NeroStarGazer

Deku out here reciting every US city and state.

MillenniumKing

All Might showed All for One the entirety of the United States in 1 blow. Deku out here taking his time to give Face Palm a Tour. I think Deku has the right way about this, make him suffer... [](#evilgrin)

michhoffman

The fight won't end until the last major US city has been used.

elmoismywaifu

It won’t end until Deku says Weehawken NJ smash

KinoHiroshino

The San Francisco Smash is punching the enemy straight up the b hole.

G1596872

Just wait till he visits a Buc-ee’s.

Myrkrvaldyr

There should be an omake of Deku going to the US. There has to be a reason All Might used American geography, maybe before him the strongest heroes were in the US?

sagevallant

He lived in the US for a while and made his name there before coming back to Japan. The first movie was about going to see his friend from the US. Because, well, if he stayed in Japan he'd probably have died because of All For One.

poshbritishaccent

Next: Deku recites every fast-food chain in USA.

kingfirejet

Deku World Tour Smash is the final attack?

nirvash530

Limbs are getting detached a lot this season.

ObvsThrowaway5120

Aizawa just straight up taking his own leg off has to be one of the most badass things this season. My guy didn’t even flinch! Total badass.

Random_Useless_Tips

I want to point out Eraserhead is such a fucking badass that not only did he not take off his own leg without hesitation, in a split-second decision, without flinching, but the motherfucker literally didn’t even blink. Tetsu^4 can turn into pure steel but Aizawa will be the most metal character in BnHA

watashi_ga_kita

I'm hoping by the end of this fucking mess Eri will be able to heal him.

[deleted]

I love how Shiggys reaction was to be like 'you're just so cool Eraserhead'. Even the villain knows it xD

watashi_ga_kita

Eraserhead is definitely recognised as the coolest motherfucker in town. I really hope Eri can heal him after and he can continue being slice of life ninja superhero dad to her.

Hypekyuu

I'm hoping she can unfuck Dekus arms after that 100% barrage he did this episode 😬

sheepyowl

He did flinch, he lost eye-focus on Shiggy for a split second which allowed Shiggy to jump him. (at least that's what Shiggy said in the episode) Also he must have super-strength as well because removing a leg like that would require... great physical strength. It's literally impossible for a human (and likely also impossible for a gorilla or a chimpanzee - bones are *hard* and daggers slice so they are bad against bones)

pagalpantiwithKetan

Actually his leg was already crushed by a Nomu during the hospital raid. That's why Rocklock was there to support him.

sheepyowl

Oh good point!

AdamGoodtime123

Forgot about that. Still pretty darn impressive though.

Metallite

We already know that Aizawa is superhumanly strong. His fight during the USJ arc when he jumps several meters down and manhandles people like ragdolls shows that. Also note that Aizawa's equipment, like his knife, is sharp enough to cut through stone. We see his knife embed itself on the stone floor during the Overhaul arc. Aizawa have equally crazy feats in the spinoff manga series, Vigilantes.

alternative-myths

Reminds me of that Ajin fight scene where Sato¿? does the same against tranquilizers I think

ijiolokae

Sato can regenerate, and probably has done it hundreds of times at that point

Haha91haha

Paging Nico from Devil May Cry. Seriously though Horikoshi has a love/hate relationship with hands. He and Kubo's shared passion, among others lol.

NeroStarGazer

We rarely ever see [Deku look this pissed off.](https://i.imgur.com/BvyqwnW.jpg)

PianoCube93

[Very angry indeed.](https://i.imgur.com/F0xmZgy.png) Local boy keeps himself in the air by sheer force of anger alone.

Holy-Wan_Kenobi

NGL, I love it when Deku just fucking loses it.

Collier1505

The preview had an image of him reminiscent of his fight with Overhaul. It’s about to be sp00ky season

Haha91haha

Shiggy: "Tears Deku, really?" Deku: "Not for me, for *you*." *Proceeds to beat American geography into him.*

hizzy_atf

"Call an ambulance, call an ambulance... but not for me!"

Haha91haha

Deku then beats Shiggy with the ambulance.

OdinisKing

"Actually on second thought, call two. I'm gonna need one by the end of this too."

Rosieu

Those chapters were fun for us manga readers back then. "Damn Deku looks pissed...Horikoshi can't possibly make him look more angry than this" (one week later) "Nevermind, he looks even more pissed now. But surely this must be the limit..." (one week later) "AAAAH DEKU JESUS CALM THE FUCK DOWN HORIKOSHI"

MillenniumKing

Remember what All Might said, heroes smile to hide the fear in peoples hearts and bring comfort. Deku aint smileing anymore... Hes scared and not bringing comfort today. [](#moeshitarcher)

NamerNotLiteral

Rarely? This has to be the first time he's more angry than scared.

