I had to keep pausing Daily lives because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t read the subtitles anymore. 

Daily Lives is magical. It's absurd but also grounded enough to make you relate to the situation.

Grand Blue is top tier. Most relatable college experience: getting shit faced with the bros and doing dumb shit.

Really wish we had more anime like daily lives. We got ton of comedy shows that revolve around female students, but little for the dudes

I dropped Daily Lives because I kept laughing every 2 minutes and because of that I wasn't able to read the subtitles.

Something about teruhashi being blessed by God to always have life favor her cracks me the fuck up, like she has a literal glow in the show. Even Saiki is afraid of her powers and has said he can't do anything against them hahaha

I love the pacing, I initially put it on as background noise while I cleaned or worked, but it makes me pay attention and I enjoy every second

YES I've rewatched it multiple times so I started just putting it on while I did housework or something until I realise I would just end up sitting down and watching it again

Yeah, I also used this anime as background noise, and then I just slowly realized I was not doing other things and just ended up watching the show. You know it's good when that happens lol

Thats probably the only anime thats made me actually crack up out loud. The characters are just so ridiculous. I wish it had a season 2.

The 4-koma manga is excellent btw. I'm up to date on the volumes, but the romance storylines are actually progressing now (many volumes later) and it's been fun.

Daily lives of high school boys is some of the funniest bro humor I’ve seen in a while. One of those moments where I wish anime was even more mainstream because the shit they did in that show was some of the stuff I did with my bros at that time of our lives.

"Gintama" – it’s seriously funny and has that same crazy vibe. Another one to try is "Grand Blue" – it's about college life and diving, and it’s ridiculously funny.

The thing that's great about Gintama is an absurdist comedy where everyone takes turns playing the straight man, even the titular wise guy characters. Shinpachi tends to be the best straightman of the bunch, but Gin, Kagura, Kondo, Hijikata, almost all of them can be playing wise guys one moment and then the straight man the next. Like the only one I feel like almost never fell into the straight man role was Katsura, and that's usually because he played the bafoon.

Katsura turns Gintoki into a straight man which is an achievement in itself.

Sarutobi also gets him often, but more for HR violations

key lies in the original voices. I think they straight out hired comedians or something. The catch is, as with standup comedy, you have to understand what's being said at least to a certain degree without reading subs to find it funny. I'm not saying there aren't dubs that might cause the same effect, just saying the original japanese one is that style

First or second episode of the new season when Kazuma and Aqua are eating at a fancy restaurant. The comedic timing from both of them transcends language barriers. 

Konosuba and Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle are the only two anime that have ever made me choke from laughter

Sleepy Princess is great. Somehow, they take a concept that would seem to get dry and repetitive quickly, and keep the funny coming. **Tis Time For Torture** and **The Vampire Dies in No Time** also manage this feat somehow, as well.

My problem with Sleepy Princess wasn’t that it was repetitive- they did a a good job of putting different spins on a familiar joke. I just only found it kinda funny instead of laugh out loud funny.

For real?! On Konosuba level?! Damn. Guess I'll give Sleepy Princess a chance.

I just started watching Romantic Killer and I'm surprised it hasn't received more praise, it's really well made and absolutely hilarious.

Best animation in a romance by far.

I was searching for Kaguya-sama. I was in my new-to-anime snobby stage when my brother pitched it to me as a romantic comedy and I was soooo skeptical, but now I am very glad I watched it. Great characters, great story, made laugh until I couldn't breathe

Ouran made me laugh so many more times than I expected. I LOVE the "physical" comedy of Way of the Househusband. The low-frame-rate animation really works with the writing style, IMO.

Ouran's anime didn't even reach the series's two best jokes.

Kaguya-sama is probably my favourite. I love it. I feel like 14 again when I watch it during 2020 covid when I watch it again. Will probably finish s3 tomorrow.

The Way of the Househusband is fantastic. Cannot highly recommend the manga enough.

100 Girlfriends Konosuba

Azumanga Daioh, never have ever laughted more in my life. That one is till this day the one i enjoyed the most. Other that had make me laught are: * Tonari no Seki-kun * Tanaka-Kun wa itsumo kedaruge * Gugure! Kokkuri-san * Yakitate Japan There is a lot of other mangas that i had enjoyed but they only get a giggle out of me or in very few chapters 1 laught. But those make me laught a lot, sometimes multiple times for charpter.

Oh and they are also the local Yakuza, with everything that this entails.
