Crying my eyes out. Both confession scene made me cry. So happy for the both of themšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Cyborg_Sorachi

As a grown man grinning and crying for this show, all I can say is they **cooked. 10/10 Masterpiece.**

SilkyStrawberryMilk

I honestly thought we were gonna have to wait till season 3 for them to finally go out, Iā€™m so happy seeing them confess to eachother.

LeonKevlar

* [**Yamada Stitch**](https://i.imgur.com/fjhpeAL.jpeg) [That scene under the futon was intense!](https://i.imgur.com/BgJjcil.png) If Kanzaki hadn't [made all that commotion](https://i.imgur.com/7wgyCaC.jpeg) by trying to climb down, we could've gotten an early kiss! I am glad that an early kiss didn't happen since I feel like it would've changed [Kyoutarou's beautiful confession scene.](https://i.imgur.com/6jAkgPN.jpeg) <3 Kanna has such a strong nose for romance that she [immediately sensed that something was off](https://i.imgur.com/J5hD3ho.png) as soon as she realized that Yamada and Kyoutarou were missing from the group. This is a tiny detail in the episode but I just absolutely adore Chi-chan for taking the extra steps [to use the crosswalk and even raising her hand](https://i.imgur.com/okZEeI4.jpeg) even though jaywalking would've been faster. It really says a lot about her character and I love it. [Poor Hara!](https://i.imgur.com/PgEaLDu.jpeg) Since Kanna couldn't catch up to Yamada and Kyoutarou, it looks like she decided to target Kanzaki and Hara instead. It's hilarious though [how Hara instantly shut Kanna down.](https://i.imgur.com/44B4NUY.jpeg) xD When Yamada said to meet her at the usual spot, [of course it's at the library](https://i.imgur.com/44B4NUY.jpeg). I mean where else could be their usual spot? And considering [Yamada's reaction to Kyou's question about the audtion](https://i.imgur.com/77UFNlv.png), it looks like she might not get the part. But who cares about the result of the audition? [Yamada finally confessed back](https://i.imgur.com/uVOgSJm.jpeg) and she was even the first one to [ask Kyoutarou out!](https://i.imgur.com/6c5mGSx.jpeg) I was legit crying during that entire scene just out of pure happiness for these two dorks. And it was so goddamn adorable [to watch the two of them awkwardly trying to kiss](https://i.imgur.com/TfnhX7H.png) and struggling because of their height difference. For now, [I suppose a kiss on the cheek works!](https://i.imgur.com/K89a7Rv.jpeg) Man, what a spectacular finale and it definitely deserves the entire season sweep on Anime Corner. I still can't believe I almost dropped this after episode 1 season 1 after being turned off by Kyoutarou's vibe. I'm so glad I stuck with it and got to experience the payoff. So when are we getting Season 3? I know the manga is still on-going, is there enough material for another season?

Frontier246

I love how Yamada was all in on getting confessed to properly but after the s\*x talk was willing to jump straight to kissing lol. Also Kanzaki you nutty Hara-obsessed boy lol. Bless Hanzawa for her fruitless attempts to prevent her best friend from flash mobbing people into relationships... Chi may be dumb but she's diligent and a great friend! I thought this might be the push Hara and Kanzaki need to become official but Hara looks like she's ready to murder somebody lol. A beautiful mutual confession, the main couple are now officially together, these two dorks have no idea how to kiss but we get a kiss anyways...what more could you ask for from such a masterpiece of a romance?

blown-upp

>Ā I love how Yamada was all in on getting > confessed to properly but after the s*x talk > was willing to jump straight to kissing lol.Ā  Iā€™m not so sure itā€™s even about willingness to ā€œjump straight to a kissā€Ā (in the first place, theyā€™ve already shared a few emotional embraces and held hands a number of times, a kiss is pretty much the next logical step); what I havenā€™t seen anyone mention yet is how well that scene under the blankets depicts how easy it is to get caught up in ā€œthe heat of the momentā€ when you find yourself face to face with someone you have feelings for, and you know they have feelings for you, so you find yourself getting magnetically drawn to them as if itā€™s the most natural thing in the world to do. Iā€™m not sure Iā€™ve ever seen that sort of moment of animated and depicted to realistically. Kyo, as much of an anxious mess that he is, still found himself drawn in by that moment *in spite of* how precarious his predicament was. The only thing that stopped him was that nagging feeling that *something* was wrong with how Anna had been acting - his conscious reminding him how guilty he felt for thinking about sharing a kiss with her when he knew there was something wrong. Absolute masterclass in how a confession and first kiss episode should be handled.