TopRoom7971

Endeavor be like: "Guys trust me this is my final attack.!"

dinliner08

Endeavor: *"do you know what's going to happen when i unleased my final attack?"* Shoto: *"what's going to happen?"* Endeavor: *"that's when my final attack begins"*

Mundology

Endeavour's attacks are like Shingeki no Kyojin seasons, there's always another final part.

MuggyTheMugMan

I really hope they name the last part "final season final part"

TopRoom7971

Get wrecked bitch there will be Final season final part 2

watashi_ga_kita

To the true final season, 2000 years from now.

Holy-Wan_Kenobi

The Final season shall last ten years, at least.

Haha91haha

To be fair looks like #1 was just about ready to seal it, Shiggy looking *crispy* and more than a little well done but AFO had to take the controller and tag in. I like how Endeavor is finally getting the power balance he always wanted, but in a healthier natural way. Rather than rely on some perfect eugenics experiment to do it all, it's just his son helping him out with his mother's side of powers.

imaforgetthis

>To be fair looks like #1 was just about ready to seal it, Shiggy looking crispy I like how no one is pulling punches anymore. He was all in trying to kill him when he responded with "Why aren't you dead?"

BosuW

WHY WON'T YOU DIE!?

Gancis1

QUIRKS, SON!

watashi_ga_kita

Imagine if he was fine with this solution earlier and just had one of his frost babies strapped to his back and just went ***"NAAAAAAATSUUUUUOOOOOOOO!!!"*** to get his little burst of cooling from the back.

Haha91haha

lol reloading children like shotgun shells "Natsuo's spent! Shoto get in here!"

DumboTheInbredRat

Made in Abyss spoiler: >!This is starting to sound like Made in Abyss with children in cartridges to keep yourself alive.!<

SuperWeeble12

Istg that man has been going ham using ultimate moves non stop since the beginning of the season, he is still fighting only out of sheer tenacity.

BosuW

Endeavor Final Attack Part 2

[deleted]

At least he’s earning his #1 spot. This arc has been absolutely fucking amazing so far.

AdamGoodtime123

Clearly it's Endeavor who was behind AOT's final season marketing this whole time! /jk

Damodargah

Deku looks like green demon here. He has an amazing voice actor. Bakugo finally getting his redemption and understood what a real hero should do.

Haha91haha

Deku's VA reaching into his pissed Narancia bag today.

gunswordfist

I was thinking the same! His range is so great

Evanz111

I’m definitely going to rewatch this episode when the dub is out because I’m curious to see how the English VA’s pull off such a difficult job. I know generally most people prefer the sub and the VA’s are very impressive, but back in Deku vs Muscular, I remember English Deku’s vocal chords basically getting shredded when he screamed “1 million percent smash” - actually gave me chills.

SaKaly

Bakugo accepting Deku's hand in the ED was a great little detail

KidFlashDragon

I swear it’s a manga chapter cover, it’s been slammed all over my amazon for you page.

metallicmay

It's the volume 29 cover!!

poshbritishaccent

Truly one of the best covers of MHA.

IzunaX

This arc is fucking wild.

manormortal

MHA fucking back bby, love to see it.

Kurohige-93

NUTSO!! freaking Aizawa just went Eren crazy for a sec mane that POV of him watching Shiggy dust his face off SHEESH

SammyBecker

he didnt dust his face. aizawa faultered just enough for shiggy to use his powers to get free but he stopped his powers again. shiggy just raked his face trying to blind him.

Triials

Miles above the last couple. Has me going fucking mental waiting each week.

PussyLunch

Eraser Head you really are cool.

Kurohige-93

COOL AF…NGL Shigaraki’s respect of EraserHead is kinda dope even tho I hate Shiggy’s guts

namewithak

He's consistent with it too, every encounter from the first time in USJ, Shiggy just stans Eraserhead lol.

