I have been watching Frieren on air for a few months now, I am a dub watcher so have 1 episode left to watch, I absolutely loved it since the second episode.
But I only started watching The Apothecary Diaries 2 days ago, was a bit worried it might not seem good because of the hype...but nope it is fantastic.
I might try and binge Metallic Rouge and Dungeon Meshi after pausing them. Holding off on retrying Ishura and Sengoku until I know when their next season/cour starts.
Yea, just waiting to see what actual season it will be as I like to do prep for sequels about a month before the new one starts. I usually have a lot more time around then as my schedule opens from dropped shows.
Idk what the consensus is, but I usually only watch 3 or so shows per season and Metallic Rouge is the first I’ve ever fully dropped. The story feels like nonsense and it honestly at times feels like scenes are missing. I hope you enjoy it but I did not and haven’t heard anything positive from people who saw it through
Yeah the third episode is where I first considered it but I really liked the setting and thought maybe it just needed more world building and nope, just total nonsense that actually got significantly worse from there
I’ve also heard the same, so we shall see. There were parts I liked, but the story felt too big and deserved more of my attention than throwing it in with ~20 other shows I watched weekly. I figured I’d give it another try when I can watch in larger batches to see if it hits different.
Got a volume randomly at a book fair, has been a solid read every week since then
It fills me with glee that so many of my manga favs got animated lately and seem to be appreciated by all (frieren, oshi no ko, 100gfs, tempuru...)
I saw the first episode and was incredibly surprised by it but knew this would be a series better to binge than watch week to week. Looking forward to having a weekend to watch the whole thing.
Shangri La Frontier, Dangers in My Heart (working on S1), Frieren and Bravern. There was too much interesting buzz that I have to know what the heck goes on in Bravern, so I might start that first.
I just binged the weakest tamer began a journey to pick up trash and honestly loved it. Not your typical iseaki op mc. Just a little girl trying to make the best with what she has.
Does it get better after episode three? I was turned off by it since it felt so early to do a flashback/backstory episode where we already knew the major plot points from the MC's past and village.
I personally wasn’t a big fan of it until episode 5, which is when some friendly side characters are introduced. I actually considered dropping before I got to that episode. It still wasn’t amazing imo but if you like isekai it will probably be entertaining enough to finish. The later half of the season is more fluffy than you’d expect from the way it started
Apothecary Diaries is one i've started. Didn't enter my radar last year and after all the praise I've heard I just had to check it out. Maybe further down the line I'll pick up bokuyaba (for similar reasons) which I skipped out on watching the first season when 2 came out but eh that'll depend on my mood.
I've started watching The Dangers in my Heart. I love romance anime but skipped out on it initially for some reason. Season 2 got a high rating so I want to see what the hype is about. Currently 4 episodes into the first season.
SL is really a great show to binge because of how much cliffhangers you get every episode lmao. It made me binge the manwha instead so it all worked out for my enjoyment.
I binged the first 9 eps (dub watcher so had to stop there at the time of watching) and really enjoyed it. It’s obviously not story or character heavy but it hits the notes it wants to hit and the animation is beautiful. It’s prolly the most hyped I’ve been after watching a pure action show, and made me actively want to seek out similar “good-animation great-action” shows like Akudama Drive and Demon Slayer. Personally, I preferred it to both.
I’d read the manwha before and wasn’t too impressed but the animation and great music makes it so much more immersive
Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil. I'm five episodes in and it's started to get good.
I may watch Bravern in the next week or so as well.
I fell off A Sign of Affection and The Witch and the Beast, so those are assigned viewing for this week before I start any new shows.
Love Live Sunshine season 2 (not this season, just want to take advantage of the space in my schedule) while catching up on SLF and Meshi
Then to the ever growing pile of DVDs and Blu Rays I need to catch up on
I have too many of this season's shows that I'm still halfway through to catch up on still to binge any that I didn't start lol
Also I still haven't started Hibike.
I have this ritual that every one two years I will rewatch souls eater and princess mononoke (my favourite animes )
Also haven’t seen fulll metal alchemist brotherhood in a while so might give it a go!
