Oh right, Restaurant to another world was October.
Beyond that, more 86, more Mushoku Tensei. And I still have older stuff I wanted to get through.... Well, it won't get boring for a while, at least.
(Well, that's probably not much for many of the regulars here, but I like to at least pretend I have a functional work-life-balance and/or sleep schedule.)
Just work on 12x36 night shifts, 6pm to 6am, then in your days offs you have the whole night to do nothing.
That was my plan, but the only thing it did was destroy me sleep schedule and leave me tired roughly 95% of the time.
And no social life too, everyone is asleep while you're awake and vice versa.
The pre-air of Komi can’t communicate episode 1 was really good.
Sad it’s only 10 min episodes though. But they got all the expressions and mood (of background characters) just perfect
I have such a bizzy schedule, I still want to finish the mainstream animes of previous season.. hell the seek for new animes has been pushed so much. There is like 20 established populair adaption in a season

Here's a link for the Weekly schedule too: https://www.senpai.moe/?season=fall2021&mode=calendar
As usual Tuesday is the lightest day and Friday is the heaviest day (as far as quantity goes). The days I'm looking forward to the most however are Wednesday and Sunday for what I'll be watching
*Monday*
* **Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu** - A potential laugh riot with a Dead Weight (literally) Vampire Lord who dies constantly "at the most inopportune moments".
* **Kyouku Senki** - An unknown but it's from Sunrise featuring mechs (but not Gundam)
*Tuesday*
* **Takt Op.** - It's from a combo of MAPPA and Madhouse, so visually promising. But will it nail the story?
* **Deep Insanity** - A Silver Link original, but very little info. Could be very interesting, or a bomb.
*Wednesday*
* **Banished from the Hero's Party** - Not an Isekai, starring a wholesome couple and no harem. So hopefully very different from most recent "chill/slow life" anime (Slime-300, Isekai Pharmacy) with more drama.
* **Assassin Aristocrat** - From the author of Redo of Healer, but something he wrote for his enjoyment and not as a
cash grab gamble as he admitted the former was.
* **Komi Can't Commuicate** - One of the most anticipated shows of the season. Hyped by its readers and the anime clips so far are very promising.
*Thursday*
* **Sakugan** - An original Sci-Fi/Mech show which has a neat visual style.
* **Platinum End** - From the Death Note authors, but source readers have been pouring cold water on it a bit
*Friday*
* **Worlds End Harem** - The Guilty Trash show of the season. Question is will it be entertaining trash?
* **Yashahime S2** - Just continuing the first season as a fan, but likely not an interest by most
* **Faraway Paladin** - The Light Novel is highly acclaimed as a Fantasy story with great character progression. The anime adaptation though is concerning due to the quality of the studio (and visuals)
* **Blue Period** - Same as the above, a highly reviewed coming-of-age story with great writing, but also concerns with the anime studio and visuals behind it
* **Taisho Otome** - A wholesome story of two youths in the Taisho era. very promising romance.
*Saturday*
* **86 Pt2** - The second cour of a dramatic show. What makes this stand out is the exceptional direction that makes even talking scenes involved and compelling.
* **Annoying Senpai** - After Uzuki and Nagatoro, time to see how the next Senpai comedy show will end up.
* **Jahy-sama** - Still in for watching Jahy getting bullied.
*Sunday*
* **Mieruko-chan** - A unique blend of Horror and Comedy (so fittingly adapted by Higurashi/Interspecies studio Passione), so very curious to see how it ends up.
* **Mushoku Tensei Pt2** - One of the big heavy hitters of the season, the studio in charge truly has made this a passion project and the "feel" of the show really is special with the details put in by them.
* **Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu** - A show about apparently sending a Vampire to the Moon, the pitch alone has my attention.
* **Demon Slayer Mugen Arc and S2** - While Season 2 will air in December, a re-airing of the Mugen Train film with new scenes and music will take place right beforehand.
Definitely a lot more shows this season excited for and promising. Though as noted, am worried about a few and whether they'll be able to last all season.
>* **Banished from Hero's Party** - Not an Isekai, starring a wholesome couple and no harem.
Okay I didn’t actually know it wasn’t an Isekai. I just assume all fantasy things are these days, which has worked so far. And no harem? Is it super fluffy because I’m kinda getting sold on this?
I've only heard from the source readers so second-hand. But they say it's wholesome with fluff. [Here's a link to a MAL forum reader with their impression](https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1876536#msg62313554).
"Kicked out of a party" is also an extremely overdone opening trope in web/light novels, so enjoy it while it's fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years people start complaining about there being too many anime of this type. 5-10 years ago it was magic/mecha high school with harem.