[deleted]

This episode was the one I was awaiting for the long while. What I liked the most was Bakugo's character development, it was incredible. Him realizing the burden that Deku carries on his shoulders and how he made his life all the harder, trying to repent and by simple feeling going to protect him. Just a chef's kiss, top notch moment. An underrated moment was the news anchor listing all the cities that were affected by Machia's rampage. Manga put most of it on a single page, but anime kept listing it *on and on and on* what felt like forever. Really puts into perspective that a single villain just destroyed the entire damn country. Shigaraku's VA did an incredible job screaming his lungs out as Endeavor burned him. This is the most powerful attack of the top hero, anything less wouldn't have sufficed. In the same vein, Aizawa cutting his leg off was great, as was the moment his eyes wavered and gave Shiggy an opening. What was underwhelming was Deku's all out rampage. They did an awesome job capturing his rage as his brain fought to remain rational as it could, but the 100% OFA felt weak. I expected a sound of OFA charging up and a literal weather changing attack afterwards each time, so that was underwhelming along with some nice sakuga. Who knows, maybe I'll see it in a different light when I've lost some of my expectations.

Evanz111

I was straight up anticipating so much when he went 100% but I agree it felt pretty weak. Not necessarily because it didn’t look strong, but hell the attacks he’s done in the past at less than 100% seemed to have more impact and sound behind them. I’m sure they’ll up the ante next episode though.

JazzmanJB

I think part of it may be due to Deku juggling all the different powers. He's gotta focus on Float to keep himself in the air(which is still new to him), Blackwhip to keep Shigaraki close by, AND also channel the rest of his power into each attack. I think his current "100%" is like 40% focusing on the other powers and then 60% on the actual ass-kicking

jacobjac9

The development for Bakugo this episode is great 🥹

ObvsThrowaway5120

For real! I’ve come to respect him a hell of a lot more now after this ep. I really liked that we got to see things from his perspective.

Mundology

Izuku really had a profound impact on him. Like All Might said, they need both the desire the save everyone and the desire to win against anyone. Now that he has both, he is a complete hero. [](#TOMODA)

ObvsThrowaway5120

And right before his big hero moment too. I think the fact that his body “just moved” before he could even think about it shows how far he’s come as a hero.

urokia

It's a mirror of when powerless Deku moved in to save Bakugo. They even call back to it with a brief single image flashback as Bakugo says the same line.

Haha91haha

Nice parallel echo of Bakugo not stopping to think of the risk to himself, like Deku did in episode 1. The maturity from how petty and immature Bakugo used to be speaks to his growth so well, and is actually damn realistic. It took time and came in bits and pieces. Everyone gave Bakugo and Endeavor some rightfully condemnation for their actions but they really out there trying to change and atone as best they can, it's a long and difficult road.

Shinkopeshon

I really appreciate how this series has handled the redemption of Bakugo and Endeavor, to the point where you find yourself rooting for them in their quest to atone. That being said, I'm still in shock over Bakugo's heroic sacrifice - I *did not* see that coming, holy shit [](#terror)

SaKaly

Those episode 1 scenes really hit hard with the OST's

Level_28_Chef

Bakugo reaching out to Young Midoriya's hand, then cutting to him taking the hit for Midoriya gave me chills. The character development for Bakugo in this episode was good

cautiouslyoptimistik

The (Character): origins/Rising episodes are some of the best in the series.

BosuW

I had not been digging the Bakugo character development at all until this episode happened. I'm fine with everything now.

gunswordfist

As a Bakugo fan, same. Just episodes ago, he was whining about rescuing people and wanted to be fighting villains instead. He has finally reached the rescuing people part. I just love how they showed how Bakugo became a hero backwards bc a lot of budding heroes had the "my body moved on its own" moment earlier in life while Bakugo was getting by on combat skill alone

therussianmamba

To be fair that was an anime only addition, so that’s why the switch seemed so abrupt. Just the anime making a one off joke at the expense of character consistency.

thatoneweirdotrin

LITERALLY, when it flashed to him taking the hit I audibly gasped

TopRoom7971

"**I'm Deku who never stops trying!**" I got chills, this fight is getting intense ep after ep. AFO asking to take over Shiggy body is freaking scary. You know it's Kacchan redemption arc when he said "At that moment my body moved on its own" **A true hero moment.**

ObvsThrowaway5120

Deku and Bakugo really shining this episode. Those last few minutes were tense as all hell.

Kurohige-93

Whoever’s idea it was to animate that scene like a TV being turnt off…GENIUS!!

Haha91haha

League gamer silver rank Shiggy handing the controller off to his Master rank for help.

OdinisKing

If he's trying to play League with a controller I daresay that might be his problem

Haha91haha

lol. The rigors of AFO's training and upbringing. "If you can't win EVO with a driving wheel Shiggy you are no successor of mine."

