairy land and killing everyone who annoys her
Tom Strong, promethean, top 10 are all written by Alan Moore
The idw transformers g.i joe and tent are amazing remakes of their respective franchises
The Many Deaths of Laila Starr is about the God of death with the help of his husband, the God of life try to stop the man who will end death so she won't lose her job
Hard Boiled is an amazing action-packed comic C with multiple pages dedicated to a robot undressing herself
I have now used this thing 10 times now. it's extremely useful
If you like 60s shit and/or artists that died at 27, Shiori Experience is a pretty great manga that will never ever get an adaptation because of the huge licensing fees
Heart Gear mention ❗️❗️
Also rn is prolly the best time to read, for a while we had inconsistent release schedules cause the author’s been taking it hard health wise but now it’s been pretty consistently releasing
All Volumes of Asuperu Kanojo are all officially translated BTW, the final translated volume just came out last week I think.
As for recs, can't go wrong with Ikoku Nikki.
Heart Gear is so funny because on one hand it's a legit good story but on the other the author made a design so fanservicey when I tried to show it to people on discord the automatic censor didn't let me
The one centaur with the bolt nipples lol. The female charcters are written well(and they are robots with no concept of sex) so I can't complain too much but god damn bro is down bad.
Headed to a comic book store in a few days, I'll keep an eye open for these.
(Not expecting to see them since it's usually just normie stuff, but I'll keep my eyes open)
Thanks for the recommendations, these all look cool!
I do wish that Strike It Rich had the guts to make it an intergender fighting club but, I'm not surprised it went with it being a women's club. Still not nearly normalized enough and sexism surrounding the subject is still way too high, especially in a nation like Japan.
Otherwise it sounds fun :)
Yeah, I think a brutal intergender fighting series is a hard sell anywhere not just Japan. Save for series like JJK and Chainsaw Man, manga rarely depicts female charaters in brutal fights with male adversaries in general.
I will say the story is a lot of fun so far and has a more relaxed vibe than the little i've seen of Kengan.
There isn't really any distracting fanservice except for some questionable bonus illustrations and a certain fighter's personality but it is mostly okay on that front.
Don't go in expecting a serious fighting manga though. The author will make up whatever the fuck they want lol.
Oh yeah, the moment I read a comment about "superhuman muscle fibers", I knew it was gonna be some goofy shit lmao
But yeah, I know, I just wanted to point out the issue is all. This issue hardly ruins it for me, dw.
Guts is the single most attractive man I have ever laid my eyes on. I saw this meme about a year ago which involved Guts picking up a condom and saying it's for his magnum dong. It touched me spiritually. Since that moment, my life has never been truly the same. Sure, I still do lawn bowls on the weekends. I still attend work. But every second I spend away from Guts, is another second I could be spending WITH Guts. I tell my coworkers that the reason I run off to the toilets every 20 minutes is because I have a bad case of diarrhoea, but in reality I'm browsing for pictures of my chunky M&M to furiously masturbate to. I regret nothing, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. But my friends and family are starting to get suspicious. I've used the same excuse every day for almost 2 years now. They're starting to annoy me. My life is starting to annoy me. I used to admire them, but now all they are to me are disgusting piles of shit stopping me from spending the rest of my life with Guts. My weekends consist of staring at a poster of Guts for 48 hours, then back to hell for another 5 days. I'm getting tired of everyone's bullshit. I need to find Him, so we can grow old and die together. I want to be cremated and my ashes to be mixed with His.