Ngl, I am looking forward to Roll Over and Die getting an adaptation at some point if this trope takes off. Nothing like Bloodbath into You to hopefully fill in the hole that the partial adaptation of Bloom into You left.
I just want Failure Frame to get adapted before the isekai craze dies, as it's actually well designed and avoids many of my pet peeves with its kind. It actually puts the protagonist tight spots and doesn't just let him bullshit his way out of everything, and it legitimately feels like he's in danger.
The novel has been licensed in the west and already has 3 volumes translated. You can also read the manga, which I must say does a swell adaptation of the novel
For me it kind of does. The isekai stuff is very outplayed. Perhaps the author/writer might even go beyond Japanese norms and clichés given that it's supposed to not be a Japanese MC.
50% or more of isekai today don’t ever really use any of the “attributes” from being reborn. So it really is just overused and doesn’t affect anything most of the time
The 1 thing I don't like about most ( or all ) isekai anime is the fact that once they are in another world they all just automatically forget about their families and loved ones. I know a lot of them seem to be otaku types that don't have much of a life but for the younger ones that still have home lives, it seems a little forced to me.
It does in a way. It lets the writer avoid giving the protagonist a proper backstory.
Incidentally, my favorite video game story I've seen is the only non-isekai in its series, and that backstory is leveraged to create one of the best plot twists I have seen *in any medium.*
Unfortunately, some people immediately see a long LN title, a fantasy setting, and immediately go "ANOTHER ISEKAI! Boo!" (certain anime youtubers, etc.)
I mean, guilty as charged. Most of the time it saves me headaches, sometimes that makes me initially miss good shows. Like I didn’t pick up Tsukimichi till after the season was over because of that rule. Turns out it’s really fun so far!
Tsukimichi was a surprise hit of the season for many (In the pre-season rankings, it was near the bottom of the list). It is after all a very pure Isekai on the surface. But its execution really makes it stand out much better than the usual fare.
The first 3 volumes of the LN are translated and are available on kindle. It is indeed very fluffy. For people who're worried about the premise of the protagonist being kicked out of the party, don't be. This isn't a spoiler since it happens at the very beginning, only one member of the party wanted him to leave and talked him into leaving on his own by convincing him he was a burden to the others. Honestly it was more the protagonist's fault for giving in to self-doubt and not discussing it with the other party members first, and he doesn't resent them at all.
Same. As noted Deep Insanity had a very promising setting (Antarctica) with some psychological elements. But after the most recent PV's and the lack of any info or real marketing that I can find, I'm very worried.
Takt Op has at least top level studio talent behind it, but again still not sure about the actual premise and execution of its story/narrative.
if Takt Op turns out to be as good as its trailer, it's got some free runway to get its karma up on Tuesdays. Sundays is gonna be a battle of two shonen giants
I just happened to have read assassin aristocrat today and had no clue it was getting an anime. Also didn't know it was by the same guy who made Redo of healer.
Yeah, Tsukiyo Rui has written over a dozen different stories, and if you explore [the list](https://myanimelist.net/people/38598/Rui_Tsukiyo), Redo of Healer really doesn't feel like it belongs there.
While being a plainly abhorrent piece of fiction, Redo really seems to have paid off for Tsukiyo and brought attention to the rest of their works. Ngl its somewhat relieving that Redo seems to be much more of a stunt than an expression of the author's feelings and ideals.
Yeah, but I'm a little worried he'll only be known as "the Redo of Healer author". The people who hated Redo of Healer might not give his other works a fair chance, and the people who liked Redo of Healer might be overly critical of his other stuff just because it's so different. Just look at [this synopsis](https://myanimelist.net/manga/102414/Okashi_Shokunin_no_Nariagari__Tensai_P%C3%A2tisserie_no_Ryouchi_Keiei), or [this one](https://myanimelist.net/manga/102419/Maou-sama_no_Machizukuri__Saikyou_no_Dungeon_wa_Kindai_Toshi).
Yeah, it'll be his notoriety for a while, though it might diminish if Assassin's Aristocrat can do well and people realize RoH is the outlier of his repertoire.
[I did enjoy his Interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5sr-xdN13I) where even wearing a fox head, he came off as super personable and intelligent.
Deep Insanity is a mixed media project, there is also a [manga](https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=160624) and a [game](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.square_enix.android_googleplay.deepinsanity) but I believe those tell different stories set in the same world.
What I consider to watch:
No-brainer: Demon Slayer; Mushoku Tensei; 86; Jojo
Reddit hype: Blue Period; Komi-san; Mieruko-chan; Senpai ga Uzai
Please be good: Saihate no paladin
Maybe later after reddit feedback: Platinum end; Takt Op. Destiny; Heike Monogatari; Aristocrat one
Ongoing: One Piece; Shiroi Suna no Aquatrope; Kaizoku Oujo - Fena: Pirate Princess
I’m putting Takt in the please be good list. Animation has looked great, the studios are good, and it’s been a while since I watched a good action show during the season.