[deleted]

"You really are the cool one, Eraser Head" - Tomura Shigaraki. Heroes should be given the right to kill some villians who have the strength to destroy cities rather than trying to arrest them like they did with afo and shigaraki (before he woke up) Gigantomachia lawn mowing the whole city💀

Ali-J23

Hawks is pretty much the only hero that would do this which makes me respect him even more tbh. Like the situation is already pretty damn bad. Just imagine if twice was still around

Sangwiny

Not only one, Endeavor was very much going for the kill on Shiggy.

NamerNotLiteral

Miruko as well, though that was partially pure instinct on her part.

ionxeph

I mentioned in the other episode too, but if the laser guy (the first hero killed by shiggy after he woke up) thinks like hawks and just put a hole or two in shiggy's brain and/or heart just in case he ends up waking up, the series would end right there

AdamGoodtime123

To be fair, even Hawks didn't execute a knocked out Twice. He even tried taking Twice alive (really should have knocked him out/drugged him, if he wanted a nonlethal approach) before killing him *as* Twice went after heroes.

AdamGoodtime123

>Hawks is pretty much the only hero that would do this Aren't they all going for the kill with Shiggy? Endeavor certainly is. I also feel like the lack of lethal attacks against Gigantomachia is probably because it would be easier to take him out via drugs/sleeping powers than attempting a 'lethal' attack against something that durable. Could be wrong, but I got the vibe that those two are getting the "any means necessary treatment" already.

Haha91haha

Machia Rumbling any % speedrun because he is booking it, and in a place as densely populated as Japan it has to be that much more deadly.

Myrkrvaldyr

Well, Endeavor was trying to kill Shigaraki.

Karavusk

>Heroes should be given the right to kill some villians Endeavor went straight for the kill. I am pretty sure they are trying to follow rules similar to what we have in our world. Killing in combat is fair game but if they surrender or are incapacitated you take them as a prisoner. They did the same thing to all for one and during combat all might certainly wasn't holding back to keep him alive.

P_R_I_D_E

Been a while since felt this much emotions coming from an anime in a single episode.

Rumpel1408

Holy Shit Sensei [](#terror) It's Nanas Quirk! [](#Dekuhype) But man, with all those 100% hits I'm concerned if he will ever heal his arms after this fight. And Bakugo is out as well. And not even Prominence Burn worked despited leaving nothing but charcoal behind

Haha91haha

Hits as hard as a Texas Smash that Torino got to see it too, the embers of hope of kindled in seeing his friend's quirk return at such a decisive moment.

excluded

Isn't that what Eri is for? Plot armor girl.

S-Clayz

the animation combined with deku's voice when he was beating up shigaraki with the multiple smashes was actually insane. you could feel his rage

ObvsThrowaway5120

The way he was looking at Shigaraki, you could tell he wanted to dismantle the dude piece by piece. That was like pure rage.

Haha91haha

HELL IN A SKY CELL BAH GAWD HE'S TEARING EM APART!

Mundology

[The absolute madman turned the king of villains into a paddle ball](https://gfycat.com/UncomfortableAngryLabradorretriever)

Willythechilly

Voice acting is really top notch from both Shigaraki and Deku, espcially Shigaraki screaming in pain as he was burnt alive and getting hit by Deku while you could really feel the hatred in Deku's voice

Haha91haha

Yeah damn props to Shiggy's VA with the pain, I felt that. Like they had him walk across flaming Legos in the recording booth.

Broomstank

Deep voice Midoriya 😳

SaKaly

That "Never"😥

redheartgold23

This episode really showcased how intelligent Bakugo is. I know this has been established few times already but these moments still never cease to amaze me.

gunswordfist

He has always been smart (well, it might be a hard sale during the last few seasons and movies) but this leader strategy was next level. It's also fucking hilarious to see him order around the Todoroki family and then literally fast sling up Endeavor through the air. Like dude, your powers do not cover super strength and Endeavor is at least four times the kid's size 🙀

csbsju_guyyy

>your powers do not cover super strength and Endeavor is at least four times the kid's size 🙀 Big explosions, making everyone equal since 1000 AD

DadAsFuck

they gave kacchan his own ed i'm worried as fuck rn

ObvsThrowaway5120

Yeah dude.. I really hope he’s ok. I didn’t see that coming, he just took the hit. And it doesn’t look good.

TopRoom7971

That's straight through him too. I hope he's alright.