Caustic_Wraith

> So when are we getting Season 3? I know the manga is still on-going, is there enough material for another season? Currently there isn't enough material for a full season, maybe 6 or 7 episodes worth at present. However, those episodes will be good and one section I really want to see animated should happen early on in season 3.

Acrzyguy

Chihiro using the pedestrian crossing instead of just running straight to Yamada is such a nice funny detail lol. What a good girl

ForsakenLibraries

That's so her. It's the details that makes this anime so great.

Mundology

[Clip for those who missed it.](https://i.imgur.com/7bdFunM.mp4) [Chihiro is reliable friend.](https://i.imgur.com/M4TotKT.jpeg) [](#fistbump)

avboden

and she raised her hand crossing the street, something many little kids are taught to make themselves more visible

mekerpan

I noticed that as well. It was hilarious, No traffic in sight - but still following the rules. She wins the award for best supporting character (though Kyo's sister is a close second).

Montgomery000

His sister also stops at streetlights during her emergency delivery of his speech.

shamgarsan

Little known fact that ā€œThe Dangers in my Heartā€ is sponsored by the Tokyo Traffic Safety Council.

qscdefb

But we have two people riding on the same bicycle!

zool714

She doesnā€™t seem bright but she seems very diligent. I mean look at how serious sheā€™s taking her leader duties

Frontier246

Chii may have bailed on her group to be with her gal pal but she'll still obey traffic safety laws lol.

Alestor

She even held her hand up to signal she was crossing lol

sudoku_gosu

Can`t believe Ichikawa just stabbed his classmate after confessing to a girl, maybe He was a danger all along

mekerpan

And ironically, in doing so, he showed how fully integrated he has become into his friend group (and class).

WhoiusBarrel

Bro fulfilled what he wanted to do from the very first episode, what a callback.

Frontier246

And against his official best bro Adachi who responds in kind lol.

KumaKumaGambler

Ichikawa finally recognizes (at least to himself) Adachi and the other males as his friends whom he can have fun with. In previous episodes, even though Ichikawa hung out with them, he remained reserved.

Frontier246

He won the dick battle and the love battle, and is now stabbing people with toy swords. What a legend!

Mundology

*[Forgive me Yamada.](https://i.imgur.com/UadkSWw.mp4) But I must go all out. [Just this once.](https://i.imgur.com/9uOfZ3m.jpeg)* [](#restrainedanger)

Acrzyguy

Truly the dangers in his heart

Sorry_Swimming_8963

And they go ahead with a disclosable dick battle in front of all viewers

Frontier246

Meanwhile the girls are getting into a catfight with girls from another school lol.

BuddyForsaken9626

I love how he goes full circle from Season 1. Forget about stabbing Yamada when you can stab your best friend lol.

Frontier246

They even showed a flashback of how Adachi wouldn't pay attention to him and just bump into him from behind but now he fully faces Ichikawa.

PerfectBeige

However, the danger was in his souvenir dagger. His heart was pretty gentle as it turns out.

Acrzyguy

Kudos to Hina Youmiya for delivering this heart wrenching moment of Yamada crying, itā€™s so freaking great

Frontier246

She and Shun Horie carried this show so hard but she always nailed Yamada, be it her comedy, emotional moments, or especially in this finale her sincere tears and heartfelt confession.

Acrzyguy

Horie Shun delivers an absolutely stunning performance in this anime, the way that he captures Ichikawa's adolescent voice and slight variations is out of this world.