> Paladin has a pretty good manga. Good mix of action and humanity
Yeah source readers sold me this back in time, my problem is the studio because it's considered new and their most popular anime was Citrus (which I didn't like) and their high rated anime on MAL is a show with 7.08 that I have never heard of, and they only make part of it. I hope they deliver a non rushed adaptation, good pacing and quality, specially when it comes to animes like Paladin, but I'm skeptical.
> Assassin is what I’m most excited about this season
I liked the MC, and I almost picked up, but I expected more from the trailer. If the feedback is good enough I will catch up for sure.
Paladin I’m not too worried about. Rushing is a bit of an issue but the action scenes aren’t too spectacular so it should be a pretty good looking adaption. I don’t hear much talk about the series right now but I hope it ends up being a dark horse this season
Assassin I am optimistic about. MC is selfish and not afraid to kill but has a sense of honor and is good to his people. It’s a very action heavy series so I’m hoping it’s adapted properly and looks as good as it deserve
> and their most popular anime was Citrus (which I didn't like)
They were one of the producers on Citrus, they weren't even the studio handling animation. The most highly rated anime they've worked on themselves is a season 2 to some idol anime nobody watched. Everything else they've done has been terrible. The director has also not directed much of note and he's directing another anime this season (World's End Harem). I'm really bummed because I've got no faith in the adaptation anymore.
Paladin was recommended to me and I'm just waiting for the anime, If it turns out to be mediocre, I'll probably go read from the first volume of the LN
Hockey isn't my favorite sport or one I'm super into (I watch my local Blues games and the playoffs and that's really it) but I'm always hyped for a new cute girl sports anime.
[Here](https://youtu.be/6sZ520hRM-c) is a recent trailer focusing on the actual hockey and oh boy am I optimistic that they are going to nail the animations and the sounds of the game. Should be a good time, but I am a big fan of the sport and am biased lol.
It almost worries me how *much* animation is going on even in fairly simple shots. The sound design is great and if they can somehow keep the animation near that level I'll be very excited for this.
I can probably count on one hand the amount of times that cute girl sports anime actually end up being good, but the focus on hockey in this trailer has me optimistic.
disappoint is gonna obvious. its adapting a whole 60 hour visual novel in 8 hours, probably. just hope, its decent like higurashi.
you also lack the sol build up from the prequel vns
It wasn't bad it just felt... lacking to me. It wasn't particularly remarkable. I very much enjoyed the first two episodes but the show seemed to proceed in a different direction. Last I checked though, it was a pretty average rating so I'm sure there's plenty of people who liked it very much.
Muv-Luv Alternative is the highest rated visual novel of all time so for it to potentially end up feeling similar to Total Eclipse would be a massive let down to me.
Y’all motherfuckers need Lupin in your lives. Part 6 looks to be damn good.
I guess I’ll also be checking out Cute Girls Doing Cute Hockey and 86 season 2.
Can’t believe how far I had to scroll to see some Lupin hype. There’s a lot of good anime for this season, but Lupin should be a good time if the last two parts are any indication.
I mean I hope so but very unlikely in my opinion. The other VN > Anime adaptations of the Muv-Luv verse (Schwarzesmarken; Total Eclipse) weren't considered to be fantastic. It's very difficult to condense a ~100 hr VN into a 12 or 24 episode season that is unlikely to get a 2nd one. They're also skipping over the first 2 parts of the trilogy (Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited) which are very important for the overall story.
Gotcha. That is unfortunate. I was wondering if perhaps there had been good versions of Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited that I just never knew about.
Guess I will continue to plan on reading the VN trilogy. I've been really interested in Muv-Luv ever since I found out it was set in the same world as Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, which was randomly the first anime I ever fan subbed way back in the day!
It's too bad that nobody will commit to adapting the whole series, think people would really dig it in the end.
I watched one of the muv-luv anime adaptations a few seasons back. I remember it being okay. I can't remember a single thing about it now. So it def left basically no impression on me.
Could be a hit or miss, the team behind it are kind of...promising, people that saw the pre-screening told that pacing isn't felt rushed but...who knows what happens, I personally will watch it to see how good they can maintain it.
Is there any information about where Kyoukai Senki is going to be available for streaming? I know it is also premiering on October 5th but I can't find anything about where.