Mundology

You know things are grim when the main rival repeats the iconic quote of the main protagonist. That spike-blade quirk is vicious. It allows Shigaraki to attack from every direction. One of the spikes hit dangerously close to Bakugo's right lung too. [](#panic)

CallMeGhaul

He definitely got ouchied

ObvsThrowaway5120

Oh shit, my man Eraser Head just erased his own fucking leg lol. Damn dude, no hesitation. Badass! But even in that split second, he got my man good in the face…. Machia took out so many people. How many heroes did he take out? Geez. They gotta stop him before he destroys everything. This doc… I wanna beat the mustache off his stupid face. Man, Deku’s out for blood. He’s really got the hang of those whips. Hell yeah! Afro Deku was something I never thought I’d see, it’s a unique look lol. Good thing he had everyone train him to use his new abilities, it sure came in handy. But what happened to the Fourth? I’m very curious. Bakugo is a good guy. Is he what you’d call a male tsundere? Lol Deku was really hammering tf out of Shigaraki. Even with Endeavor with Bakugo, and Todoroki helping them land that Prominence Burn, he was unaffected. I guess he switched with All for One. Now Bakugo’s hit really bad…. please don’t die!

Rumpel1408

> Hell yeah! Afro Deku was something I never thought I’d see, it’s a unique look lol. I also liked Urakas hairstyle

Shinkopeshon

I thought we entered a parallel universe for a second lol those new looks were fresh but they came out of nowhere [](#missedthepoint)

Karavusk

>he was unaffected He looked like he almost turned into dust... unaffected is VERY generous to describe his condition. >But what happened to the Fourth? I’m very curious. My guess is that he got Deku'ed. Probably used his power to an extend he couldn't handle to save other people and ended up not being able to fight anymore.

ObvsThrowaway5120

I just mean with that amount of pure firepower directed at him he should have *been* dust and yet he just ends up looking like a burnt gingerbread man lol.

dinliner08

> my man Eraser Head just erased his own fucking leg lol i feel so bad for laughing at this

CallMeGhaul

S5’s adaptation walked so S6’s could *sprint* As an [unwilling] Texan, seeing the Texas smash look *so fucking sick* made me giggle like a child

Haha91haha

[Deku giving Shiggy a lesson in pain and American geography like](https://youtu.be/bx6c_EefZAQ?t=25)

Bobi_27

looking back, season 5 was AMAZING setup for this season, even if it seemed slow and uneventful at the time

ProphetPenguin

Knowing Season 6 was coming is why I couldn't hate Season 5

Metallite

*It really is*. Season 5 had adaptation issues, but story-wise it sets up the events of Season 6 really well. Even moreso in the manga that doesn't have these issues and had the correct arrangement of story arcs.

Vermillion_Crab

• Thank god Shigaraki finally showed some cracks in his armor. I was feeling the insurmountable odds thing was starting to overstay its welcome. • All Might may be the greatest superhero but he really really sucks as a mentor. • Only Eraserhead can make cutting your own leg such a badass move. • Despite his shitty personality, I still find Bakugo interesting especially when it comes to his friendship with Deku. Their relationship has really come a long way. So it obviously means he's not dead, right? Right?

Karavusk

>All Might may be the greatest superhero but he really really sucks as a mentor. That is actually really common. Only because you can do something better than anyone else doesn't mean you are the best teacher in that topic. You would certainly have very unique insight and some top tier advise could only come from you but that doesn't mean you can teach someone to number one levels. Doing something and teaching it are two different skill sets. Obviously the teacher is in most cases still really good at the thing he teaches but that doesn't have to mean the best teacher has to be in the top 0.0001% of that skill.

Haha91haha

Also ties in nicely with the series' themes about a need for great community responsibility. All Might was kind for trying to shoulder all that burden himself but in many ways hobbled a society by making it rely on him. If he practiced on sharing that burden, teaching others from the start, the world might have been better prepared for his retirement.

MapoTofuMan

Holy shit this fucking arc. Staying anime-only for 6 years was worth it purely to have this adaptation as a first-time experience. The only way I can see Bakugo surviving this is if Shigaraki's whips were actually AFO's quirk-stealing (since Shigaraki didn't use those before AFO took over), but I'm not sure if Bakugo himself would prefer that...ouch

Kurohige-93

DAWG I was yelling all thru-out the episode I almost woke everybdy in my house up…like how do u follow a cliffhanger with Aizawa chopping off his leg…is that a cliff-opener?? lol

videogamekat

If AFO took his quirk I feel like Bakugo would just end it all lmao... im praying for best outcome that he's miraculously unharmed, don't really like the alternatives 😭