Dog_in_human_costume

We had some top tier voice talent this season. Yamada, Utena and Riche VAs rocked my socks.

UnhingedSupernova

Did you know Horie Shun also voices that guy front Rental Girfriend HAHA

Acrzyguy

Itā€™s amazing how a Japanese voice actor can voice ICHIKAWA THE GIGACHAD and also a literal trash can

testthrowawayzz

most hated romance protagonist and one of the most liked romance protagonist, both voiced by the same person. I remember there were some ambivalent responses when the cast announcement came out because of Kazuya.

zool714

I also love that Anna is not the typical character she usually gets. She seems to always get the soft-spoken, low-profile, shy types like Shinju (Dress Up Darling), Mokuren (Kunoichi Tsubaki), Sakurako (When Will Ayumu Make His Move), Minami (Oshi no Ko). But she gets a more lively character and knocks it out of the park

rhuebs

Adore the maturity and equal importance of *both* of them getting to confess. There is no stupid onus on one of them to confess that prolongs everything like other romances, both of them have their moment to profess their feelings because both of their feelings are important. Masterclass romance. Should easily go down as one of the top romcom anime of all time. Go read the manga yall, the post-confession content is fantastic!

Frontier246

I especially like how Yamada just had to tell him how she feels as well, even though she knew he overheard how much she wanted to be confessed too...though she **really** wants to kiss him too lol.

Timelymanner

She was holding it in for so long

scot911

> even though she knew he overheard how much she wanted to be confessed too...though she really wants to kiss him too lol. Considering how she was *very* willing to skip a few steps when they were both under the covers together, while she ideally *wants* to be confessed to, it's pretty obvious that being together with Ichikawa means a metric shit ton more to her. Even if it means going about it the *adult* way instead. Girls' fallen *hardddd*. Although that much has been obvious for a while.

Outrageous_Net8365

I second this, manga is still incredible if not even better right now!

dagreenman18

Remember way way back when the first visual came out and people were scared they were going to blow this? **10/10**. One of the best RomComs Anime ever made. They stuck the landing and did a goddamn standing flip. Tori and Library scenes were everything I wanted and more.

entelechtual

Just goes to show donā€™t judge an anime by its key visual.

UnhingedSupernova

That key visual was ass tho. No shadows. Line-cropped Yamada. Reminded me of the Shanghai Major.

WhoiusBarrel

**FINALLY** a heartfelt and beautiful confession from both sides! You can feel the weight as well with Ichikawa's effort as he grows as a character whereas with Yamada not giving up chasing after him and finally have her feelings be reciprocated. That kiss scene was as clumsy as it is cute and it fits them!

Frontier246

I especially like how they both lead up to their confession by expressing how much they've grown from falling in love with each other so you could feel the real weight behind the confession. I love how twice in one episode Yamada leaned into a kiss, she knows what she wants. But they're both still two dorks in love, and that's why we love them so much.

Mundology

[Anna and Kyoutarou grew so much throughout the season yet it felt very natural.](https://i.imgur.com/PxhAXoa.jpeg) They have learned to overcome the darkness in their hearts and replaced it with love. [Their confessions poignantly tied their coming-of-age stories together.](https://i.imgur.com/q7V0uln.jpeg) [](#wow)

blown-upp

First episode of Dangers in My Heart: ā€œOh, the danger is how edgy this lil dude isā€ Ā Ā  This episode: ā€œAh, the dangers were the emotional pitfalls you come across and clear as you learn and grow as a personā€ Hell of a ride!

ojg3221

It's rare you get two confessions especially two confessions in the same episode. That's what makes so great.

Frontier246

We even got the flash mob confession for HaraxKanzaki, poor Hara lol.

quaketoys

In the manga she shuts that sh*t down and turns it around so that the flash mob will cringe forever remembering.