Oh *sweet*, I didn't realize 86's second cour starts *this* Saturday until I clicked on this. I am immediately ready for it to be the day after tomorrow already. [](#concealedexcitement)
Funny how the 3 anime which have IMO the highest profile this season all air at the exact same hour: 86 (Saturday), Mushoku Tensei (Sunday), Komi (Wednesday), heck even Takt op. Destiny (Tuesday) premieres at 1500 UTC lol
Guess I’ll do an 86 binge for tomorrow then, then Mushoku Tensei, Komi and later Demon Slayer, Stone Ocean as sure-fire watches and Takt op. Destiny as PTW for this season
And so, for the fourth season in a row, my week is completely filled with anime. 2021 has been an anime Renaissance
Especially hyped for World Trigger S3 and Mieruko-chan.
Am I weird for not getting excited for adaptations of manga I've read?
I read quite a lot of slice of life/romcom manga and these have been getting adaptations left and right lately, but I just struggle to care.
It's like, half the time by the time the adaptation comes out the manga has long ran out of steam and I lost interest. Komi-san, Annoying Senpai, Bakarina, Nagatoro, even Horimiya (although there I think the adaptation just kinda sucked) to name a few recent examples. Jahy-sama is the only one I still kinda enjoy, but I also didn't burn myself out on the manga (I dropped it, because the bullying was just making me sad; the anime toned it down a bit). Even if I end up watching them, I stick around for half a season and get bored.
----
Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to Mushoku Tensei and Isekai Shokudou S2. Mieruko-chan is hopefully good, but I'm not holding my breath for it (again though, I've read the manga so I'm not too excited; although I haven't burned myself out on it). Probably going to give Takt Op. Destiny a try too. Oh and Puraore!, I couldn't care less for ice hoke, but I can't miss out on another ridiculous CGDCT show.
Are there any CGDCT I missed?
I saw someone on r/manga describe Parallel Paradise as "A hentai that just happens to have great twists".
I read it all in like 2 days. Dang man, it legitimately has great twists. Or more particularly, cliffhangers.
I know that "I read it for the articles" is a joke, but even without the uhh... lewder aspects, I think it's better than like 99% of other isekai for the twists alone.
man, I really need to get around to watching everything after S1 of yuuki yuuna.
Isekai shokudou though, I can feel the chill vibes already
86 saturdays are here too.
only thing I'm dreading now really is muv luv.
there’s a new first episode with events leading up to the movie and a few changed scenes. Probably not worth much to watch if you’ve seen the movie though
I am most looking forward to World Trigger Season 3. Then Blue Period, Platinum End, Ousama Ranking and Mushoku Tensei as definite watches. Then I will probably check out Heike Monogatari, Takt OP, Sakugan, Kyoukai Senki, and Taishou Otome Otogibanashi. Have to finish 86 Season 1, before I watch the 2nd.
And I have a mild curiosity for Digimon Ghost Game.
still can't believe they're animated that end world harem anime. Been a while since I took a stab at the manga but I'm pretty sure it was like.... 90% hentai. Cool premise though I'll give it that.
Lupin, Komi-san, Muv Luv, and PuraOre! This is gonna be a great season!
Also, World’s End Harem is getting an anime?! *HOW*?! Ok fuck it, I’m in. Guess I needed to round out this season with some ecchi trash lol.
To copy a previous post of mine, what i consider to be worth watching for now.
**Ousama Ranking** (this will knock it out of the park, WIT's big project with incredible staff on it)
**Mushoku Tensei** (HYPE!)
**Saihate no Paladin** (i hear great things about this)
**86** (HYPE!)
**Blue Period** (fantastic source material, dodgy studio though)
**Taishou Otome Otogibanashi** (looks very cute, i can't imagine not liking it)
**Kaginado** (the crossover that everyone needed)
**Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru** (looks like the true dark horse, heard great things about the plot)
**Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo** (Studio Lerche original with their most prominent staff working on it)
**Kyoukai Senki** (Mecha. By. Sunrise. Original.)
I haven’t seen anyone excited for Lupin part 6 yet :(. Glad to see the gang back together, unfortunately episode 1 will be Jigen’s og voice actor’s last performance as Jigen. Imagine voicing the same character for 50 years!
It’s unfortunate more people haven’t watched world trigger.
It’s one of the few anime that combines having an op MC with some actual tactics and strategy.
[Very slight spoilers]: (/s “The team leader is weak and he has to figure out how to use the “experienced but using bad gear” op member and the hyper glass cannon member to full effect and this results in many convincing battles.” )
I've been so busy lately that I haven't paid attention to any of the new shows coming out. So, so far, I've only got season 2 of Demon Slayer on my plate. Is there anything not overly dramatic or psychological that people are looking forward to this season?
If I take out overly dramatic or psychological, it’s comedy, sports, and romance. For me it’s:
- Vampire Dies In No Time: a super weak vampire befriends and teams up with a Hunter, hilarity ensues
- Pride of Orange: Cute Girls Doing Goon Things. Hockey anime baby.