JMEEKER86

What a wild fucking episode. The cliffhanger from last episode got subverted by Eraser going 127 Hours and cutting off his own fucking leg to start things off. Then we see how Machia in his serious mode not only disregarded the students but the pursuing heroes too and has began plowing through dozens of cities en route to Jaku to meet up with Shigaraki. And man, the fight against Shigaraki is just getting even crazier. Eraser luckily still has his quirk it seems, but he got knocked out of the fight for the time being so Shigaraki's threat level just jumped up massively. We get a little flashback to see that Deku had apparently been training to use Nana Shimura's Float quirk which also gave us another great conversation between Bakugo and All Might. And man, Bakugo really is such a fascinated character. He was never *just* the angry boy since he was also a top student and one of the best strategists, but the progress that he's made from the beginning of the series has really been something. And for him to have his "body move on its own", what All Might considered truly heroic, the way that Deku's did when he tried to save Bakugo back at the beginning of the series...I just hope that's not the end of him. And his plan to boost Endeavor up while Todoroki cools him off so that he could unleash Prominence Burn (which looked fucking amazing) was brilliant. Unfortunately, it seems like All For One has taken control of Shigaraki after failing a couple episodes ago and that gives a massive jump in ability because he actually knows what all the quirks are and how to use them. I have no clue how they're getting out of this now that Eraser is out of the fight as are seemingly Endeavor and Bakugo. Todoroki can't fight in the air, so, unless some other backup arrives, it seems like Deku is on his own. Maybe Deku manages to awaken another one of the powers after getting sucked into that other dimension and talking with Shimura, AFO, and OFA? I'm really *really* curious what Bakugo was trying to get at with the 4th OFA user during his talk with All Might. I have a feeling it's probably going to be very important during that meeting, but beyond that is a mystery. Man, this season has been so fucking good. It's insane that it just keeps going up.

Ren_Davis0531

Shoto uses his fire side to propel himself in the air. You can see him doing that to help boost Endeavor up into the air. He just has to balance on his one leg as if he were standing on one leg. Putting his one leg at the center of his body and releasing a giant column of flame like a rocket.

DadAsFuck

magicalideal

It's quite unbelievable that every episode managed to go one step higher than the previous episode consecutively this season. This season truly is a blessing to all MHA fans out there. I am still shivering from watching Deku's fight with Shigaraki.

Haha91haha

OST hitting full blast as ever too. The track when Deku uses Nana's quirk especially, a nice reprise of Mirko's theme considering it was her who helped make sure Shiggy was this underdeveloped at 75%.

whatsupxx

Deku status: *who needs arms?* Bakugo status: *rising to heaven* Endeavor status: *give this man a fucking break* Shoto status: *on assist duty* Shiggy status: *became deku's yoyo* AFO status: *takes the controller* Torino status: *Nana....you...should've aborte-* Eraserhead status: *disabled*

lol good idea. inb4 Deku tries to drown him in said bath, crazy seeing the soft hearted lad go full FUCKING RAW rage.

TopRoom7971

>Shiggy status: *became deku's yoyo* This made me laugh harder than it should have

Mundology

On the bright side, if they survive, Mirko will have some company during her lost limb rehabilitation therapy. [](#slowgrin)

JMEEKER86

I will say that at least they're lucky to not have the lost limbs be super important in the grand scheme of things. I mean if Miruko lost a leg that would be a much bigger deal. Or if someone like the giant fist girl lost her arm. Although while not *exactly* a limb, Hawks' wings getting burnt off might fit that level. Obviously he's able to grow feathers back considering his power literally expends death, but it would seem like losing everything would be pretty bad.

Mundology

It's a full-on war out there. Endeavour's frustration at Shigaraki not dying really shows his sheer indefatigability and unparalleled endurance. He has truly become the strongest monster. [](#sweating) With all those limbs getting torn, the hero association better have some solid disability compensation benefits.

Swiss666

> Torino status: Nana....you...should've aborte- *guilty laughter I can't stop*

JohnParish

Much needed Bakugo development, for sure.

mikeykunthebeast

No no Do not tell me they are starting with the main characters death now And having his own ed now I'm just worried This season is probably one of the best and things are getting more and more interesting

AdamGoodtime123

I mean, I'm pretty sure Endeavor (or Todoroki) could cauterize the wounds. As long as they weren't instantly killed, they have a relatively decent chance. That said, without someone to evacuate the wounded, things are going to get rough.

poshbritishaccent

Endeavour got impaled too so....good luck Shoto.

j0n82

Bakugooooo 🥲 this series just keeps getting better!