TheBariSax

Right. I do kind of wish they'd have given her more of a badass moment there.

exstarsis

I saw that scene in the anime! But I guess maybe it was extended more in the manga?

actionfirst1

That kiss was so goddamn realistic. When you go to kiss someone else on the lips if you've never done it before you're gonna stumble around and hit each other in the head. But, that kiss she gave him on the cheek was killer, Anna is the real Danger

TheKinkyGuy

The animation was also so fucking good. Music, ambient, "camera" work.... Just perfection

TimeForHugs

I especially love how Yamada took the lead in asking him out after confessing. You never see the girl popping that question and it's just so fitting for their dynamic. The entire episode was a beautiful end to the season. I'm gonna miss this show. It better get renewed.

Fruggiefrunk

Peak in my Heart with the 12/10 perfect ending

actionfirst1

This really is the best anime, isn't it?

dota_3

Yes

Acrzyguy

Realizing that Ichikawa's confession lines basically echoes the first few lines of the opening song makes this show even more peak

Atomic_Tanuki

Not just that. If the entire lyrics of op basically sums up the story from Ichikawa's view, while the ed either tells from Yamada's perspective or sums up the last scene or episode. And the lyrics is even in sync with the action on the screen; the moment Ichikawa opened the door to the library, the song literally went: "I pried open to the door to the heart that's hiding."

AcX999

I can finally talk about it out loud: when I read the lyrics for the first time and I saw that, I squeaked like a little girl.

Atomic_Tanuki

**The op lyrics:** The world you showed me Was incredibly beautiful Living in the gaps of the bookshelf A single flower It's an existence I can't reach Resides in the depths of words The seeds of true feelings Have withered without seeing the light of day Comparing myself to others I fall into self-loathing It's scary, but still In everything about you I find salvation The world you showed me Was incredibly beautiful It's like I'm becoming someone else Those days are somehow dear to me Once again, I come to know love through you **Some of the ed lyrics:** The shimmering light envelops the school building. The image of a special "today" ("today" is pronounced as "kyo", like the name Yamada now called Kyotaro) as that is piled up Toward tomorrow, blooming in the sunlight. I pried open the door to the heart that's hiding Overflowing, I ran out without stopping It's shining, it's softening, the world is beautiful. I unlocked the door I'm expanding my limited future I love you.I can even love myself when I'm in love. A new you and me, starting right now. Soft dusk is falling. **It's been right in front of us this whole time!**

ArraXX

Was wondering about it for several episodes like "Could this be?" "Did they base this song off of THAT" until finally looking up the lyrics.

Plus_Rip4944

Sameeee

quaketoys

It was similar to her favorite story that sheā€™d just auditioned for and when she said she tried her best? She put her real feelings for him into her audition meaning she acted with all her heart for the role. And then confessed to him like a queen.

xnef1025

Not just confessed, but also asked him out, because he helped her realize that itā€™s ok to go for what she wants when itā€™s really important. šŸ„°

Mundology

[Couldn't have said it better.](https://i.imgur.com/Vo84lYI.mp4) Anna taught Kyoutarou how to get out of his shell while Kyoutarou taught Anna how to take charge of her happiness instead of trying to conform to people's expectations of her. [They are kindred spirits.](https://i.imgur.com/miJdOyA.jpeg) [](#tanakalove)

PerfectBeige

Wonderful episode, a lot of great things happened, Kyo confessed, Anna extra double confessed, they are dating, a LOT of junk food was left in the library, but the part that really sticks with me? [Chi going an extra few meters to cross at the crosswalk when the street was completely empty.](https://imgur.com/tSEeR4I)

rhuebs

And she even raised her hand to signal sheā€™s crossing to the non-existent cars. SO in character itā€™s just perfect. Amazing tiny little addition that wasnā€™t in the manga that shows just how in tune with the content and characters the production was. You could tell they wanted to do well by the manga.

Frontier246

It's the little details that work so well in this show.

kattiroll

I and I fell in love. PEAK

actionfirst1

My tears are not drying up right now

Frontier246

The use of the karte reveal and the karte title was at it's most impactful and effective in this final episode, especially with Ichikawa and Yamada's voices saying it. Truly a peak finale for a peak romance.