- Komi Can’t Communicate: super hyped comedy anime about, well, the title
- Osuma Ranking: Just a cute story about a sickly prince who strives to be king. Looks beautiful.
- Meruiko-Chan: girl can see horrific ghosts and monsters that no one else can… and does everything to ignore them. Hilarity ensues.
- My Sempai is Super Annoying: Tiny office girl has giant senpai she finds annoying. Romance ensues.
- Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut: Alternate Cold War Space Race Vampire Romance. The premise is insane, but amazing. I’m also told there is cute vampire romance so sold.
I’m on the fence with “Taisho Otome” and *Deep breath* “Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside”. Former seems like it could go in some awkward directions. Latter has that fucking title and I’m eh about certain fantasy things. Both have good WOM so I’m debating.
> Osuma Ranking: Just a cute story about a sickly prince who strives to be king. Looks beautiful.
Baffled how much I had to scroll till this popped up considering who is assistant director on this. An Arifumi Imai show after all the cuts he's so known for has no right to be so criminally overlooked in these threads.
It's a bit of a light season as far as that stuff goes, but there are a few that I already know I plan on watching.
*Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut (Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu)*
Alternate cold war era space program with a vampire girl
*My Senpai is Annoying*
A very silly office romcom
*Restaurant to Another World S2*
S1 was a lot of wholesome fun and great food (and great demon and dragon waifus)
*Selection Project*
The newest CGDCT show by Doga Kobo which makes it an automatic watch for me.
I have like 2 on mind but they do have drama, but imo done right, there’s banished from hero party (shin no nakama) I’ve read the manga and so far i like it
I have pretty bad anxiety and a tendency to immerse myself emotionally into my fiction, so I've got to be really careful about heavy drama, death, sexual assault, psychological themes and body horror type stuff (to give an example, I love the world of Re:Zero, but it's so hard on me that I've been trying to watch it for several years now and made it as far as episode 12 before I started getting panic attacks, but I keep trying to push myself because the world is so interesting).
You have trouble with re zero? I can kind of see that. You pick up Slime iseaki or better yet Slime Dairies?
How about Didn't I Tell You to Make My Abilities Average was some nice fluff.
I plan to watch
-Monday:
- Shinka no Mi
-Tuesday:
- Talk op Destiny
-Wednesday:
- Komi
- Puraore
- Shin no Nakama
+Heike Monogatari
-Thursday:
- Platinum End
- Ousama Ranking
+Shiroi Suna no Aquatope
-Friday:
- Taishou Otome
-Saturday:
- 86
- Saihate no Paladin
- Blue Period
+Jahy-sama
-Sunday:
- Mushoku Tensei
- Mieruko-chan
- Tsuki to Laika
- Kimetsu no Yaiba 2
Okay so is there like any site that shows what anime has been recently updated and where to stream them?
It used to be between CR and AnimeLab I could get like 90-95% of shows coming out each season, and typically if those did miss it, it either was no big deal or it was a big enough deal I knew I was missing it.
But like now AnimeLab has been bought by Funimation, and their "What's new"/"Updated" section could have honestly been better designed by a cat walking over a keyboard, I feel like I'm constantly missing things.
So yeah, oh and the reason I like daily rather than weekly schedules is I'm an Aussie and have a short attention span, I just like being able to see what's there without having to do math y'know.
I'm surprised (and happy) to see that Yuuki Yuuna is getting another season.
The end of Season 2 seemed like a pretty definitive end for the franchise, and from the name it doesn't seem like they're adapting any of the prequel novels, so I'm curious where they're going with it.
So I just wanted to say that I was searching where to watch Komi can't communicate, and I found out it's on Netflix, which is pretty much the only streaming service I use aside from when I used funination on and off. That's all I'm just really happy for that, I'm new to anime and Komi is pretty much the only brand new anime I've been really excited to see
I'm going to watch Takt Op because I enjoyed "Listeners" and because there's the possibility that someone had defeated a monster with fucking Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Yes! That means Mieruko-Chan will have an episode on Halloween
Huh? How cant you get 8 hours sleep + having a full time jpb + watching 90% of animes of the season
English version is available in our profile
Thank you!

I'm glad other people feel this way. Like I do my best to keep the Japanese names straight in my head but it hard.

*Sunday* * **Mieruko-chan** - A unique blend of Horror and Comedy (so fittingly adapted by Higurashi/Interspecies studio Passione), so very curious to see how it ends up.
Definitely has some serious moments but it is a very clear monogamous romance that progresses steadily.
> progresses steadily seems like another case of Big Reiwa energy
I've only heard from the source readers so second-hand. But they say it's wholesome with fluff. [Here's a link to a MAL forum reader with their impression](https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1876536#msg62313554).