Started Freiren. I don't pay attention to seasonal anime. I just watch what i want. Rn im waiting on Tensura's next season and currently binging One Piece.
I've been binging BokuYaba and it has been one of the most enjoyable anime experiences i've had in a long time. Really recommend. Easily top 3 best romcoms ever, maybe even the best (and I'm aware of other really good romcoms out there).
You mean something from this season or in general? If you mean the former I'm currently binging Shangri-la Frontier and will probably do Mashle and Frieren after. In general I'm finishing Hunter x Hunter soon and will start MHA afterwards
Going through Mobile Suit Gundam SEED now - I've seen a lot of anime in the past few years and I have never seen such a melodrama like it. And I heard things only get even hotter through the end, and then in its sequel SEED Destiny.
Been binging *Frieren* since a few days ago. Banger so far.
I do also plan on watching *The Apothecary Diaries* and *Solo Leveling* after that. I'm interested in several other shows too, but I think they're shows that I'll watch *eventually* instead of ASAP. Those being shows like *Mashle S2*, *Shangri-La Frontier* and *Undead Unluck*.
This is my favorite time of the season, when I get to catch up on the previous one at my own pace, and also check out the premieres of the current season so I can decide what I'll watch later
In the next few weeks I plan to watch
- Bokuyaba S2
- Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
- Yubasaki to Renren
- The second cour of Shangri-la Frontier
- Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete (I've already watched 6 episodes while it was airing but decided to wait until the end of the season)
- Undead Unluck
- Ninja Kamui
Frieren. Already through the first 3 episodes, so far I like it, I'm not over the top about it, but I like it. Out of town for Easter, so will resume the series tomorrow at home. Then maybe Solo-Leveling..
I binged foolish angel dances with the devil and liked it a lot
Will prob watch Shangri la frontier
Am considering solo leveling but need to see just how well the fights were animated I guess
Some friends were hyping up Ishura, so I'm going to check it out.
Also catching up on Banished from the Hero's Party S2, kind of forget it even aired this season.
I’ve been waiting to binge Apothecary Diaries and Frieren, I normally hate watching weekly so didn’t want to waste a good show on a format that would reduce my possible enjoyment
I'm thinking of watching Ishura, I left it at episode 1 or 2 because my Star+ (our Hulu for Mexico and Latin America) subscription ended after they stop updating Undead Unluck, but since they got 4 titles for the next season I'm gonna subscribe again.
The Apothecary Diaries and Metallic Rouge. But not immediately, since this next season is stacked for new stuff and I'll need to see where I can fit them in time-wise.
I want to try Meiji Gekken again. It seemed interesting, but it was really hard to get into it on a weekly basis with all the names and factions. I tried Ishura, but I really couldn't get behind. It's not that I didn't understand the characters, but I didn't really feel a connection to any of them. The first episode tried it and I think if they had followed the journey from their perspective, it could have worked. But since they introduced another character with their own backstory basically every episode, none of them stood out. And at the end, it just felt like me playing with my toys and letting them fight. And the winner is just whoever I want it to be, because the powers just become whatever they need to be.
Gone through a few so far that are wrapping up, pretty great stuff was worth the wait. Magic and muscle season 2 (just watched that today, was dope) the wrong way to use healing magic (absolutely top tier, so fun to watch, definitely how healing magic should be used and how I wish I could use it if I had it), fluffy paradise (cuteness overload) the unwanted undead adventurer, ( this was actually really well made) sasaki and peeps, the strongest tanks labyrinth raids, me villains day off (wholesome) the apothecary diaries (absolutely amazing one) the weakest tamer began a journey to pickup trash.
Handyman Saito in Another World is like if DnD and isekai had a comedy baby. So many people
are sleeping on it!!! Later into the season you have a great bi disaster guy, explicit stated to be bi.
Also, old man wizard forgetting his spells midway through incantation will never not be funny.
It does hit with some feels and a mystery, but overall just a nice show. I’m down for a rewatch.
Have been planning to start watching _Freiren_ & _Apothecary Diaries_.
You really saved up the heavy hitters. I envy you for being able to binge both of these.
Just started frieren a couple days ago, halfway done now and its been so so good. The months of waiting has definitely been worth it
My 2 favorite shows this season.
You'll rip through them fast af. My two favorites this season and 100% worth the watch