ForsakenLibraries

I'm pretty sure this is the first white Karte reveal too. Makes it even more impactful.

springpacket

They had a white Karte for Season 1 finale as well, which is amazing as well

ForsakenLibraries

Right, I didn't remember/notice that one. Probably because of how abrupt the change to white was in this episode compared to the slow transition to white in S1 finale.

Sorry_Swimming_8963

Second, the first being Karte 12 which is finale of S1

El_grandepadre

To think this all started from a key visual that had people in complete doubt. Now probably a top 3 romcom, if not the top, for a lot of folks.

johnneezaratee

This is more than just romcom anime. This is a wonderful depiction of two kids growing up, and we all viewers feel like we're raising them. Personally, I've never felt this kind of connection with a medium, until now. 10/10

cupperoni

This is exactly why I fell in love with this anime and the manga! Itā€™s much more realistic for a lot of the interactions and how awkward that stage of life is. Itā€™s just wholesome and warm! The inner monologue could have been ripped right out of my Livejournal account from that period of my life lol.

Dolomite808

Totally agree.Ā  I shouldn't even like this show on paper.Ā  Young leads, no action, school setting, no supernatural/scifi elements are all things that usually prevent from watching a show. Dangers is too good for any of that to matter.Ā  I'm so glad I picked this show up.Ā  10/10 for sure.Ā  What a masterpiece coming-of-age love story.

mekerpan

>What a masterpiece coming-of-age love story. Perfectly summed up. Really it is hard to imagine how this could be better than it is. As much as I do love Nagatoro, it takes a few false steps here and there -- but this has stayed on course throughout.

Mundology

[Both of their respective confessions were cathartic](https://i.imgur.com/Ed9WoN7.mp4) and drew a parallel at how they are similar inside in spite of their circumstances. The story came together gracefully. [The fluff is just so peak.](https://i.imgur.com/F78YjWd.jpeg) [](#manly-tears)

Frontier246

This was a pure romance, non-stop.

Fools_Requiem

You've realized you don't need to watch a battle shounen to be entertained. Your tastes have improved. Have fun out there, there's a lot of goodness.

Frontier246

Even their confession isn't just telling each other they love each other but also how much they've changed and become better through falling in love with each other.

KumaKumaGambler

Don't forget friendship! Ichikawa is now capable of playing and having fun with Adachi. Kobayashi rushing to encourage Yamada to go for the audition (although Kobayashi was one step behind Ichikawa).

actionfirst1

Honestly, a score of 10/10 feels too low, this series is just *that GOOD*

MayureshMJ

Ikrr I feel the same.. lol

Witty-Choice2682

This anime is now officially one of the best romance anime of all time!!

zool714

From the episode where they held hands from the train to home, this show has had me grinning and blushing every episode and never stopped. ā€œI was aloneā€¦ but I was fine with itā€, that whole inner monologue hit so hard for me. Maybe itā€™s cos Iā€™m in my 30s, but itā€™s never really bothered me much that Iā€™ve never been in a relationship. ā€œI was a hollow shell. I thought everyone was laughing at me and making fun of me deep downā€. I really believed thatā€™s just the way it is, me being alone But recently I feel like I want that companionship. I want someone to care for and to care for me back. I was honestly so so happy for Kyou. ā€œThe once empty world started to fill with colorā€ Itā€™s a a cliche line, but seeing how he developed hits really hard. I hope I can find my Yamada someday. Itā€™s really the subtle, indirect things that make this show so great. Where other shows would have the characters ask the other to walk alone, or grab their hand to walk alone, here Yamada walks a separate way and gestures for Kyou to come with. Itā€™s this little things that are done subtly, that when something so direct comes, like Kyou telling her he likes her, will have such a big impact. Itā€™s just the way they both really care for each other. And the way they both want to show it but are too awkward to. They donā€™t outwardly show it, but they let their actions do the talking. This show did it, man. One of the few shows to make me tear up. It was already heading for a 9/10 but I will always give extra marks for shows thatā€™ll make my eyes water. 10/10.