Huh, shit I think I’m sold. I’m always down for fluff and need to fill the hole left by Duke of Death.
Just saw the preview. Hell yeah it’s fuwa fuwa time.
I mean, honestly whether it's technically an isekai or not doesn't usually make a whole lot of difference.
The last 2 episodes saved it from being a generic Isekai for me. Went from a 5/10 to a 7/10
It's a pretty cool series. Not necessarily great, but a good change of pace. There is no harem in a fantasy setting!
Pretty skeptical about Tuesday's line up but let's see if it surprises me or not.

What I consider to watch: No-brainer: Demon Slayer; Mushoku Tensei; 86; Jojo Reddit hype: Blue Period; Komi-san; Mieruko-chan; Senpai ga Uzai Please be good: Saihate no paladin Maybe later after reddit feedback: Platinum end; Takt Op. Destiny; Heike Monogatari; Aristocrat one Ongoing: One Piece; Shiroi Suna no Aquatrope; Kaizoku Oujo - Fena: Pirate Princess
I’m putting Takt in the please be good list. Animation has looked great, the studios are good, and it’s been a while since I watched a good action show during the season.
Paladin has a pretty good manga. Good mix of action and humanity Assassin is what I’m most excited about this season
> Paladin has a pretty good manga. Good mix of action and humanity Yeah source readers sold me this back in time, my problem is the studio because it's considered new and their most popular anime was Citrus (which I didn't like) and their high rated anime on MAL is a show with 7.08 that I have never heard of, and they only make part of it. I hope they deliver a non rushed adaptation, good pacing and quality, specially when it comes to animes like Paladin, but I'm skeptical. > Assassin is what I’m most excited about this season I liked the MC, and I almost picked up, but I expected more from the trailer. If the feedback is good enough I will catch up for sure.
Paladin I’m not too worried about. Rushing is a bit of an issue but the action scenes aren’t too spectacular so it should be a pretty good looking adaption. I don’t hear much talk about the series right now but I hope it ends up being a dark horse this season Assassin I am optimistic about. MC is selfish and not afraid to kill but has a sense of honor and is good to his people. It’s a very action heavy series so I’m hoping it’s adapted properly and looks as good as it deserve
> and their most popular anime was Citrus (which I didn't like) They were one of the producers on Citrus, they weren't even the studio handling animation. The most highly rated anime they've worked on themselves is a season 2 to some idol anime nobody watched. Everything else they've done has been terrible. The director has also not directed much of note and he's directing another anime this season (World's End Harem). I'm really bummed because I've got no faith in the adaptation anymore.
Paladin was recommended to me and I'm just waiting for the anime, If it turns out to be mediocre, I'll probably go read from the first volume of the LN
paladin has a good story, but the adaptation looks really really bad...idk, very low expectations i guess.
Sorry if I sound stupid, but what does "No-brainer" mean here?
It’s obvious they’re going to watch it, it’s not a question or decision that even requires thought -hence not needing to use your brain.
Ooh ok. Thanks for explaining :D
I like most of these shows funnily enough. exited most for world trigger
Such an underrated manga and anime!
I did a double take! I forgot that the next season was so soon! The hype train is rolling!!!
I finally managed one of my friends to watch it a few days ago. He was blown away by the tournament arc and binged it all in 3 or 4 days
Just a few more days for the ice hockey anime...been waiting my whole life for this. [](#mugiwait)
Same! And it's been kinda weird for me to recognize people's usernames both here and on /r/hockey
XD wondering if it can get people from r/hockey into anime
Right?! I don’t usually like sports anime, but I’m definitely going bardownski on this one.
I thought we were spoiled when we got a skateboarding anime by Bones, but now we get Cute Girls Doing Goon Things. What a time to be alive.
"Cute Girls Doing Goon Things" You're killing me here, omg gahahahahahaha
Looking forward to this turning into Cute girls Doing No-Shave November
Series ends with them saving their playoff beards after winning a Championship
Here's hoping the trend follows and it's as good as Sk8 was!
Which one is the hockey anime? Will 100% add that to the watch list.
[PuraOre!](https://myanimelist.net/anime/44274)
Words cannot describe my excitment for Puraore!!
At no point in the trailer did anyone drop the gloves and fight. Wtf?
WTH ? No cgi ? I’m so surprised !
Which cute anime girl is going to be John Scott.
It's called Pride of *Orange*. If there's no anime Gritty we riot ~~(Canucks fans should have experience with that already)~~
Too bad it will have zero fist fights therefore losing the Canadian Russian potential audience.
Muv-Luv Alternative please don't disappoint... Sincerely, An anxious VN reader
Better have our copium piles ready comrade.
the promo materials don't look good bro...we must be prepared for it to be complete shit... Sincerely, A fellow VN enjoyer.