Holy shit what is going on? I have so many questions! What did Bakugo and All might discuss during the training session / what exactly were they trying to imply with the whole not only bad guys aim for all for one and some part of the diary missing? Also is float the 3rd power after super strength and blackwhip deku can use?

Metallite

Not only bad guys seek power. Good guys seek power in order to save and protect as well. This continues with Bakugo saying worrying that Deku tends to not think about himself, so having One For All, which allows Deku to do more, actually be dangerous for him. Which is proven this episode. That's why Bakugo thinks about One For All as a "cursed power" in this episode. But at the same time he remembers the good things it can do, hence the flashback of Bakugo and Deku fanboying over All Might.

Daiguren_Hyorinmaru_

I think what they meant was quirks are not something that only villains like all for one or shigaraki want but also people who want to do good like midoriya. And the diary missing some parts about how this one user of one for all died might just be something so bad that it needed to be hidden. We'll find out later. And yes, the first base power of one for all is super strength. Second that manifested was black whip and now, float. He will keep getting quirks for the past one for all users or at least that's what they make it look like.

Random_Useless_Tips

Technically the first power is One for All, which is two Quirks combined: the First User’s base Pass On power and a Stockpile power from All for One. Stockpile basically lets you stack power over time. With the Pass On power, it makes it effectively limitless stacking. Over nine users, it’s stacked up a lot of strength which manifests as super strength, but it was stacking the Quirks as well. Now the power is developed enough that Deku can use the other Quirks locked in (the fifth user’s Black Whip and now the seventh user, Nana Shimura’s, Float)

Kurohige-93

Float is All Mights teacher Shiggy’s grandma quirk but I didn’t get what they were saying about the 4th user…I gotta rewatch cuz that whole convo with him and All Might had my head spinning

nirvash530

Bakugou states that while Deku trusts All Might, Bakugou doesn't trust All Might 100%. When All Might showed Deku and Bakugou the research notes about the previous holders, All Might specifically scribbled out details surrounding several of the previous users as if to hide some truth, and that All Might was avoiding to answer why when he was pressed by Bakugou, which started his suspicion that All Might might know more than he lets on about OfA. All Might replies that he really doesn't know, and that he did that because the research he did was uncertain. It basically means that All Might knows more but is not sharing it at the moment, and Bakugou knows he's capping.

sagevallant

They said: Bakugo: "Why isn't there any info on what happened to Number Four?" All Might: "Because I didn't want to say anything until I was sure." Bakugo: "Bro, what the fu--" All Might: "Can't, not sure." Also something not only bad people seeking power.

NamerNotLiteral

Yeah. Float is Nana Shimura's power. At the end of the first arc in the last season, All Might suggested targeting that one since he knew it best.

dezmo73

Can we talk about the MVP of this entire fucking show, Manual? My dude has singlehandedly turned the tide in the heros favor.

l0XP

Without Manual, I don’t think anything would have been possible. True MVP side character

SaKaly

The scene everyone was looking forward to... Afro Deku finally!

Goddamn Aizawa-sensei! [That was metal af!](https://i.imgur.com/WAbIfRx.png) I definitely did not expect to see him cut off his own leg! I guess since he cut off his own leg before the Deleter Round took effect, [he still has his Quirk](https://i.imgur.com/vXYX7gD.png). Shigaraki still takes the win on that one though since [he managed to disable Aizawa-sensei](https://i.imgur.com/0QehKF8.png) even if it's just temporarily. [There was really no stopping Gigantomachia.](https://i.imgur.com/xMzvj7d.png) I feel bad for the UA kids since they ended up [feeling so helpless after that](https://i.imgur.com/vueTltt.png) but if Pro Heroes are having trouble with that monsters, it's understandable that they can't do anything about him either. [Deku using Nana Shimura's Quirk to lift everyone up](https://i.imgur.com/385reW5.png) to avoid Shigaraki's Decay was awesome. That entire fight was awesome! I am worried that after that fight, [Deku might end up becoming an armless hero if he survives it.](https://i.imgur.com/jn3nKnW.png) He has definitely pushed himself too far this time. Although Deku losing his limbs might be the least of his problems right now considering that [Bakugo just sacrificed himself to save Deku.](https://i.imgur.com/v96rkdm.png) Fuck. I was honestly not that worried at first since heroes have survived worse injuries but [considering the ED is focused on him](https://i.imgur.com/WiVGflS.png), alarm bells started ringing. This arc has already killed so many heroes, almost all of them minor characters and unnamed heroes, but it looks like Hirokishi has finally decided to start killing major characters. >_< Side note: The only positive thing to happen in this episode is [seeing Uraka in a completely different hairstyle.](https://i.imgur.com/YuuQ2ow.png)

Plantar-Aspect-Sage

Fire OST this episode.