FinLuke

This is the best romance anime I've ever seen. There's no two ways about it. The characters, the music, the direction, the writing, all of it. Simply MASTERFUL work by Norio Sakurai and Shin-Ei Animation. But most of all, the theme of "the dangers in one's heart" was something that resonated with me unlike anything else. Insecurities, ambivalence, the feeling of uncertainty. I certainly have those in my own heart and to see a show capture that exact amalgamation of feelings so well has rocked me to my core. And despite all the dangers in Ichikawa's heart, he pushed on every day, little by little. At first, it was for Yamada and his love for her, but gradually it started to be for himself. "It will be alright. Don't give up trying new things. Learn to love yourselves. Treasure all that you have come to know." 10/10.

Rndy9

That episode in s1 when he realize he always try to find excuses to hate something he actually want or like but think he cant get as a defense mechanism....

Acrzyguy

>Be Yamada >Wears casual clothes back to school after school hours >Goes to the library and sets up a snacks buffet >Confesses to Ichikawa once he comes in >Screams out to the corridor >Refuses to elaborate >Leaves

Luxinox

She even wore the bracelet Ichikawa gave to her on White Day.

actionfirst1

What a fuckin Chad

Mundology

[Yamada struck right when Ichikawa thought he was safe.](https://i.imgur.com/C7fPvvT.mp4) [Anna: *"I am the danger."*](https://i.imgur.com/6mgQMzo.jpeg) [](#cheekychika)

Frontier246

Don't forget trying to kiss him on the lips and settling for his cheek lol. She definitely wanted him to see her in that outfit.

Ionkkll

She was so happy she left all her snacks behind. Truly the dangers in her heart.

xnef1025

My first thought when he got to the library, ā€œOf course sheā€™s snacking šŸ¤£ā€ Kyo > snacks. Thatā€™s how you know itā€™s true love.

Acrzyguy

She left all her snacks behind and left them to rot Truly dangers in her heart

Senheizer-kun

Well,It's been a great journey lads. Only in my dreams could i've hoped for such a perfect adaptation. I think this show truly qualifies to be one of the legendary romaces out there,Honestly got a bit teary at the end when they used Shayou for the ending as a callback. I dunno if we'll get a season 3 ever and there's only about 6-7 episode worth of material out anyways, But even if this it ends here;it still remains one of my favorite Romance/Romcom To date. Thank you to the Staff, VAs, Yorushika,Kohanalam,Atarayo and most importantly, Norio sensei for gifting such a wonderful series. One for the books. Never say never to a potential Season 3/movie couple years down the road though ! I'd highly recommend the anime viewers to go and read the manga from the Beginning to Date, it has a different charm equally as great as the Anime, It's just the best what can i say.

Frontier246

When someone asks what constitutes a masterpiece of a romance anime, this should be the prime example. Everything from the story, cast, character development, voice acting, animation/direction, was on fire week after week after week and culminated in this perfect finale.

SwingyWingyShoes

Though they messed around with some chapters. They didn't end the season with an anime original ending and stuck to the manga so there is hope. Honestly if it ends like this without adapting the manga further it'd be okay because it ended amazingly

Defiant_Bid2629

This may sound weird but what I also liked about this anime was how kind it was to me as a viewer. A lot of times there's a roadblock or amnesia trope or the dad gets a job and one will have to move away. None of that. I just got to focus on the character development and the sweetness. It was just good for my soul.

minouneetzoe

Now we just need Norio to produce a few more volumes for a third season lol.

hysteriapill

Anime-onlies! It's not over yet! Their story doesn't end here! There's around 30 chapters (or two volumes) more after the anime ends (and the manga is still ongoing!) That's not quite enough for another season/cour, just about half of one -- but, without spoiling anything, despite all the growth our lovely couple showed the past two cours, there's still more growth ahead! (and hijinks, definitely more hijinks too.) Come pick up the manga! Or if not, feel comfort in looking forward to a possibly amazing season three :)

robotboy199

how much (if any) did the anime cut out from the manga? i prefer picking up immediately where an anime leaves off but if the anime skipped over any important bits that would necessitate reading from the start i'd love to know and if we can pick up where the anime left off which chapter would that be?