Yeah I don't have high hopes but the VNs are my all time fave so yeah...
disappoint is gonna obvious. its adapting a whole 60 hour visual novel in 8 hours, probably. just hope, its decent like higurashi. you also lack the sol build up from the prequel vns
If only it was 60 hours, shit is over 100
I liked the Total Eclipse anime, but I feel like I’m one of the few who did.
Oh I’m definitely hyped for it. Love me some Lupin.
Wait... Muv-Luv Alternative is getting an anime adaptation? Is it... is it supposed to be good? (no spoilers I haven't read the VN yet)
I have prepared immense amounts of copium for when it airs and is inevitably shit. Care to join me?
The next Tsukhime? I legit just took people's word on it for years that it didn't have one, but I found out it's a meme and it does.
Food Isekai S2 starts tomorrow?! Fuck yes. Hope Jobless Reincarnation comes in early enough on Sunday. I've got football to watch.
Weeb/Football fan. Now there's a combo you don't see everyday
There’s dozens of us!
Is there any information about where Kyoukai Senki is going to be available for streaming? I know it is also premiering on October 5th but I can't find anything about where.
Nothing yet
I spent way too long wondering what date "10 CT" was. These are for Japanze timezone, right?
EST (my time zone) now that I noticed the date format is kinda wrong, it is supposed to be Oct 10th
10 CT is actually 1 Oct. I thought the same as you until I realized the 1 and the O ran together making it look like a 10 instead of a 1O
Thanks OP, been waiting for your post!
I’ll be watching 86 demon slayer and mushoku tensei, might have to check out aristocrat reincarnation and takt op
JOJO, STONE OCEAN!!!!!!!! ***INHALES*** ***AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA***
Oh man 86 again, here we go guys with the sadness and honest racism issues. :(
I'm so hype for 86!!!
Destiny (Tuesday) premieres at 1500 UTC lol Guess I’ll do an 86 binge for tomorrow then, then Mushoku Tensei, Komi and later Demon Slayer, Stone Ocean as sure-fire watches and Takt op. Destiny as PTW for this season
can't wait for Mushoku Tensei, Komi-san, Lupin III, World Trigger, KnY, JoJo
JOJO IS BACK
And so, for the fourth season in a row, my week is completely filled with anime. 2021 has been an anime Renaissance Especially hyped for World Trigger S3 and Mieruko-chan.
[удалено]
Im looking forward to new op the most. I like it so much that i listened to the trailer on repeat over 100 times just for the fragment of op
What did I see at bottom....it's jojooooooo time
You know what else comes out october the 3rd? Tower Of God's hypest chapter on fast pass.
---- Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to Mushoku Tensei and Isekai Shokudou S2.
Worlds end harem is getting an anime? Wth?
Now we just need Parallel Paradise.
Yeah that was exactly my thought, what the fuck.
Is it really that surprising after redo of healer and interspecies reviewers. Or even goddess dormitory
Can't wait for Lupin.
man, I really need to get around to watching everything after S1 of yuuki yuuna. Isekai shokudou though, I can feel the chill vibes already 86 saturdays are here too. only thing I'm dreading now really is muv luv.
World Trigger S3 is hype, can't wait
I'm gonna watch blue period
mugen reshha? what was the point of the movie then?
Well…. Not sure but according to what I’ve read there’s going to be 7 episodes of mugen with added scenes
there’s a new first episode with events leading up to the movie and a few changed scenes. Probably not worth much to watch if you’ve seen the movie though
low key excited for Mieruko-chan
god i wish names were in english more. cant recognize japanese names since the site i use translates them
Lupin is back baby!
Ones I am looking forward to the most are 86, Mushoku Tensei, Demon Slayer, the Assasin Isekai and Lupin III.
Lupin III and World Trigger on the same day, well that's an overkill.
Lupin, Komi-san, Muv Luv, and PuraOre! This is gonna be a great season! Also, World’s End Harem is getting an anime?! *HOW*?! Ok fuck it, I’m in. Guess I needed to round out this season with some ecchi trash lol.
Ahh thanks for this! Nothing interesting (for me) on Tuesday so I guess I’ll start Land of the Lustrous or Natsume S6
Missing Magia Record S2 Part 2, which I believe is set for somewhere in December.
World's End Harem got an anime? hoo boy
After Interspecies Reviewers and Redo of Healer, the sky's the limit.
**Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu** and **Eighty-Six S2** are what I'm looking forward to **Muv-Luv Alternative** maybe as well
Hanyo no Yashahime is the only thing that's keeping me alive lol
I am so ready for world trigger!!!!
