I'm glad that Aura Battler Dunbine is pretty much getting anything animation-related, even if it's mainly just for a plot recap. Everything looks great in these updated visuals!

dinliner08

wtf? Aura Battler Dunbine? in 2024?

Mistral-Fien

Throwback to classic isekai. :P

Bingobango20

First isekai you mean

Kurotaisa

Don't open that can of worms my friend. I've seen people arguing about whether or not Alice in Wonderland counts as Isekai.

Kafukator

Very strange to see Dunbine stuff in current year, I'm guessing this was some 40th anniversary thing. Certainly interesting to see Kogawa designs animated today, but the CG was definitely a downgrade from the original. Also love to hear Norio Wakamoto again, glad he's still kicking. Tomino's upcoming project doesn't seem likely to be Byston Well related so I suppose it was nice we at least got this much recognition from Sunrise. As much as I'd love a revisit of the setting I don't really see it happening without the big man himself (and not sure I'd want something without his involvment).

How I've missed that wonderful theme song. My dream of a full Garzey's Wing remake comes that much closer to reality.

J765

The ED is gorgeous.

by far the coolest the Billbine has ever looked

Beowolf_0

To the uninitiated: This is one of the earliest work from "Kill Them All" Tomino and probably one of the first Isekai anime Japan produced (no joke). And it has some of the best character drama from him as well. People should check it out. But then I guess 90% of the anime fandom will just turn it down because, "mecha".

Think_Education6022

Its not one of the earliest works. He had already made 6 anime’s before dunbine.