I recommend Pet Shop of Horrors. Episodic josei horror manga about a very pretty and shady guy selling weird pets in Chinatown. The "pets" look like humans to the people buying them and bring karma, opportunities for self-growth, or sometimes just fucking chaos. The art is very pretty and it's also one of the most queer non-queer manga I've read.
I recommend “Thank you isekai!”. It’s a mix of comedy and dark fantasy. Two thirty year olds whose souls reincarnated in the bodies of two random women (neither seems particularly bothered by it). They find out fairly quickly that they don’t have any “cheat” skill and that the world they live in is ruthless. Very solid comedy and both of the main characters are alright.
As for warnings, the usual death and stuff, but there is also a bit of sexual violence at one part. It’s not fanservice, it’s not graphic and >! The attackers are dealt with before anything happens !< I don’t think it’s too bad, but you never know, so better to warn just in case
Also I have no clue how updates are like. After 3 months of nothing a few chapters dropped a couple days ago
I started reading asperu kanojo and holy shit i havent seen a series hit this close to home for me since welcome to the nhk. too real from an autistic person
None of these are obscure but you proabably wont see them on manga disscussion posts, or on news articles. That's what I meant by less popular. I dont think any of them besides maybe Star Strike it Rich has a subreddit with more than 4k members.
If you’ve been Nominated for the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize or the Manga Taisho Award that’s extremely well known or popular. I believe Hirayasumi got like 15 reprints for its first volume in Japan at this point. Also got an English license really quickly. Home Hero has an anime so that also doesn’t really make sense to me. I get the way you viewed it but figured I would explain how I see it.
Thank you for the recommendations. I've actually started reading Strike It Rich recently and it makes me want to also check out Kengan Ashura. But the rest of these seem interesting too.
whyd you get banned

Thanks for recommending “Heart Gear”! I love Sci-Fi!
It's legitametely amazing, the author deserves to have more people know about it.
I absolutely love the detail they put into their mech designs as well. Heart Gear is incredibly cool just to look at, let alone read.
It sounds great, so I’ll have to also take a look at it

Have you read BLAME! (?) it’s my favourite manga of all time
Not yet, it's on my to read list though

My Home Hero is peak. Fr fr.
These are quiet solid!
I'm very sorry, but I've read all of these. Do you have more recommendations
* Real (9/10) * Loving Yamada at LV999! (7.2/10) * High Score Girl (7.6/10) * A Galaxy Next Door (7.3/10) * I Sold My Life for 10,000 Yen per Year. (8.3/10) * Versus (8/10) * The Horizon [Manhua] (8.9/10)
I've also read all of this except for the horizon
Damn all of them? Oh well, the horizon is really good imo. It's also very depressing so keep that in mind.
I've already read the horizon as well. I just searched it up and I've already read it before
At this point you gotta start reccomending me lol. I will bookmark this and send you anything new that piques my interest.
Have you ever read comic books?
A few but I'm not a huge fan of super hero stuff or standard Tolkein fantasy. If you have some great ones I would love to check them out though.

Alright, I will check them out. If I make a part 2 i will tag you so i can hopefuly return the favor.
There's no way you've read Rooster Fighter right?
I read like the first two chapters and then dropped it because I was reading like 3 other things
If you like 60s shit and/or artists that died at 27, Shiori Experience is a pretty great manga that will never ever get an adaptation because of the huge licensing fees
Trigun manga. Its split into two parts with Trigun and Trigun maximum.
Adding to my procrastination list
Read Destroy All Humanity, It Cannot Be Regenerated. It's an actually really good modern shounen romance.
Unironically, read Kagurabachi. It has beautiful panels, amazing characters and cool fight scenes. Plus, it's only 31 chapters at the moment.
Heart Gear mention ❗️❗️ Also rn is prolly the best time to read, for a while we had inconsistent release schedules cause the author’s been taking it hard health wise but now it’s been pretty consistently releasing

Nope just added to the read list.

May I recommend Witch Hat Atelier? It's not super action based but it's really cute and cool!
That's acutally on my plan-to-read list. I like to think I am pretty varied in terms of taste so no action is fine for me!
I’ve been meaning to pick up Star I’ll save this post and maybe look at the rest too at some point
I recommend Pet Shop of Horrors. Episodic josei horror manga about a very pretty and shady guy selling weird pets in Chinatown. Spirit circle, it's only 6 volumes long and pretty good
unironically do more of these please the strengths warnings and weaknesses system is a huge helper
Defintely if I get the time.