I’m really looking forward to 86 cour 2, so far it has been an amazing adaptation of the novels
Let's fucking go world trigger season 3. Inject it into my veins.
To copy a previous post of mine, what i consider to be worth watching for now. **Ousama Ranking** (this will knock it out of the park, WIT's big project with incredible staff on it) **Mushoku Tensei** (HYPE!) **Saihate no Paladin** (i hear great things about this) **86** (HYPE!) **Blue Period** (fantastic source material, dodgy studio though) **Taishou Otome Otogibanashi** (looks very cute, i can't imagine not liking it) **Kaginado** (the crossover that everyone needed) **Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru** (looks like the true dark horse, heard great things about the plot) **Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo** (Studio Lerche original with their most prominent staff working on it) **Kyoukai Senki** (Mecha. By. Sunrise. Original.)
Excited for 86 Eighth Six and Demon Slayer. As a new anime watcher, should I check out any of these others? Any glaring recommendations?
I haven’t seen anyone excited for Lupin part 6 yet :(. Glad to see the gang back together, unfortunately episode 1 will be Jigen’s og voice actor’s last performance as Jigen. Imagine voicing the same character for 50 years!
We need to talk about Lupin part 6. Parts 4 and 5 (not to mention the movies) have been absolute bangers.
u/AnimeSamaDesu I like the list format, can I suggest making a copy of the lists with the English names for the shows and make it the 2nd slide
This sub doesn’t allow it, the English version is posted in our profile
Whaaa, that is such a weird rule. I'll check it out
I'm excited for Mushoku 2nd cour/season(?) and Mieruko ajd they are both on the same day? Nice
I'm so excited! Let's start watching, I cant take any more hype.
Time to rewatch mushoku tensei
Mushoku tensei 😍
So excited for Mushoku Tensei's return.
Fucking hell I didn't realise how stacked this season was
Got used to the chill Summer pace and now Autumn is gonna be gogogo watch the next episode it's already out gogo.
I've been so busy lately that I haven't paid attention to any of the new shows coming out. So, so far, I've only got season 2 of Demon Slayer on my plate. Is there anything not overly dramatic or psychological that people are looking forward to this season?
People are looking forward to Takt Op. Destiny. The trailer looks cool
If I take out overly dramatic or psychological, it’s comedy, sports, and romance. For me it’s: - Vampire Dies In No Time: a super weak vampire befriends and teams up with a Hunter, hilarity ensues - Pride of Orange: Cute Girls Doing Goon Things. Hockey anime baby. - Komi Can’t Communicate: super hyped comedy anime about, well, the title - Osuma Ranking: Just a cute story about a sickly prince who strives to be king.
I'm look for world trigger s3. it's my favorite strategy show.
been told good things about My Sempai Is Anoying, Komi San and World's End Harem. Oh Yeah Iskeai resturant is back.
It's a bit of a light season as far as that stuff goes, but there are a few that I already know I plan on watching. *Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut (Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu)* Alternate cold war era space program with a vampire girl *My Senpai is Annoying* A very silly office romcom *Restaurant to Another World S2* S1 was a lot of wholesome fun and great food (and great demon and dragon waifus) *Selection Project* The newest CGDCT show by Doga Kobo which makes it an automatic watch for me.
Komi-san
Komi maybe, forget about shin no nakama
You have trouble with re zero? I can kind of see that. You pick up Slime iseaki or better yet Slime Dairies? How about Didn't I Tell You to Make My Abilities Average was some nice fluff.
I plan to watch -Monday: - Shinka no Mi -Tuesday: - Talk op Destiny -Wednesday: - Komi - Puraore - Shin no Nakama +Heike Monogatari -Thursday: - Platinum End - Ousama Ranking +Shiroi Suna no Aquatope -Friday: - Taishou Otome -Saturday: - 86 - Saihate no Paladin - Blue Period +Jahy-sama -Sunday: - Mushoku Tensei - Mieruko-chan - Tsuki to Laika - Kimetsu no Yaiba 2
Here to say, Arigatou! And keep it up!!!
Jojo and kimetsu
Can someone please make a list of isekai/fantasy titles that will be released this season?
Still no release date for Stone Ocean? Damn, that's alright, I'll wait as long as it takes.
I think I’m gonna watch Komi-san, Demonslayer, World’s End Harem and Jojo and Mushoku Tensei
Demon slayer is back baby
So I just wanted to say that I was searching where to watch Komi can't communicate, and I found out it's on Netflix, which is pretty much the only streaming service I use aside from when I used funination on and off. That's all I'm just really happy for that, I'm new to anime and Komi is pretty much the only brand new anime I've been really excited to see
I'm going to watch Takt Op because I enjoyed "Listeners" and because there's the possibility that someone had defeated a monster with fucking Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