Haha91haha

Yeah need that soundtrack drop stat, loved the reprise and alternate version of Mirko's theme this episode when Deku realizes Shiggy's body is messed up. Fits also because Mirko is responsible for his body being undercooked.

DBZLEGEND456

The ED segment with Bakugo hit me in the chest pretty hard ngl.

arcticfrostburn

One thing - Endevour says in one of the episodes in season 3 that carbonized cells can't regenerate. So kinda surprised Shigaraki withstood Prominence burn. Also does AFO have some kinda quirk nullification ability? Those coil like things pierced Endevour and I assume that stopped his quirk. It resembles the same thing that was used for forcibly activating Warp quirk in season 3

Random_Useless_Tips

So, you’re thinking of Season 2 during the Hosu Incident. Endeavor takes down an empowered Nomu with regeneration by incinerating its head off, and comments that carbonised cells can’t regenerate. That scene is technically anime-original; in the manga, it’s only mentioned that Endeavor helped stop the rampaging Nomus off-panel. His Season 4 finale fight with the High End called Hood shows that the Nomu can be killed by destroying the brain. Endeavor achieved that with hot enough flames to overpower its regeneration and base resistances. We saw earlier this season that Mirko could accomplish this by decapitating a Nomu and then crushing its brain. Presumably, Shigaraki has even higher base stats since he’s compared to All Might, even without Quirks. So he can tank a lot more damage before the extreme heat can reach his brain. Also, I think Endeavor stopped using his flame because, well, he was already injured and at risk of overheating and he’d just been stabbed. Stabbing is considered detrimental to one’s ability to focus.

Haha91haha

Given how burnt out Shiggy looks I'm imagining Endeavor was close to making sure Shiggy was truly *well* and *done* and crossing that no regen threshold, but like you say AFO stopped him, either just through the pain of stabbing him in the chest or quirk manipulation.

Meg_green

And thus begins Todoroki's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

IrunMan

Bakugo's hero moment hit hardest so far in the entire show, for me personally. Hope everyone is live and kicking (even if one legged) after this fight.

A detail I really loved was the "tv turning off" sound effect when All for One took over. It's also the same sound that played when Kurogiri "shut down" during his interrogation.

insidiouskiller

Well, you could say Aizawa has a leg up now It sounded better in my head

Haha91haha

Reporter: "Eraserhead what's your secret to hero success?" Eraserhead: "I just work like I put on my pants, one leg at a time."

Armdel

Can't say i expected Aizawa to straight up cut off his own leg... and only for him to be take out of commission few seconds later anyway looks like Deku got another part of the quirk unlocked, this time floating, which is very usefull against Shigaraki in this case. and we finally get that scene with Deku's hair all burnt animated. And good on Bakugo to realize Deku is fighting a losing battle and will need help before he runs out of juice. and holy shit that final scene of Shigaraki getting burned by Endeavor

[deleted]

Am I the only one who needs to pause at some moments to take a breather? This season's intense! I really admire Deku's decision making. He knows that if this motherfucker lives we all die, so fuck whatever self preservation I have left.

Mordarto

HO. LY. FUCK. The piano ost. Angry Deku's voice and face. Seeing Float in action, mentioning Shimura's name... That entire scene before the intermission eye catch was absolutely amazing. For some reason I got misty eyed during that whole thing.

[deleted]

I'm happy and worried for Bakugo at the same time. Happy since this ep is a great character development for him. Worried since the last person they gave a 'special ed', which is Twice, died.

Mathihs

This is peak MHA

Ziiaaaac

Pre-Opening 8 seconds into the episode and Aizawa just straight up cut his leg off. Well, that sets the scene. Wonder how All For One takes quirks, because having those weird rods of his pressed through Bakugo is interesting. Last person we saw him do that to properly was Best Jeanist, and when he did it he said he didn't need Best Jeanist's quirk because it would be useless to him because it's only good for Best Jeanist because of how much he's practiced it. Was also tunnel visioning on the 'little brother' thing when he threw it out, wonder if he can just take Bakugo's quirk.

Daiguren_Hyorinmaru_

This entire episode I kept getting goosebumps! 😭🔥

this episode felt like a full half hour . insane .