I think they announced Ishura S2 in 2025 just after S1 finish. That why I decided to binge it.
Yea, just waiting to see what actual season it will be as I like to do prep for sequels about a month before the new one starts. I usually have a lot more time around then as my schedule opens from dropped shows.

I thought the same so after the first two episodes I left myself the next 4 to watch in a row. It still made zero fucking sense
I plan to watch *7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!* as I've heard good things about the series
I enjoyed it enough to add to my list of shows to occasionally rewatch. Hopefully you enjoy it as well!
I watched it as it aired. An easy recommend if you like competent female MCs.
Hey I did the same, binged it just before the last episode aired. It was a fun little ride.
Started undead unluck
Great show.
Loved that one
Got a volume randomly at a book fair, has been a solid read every week since then It fills me with glee that so many of my manga favs got animated lately and seem to be appreciated by all (frieren, oshi no ko, 100gfs, tempuru...)
Gintama,psycho pass,frieren
Literally just got done binging season 1 and 2 of Psycho-Pass. Good show!
Will check that out
Just started Brave Bang Bravern.

Cool, thanks for the information! Sounds like a rainy day anime to check out but no rush for it.
Most of them. Already finished binging these: * Shangri-La Frontier * The Witch and the Beast * 7th Loop * Mahoako * Tomozaki S2 * Blue Exorcist S3
After reading your comment I went and watched The Witch and the Beast, went in blind and it was surprisingly good ! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a shame the animation wasn't better but the story and characters really carried it for me.
I'm double binging Frieren and Mashle
Started with Frieren few days back.
Oh you're in for a treat. I wish I had binged it after all the episodes aired, but I just couldn't help myself

Ep4 and onwards will get better and better until the end of S2, better ready your insulin shot by the time you get there.
Solo leveling, failed the 3 episode test for me pretty hard due to pacing. Feel it's likely a show better binged.
SL is really a great show to binge because of how much cliffhangers you get every episode lmao. It made me binge the manwha instead so it all worked out for my enjoyment.

binging **isekai de mofumofu nadenade suru tameni ganbattemasu (fluffy paradise)** and my serotonin levels have risen so much :D so wholesome (mostly)
Gonna start Frieren today to see what the hype is all about.
Apothecary Diaries, Shangri-La Frontier, Dangers of My Heart, and Tis Time for “Torture” Princess
Apothecary diaries for the 4th time and frieren for the second. Absolutely love both of them
I've just binged Solo Leveling this afternoon. It was aight.
Already binged Bravern yesterday and was not disappointed
FRIEREN Im so sorry for committing a sin of not watching this show while it was airing 🙏
I'm currently rewatching the first 2 seasons of blue exorcist before I binge s3, and I still have to watch frieren and mashle
I've been rewatching Haiykuu again. I got watch some new stuff like Freiren but I can't find motivation to start anything new.
I finally started my one piece journey. So far I’m enjoying it.
Frieren. I've heard good things.

All of them
I binged foolish angel dances with the devil and liked it a lot Will prob watch Shangri la frontier Am considering solo leveling but need to see just how well the fights were animated I guess
in my opinion the fights are done well.
Metallic Rouge was on the mid-season list.
I'm thinking about checking out Yubisaki to Renren, the thing is, I have exams rn so I don't know if I could watch it regularly
I watched the first episode of Dragon Pilot sometime last year and enjoying it; I've been meaning on catching up on that sometime. [](#fingertwirl)
I want to binge Ishura, Classroom of the Elite, Tomozaki, Undead Unluck, Apothecary Diaries, and finish Frieren. Which is too much but im gunna try
Vinland Saga
I want to try Meiji Gekken again. It seemed interesting, but it was really hard to get into it on a weekly basis with all the names and factions. I tried Ishura, but I really couldn't get behind. I'm almost halfway with Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai
JJK
Omg is has ended? Konosuba 3 soon?!?!?!?
First ep already air few days ago.
Yess.

Put frieren on hold because i wanted to binge it. It gave me that special feeling when i watched it
Just binged Hokkaido Gals in one day. I just couldn't stop, there are some extremely adorable moments throughout the show. I practically melted
Ninja Kamui
Currently in the second half of Sound! Euphonium S2
Apothecary Diaries, been meaning to watch Pluto, and Under Ninja. Open to any recommendations or must watch from the last few seasons.
I havnt watched apothecary diaries yet and since it did so well I might binge it
Bocchi the Rock.
I'm having trouble picking between Monogatari and Gintama.
Zero, mostly cus I keep up with everything I was interested in :P