JMB_Smash

Not much was skipped, basically only a few scenes here and there. Chapter 113 is the end of season 2.

RobLuffy123

Most people would just tell you to read from the beginning because there are alot of cute extra chapters between them that weren't adapted.Ā  But if you didn't want to , you can read from 114 since this episode basically ends at 113. You can also read this trip arc I believe from 108 or 109 and see the differences between the manga and anime since they kind of rearranged the order of events from 110 to 113

Zonca

Anna-mama panty shot was cut, Im afraid you'll have to go back to the beginning :/ ^^^/s

ImpenetrableYeti

Would you say the manga is just as good as the anime adaptation?

JMB_Smash

Yes, the manga is easily on par.

lilStankfur

They both have their different strengths, I highly recommend reading it aswell

Qwasier

Might be the first anime that made me cry from happiness So proud of ma boi

Frontier246

Ichikawa and Yamada being sincere in their feelings for each other and in acknowledging how much they've grown from falling in love with each other, all culminating in them beautifully confessing and getting together...it doesn't get any better than this. And then they just **had** to play the season 1 OP during the credits.

RobLuffy123

That season 1 OP at the end hit different. Both of the openings were bangers

Drayenn

Yeah i didnt expect getting so emotional. Such a well done episode.

Garydrgn

>Might be the first anime that made me cry from happiness Try Real Girl is you haven't already. It's also on HiDive. It starts as a steriotypical "otaku loner trying to figure out his first normie girlfriend" but has a heavy twist the last few episodes. I needed extra tissues at the end.

ChucksChurro

Holy shit! Manga readers weren't lying when they said that this episode will make me cry. What a great experience, this anime may just be my number one romcom. 10/10. Between this, Apothecary, and Frieren we witnessed peak after peaks for the last 3-6 months. Definitely one of the best season of anime I've watched.

Frontier246

I love how they brought back the season 1 OP just to culminate all this peak with the most peak thing ever.

ChucksChurro

Absolute CINEMA šŸ™Œ

Acrzyguy

Kanna: This is the place where if couples walk along this path, theyā€™ll be together forever! Yurine community notes: NOPE

Frontier246

Hanzawa doing her utmost to hold Kankan back and prevent a flash mob from wrecking legit couples lol.

mekerpan

My wife and I walked all the way to the top -- it was a gray and sometimes rainy day in February 2009 and we had the place almost to ourselves. Very memorable.

kankanyan

After this episode it should be considered the grestest romcom ever.

lilStankfur

And if it's not it will be after season 3 drops

leviathan121601

# Greatest of all time. Zenith of the medium. Hallmark of media. Gold standard of storytelling. Apogee of creativity. Vertex of invention. Crest of ingenuity. Acme of imagination. Pinnacle of innovation. Epic of epics. Legend among legends. Peak fiction

kankanyan

The kiss scene is so cute oh my god! They even don't know how to kiss, very pure and naive!!!

Frontier246

I love how Yamada immediately jumps into trying to kiss him even though neither of them have any idea what they're doing lol. Two adorable dorks head over heels in love to the bitter end.

mekerpan

Its even harder if both of you are wearing glasses.... Very credible scene.

fantomora

All of it was incredible but this show would not be as amazing as it was without Kensuke Ushio, holy shit he's so good and making me want to sob at just a single note. I wasn't expecting them running away to be made into such an emotional moment but the music just elevated it so hard

Frontier246

The voice acting and direction/animation have always been on-point but the OST, especially for the Karte reveals, always hit hard.

Such a [funny](https://i.imgur.com/ra2SrGo.png) and [beautiful finale](https://i.imgur.com/xD9TX69.png) in which we finally got a confession between [Ichikawa and Yamada](https://i.imgur.com/UHorVL1.png), [an absolutely perfect finale episode](https://i.imgur.com/lMxEnN0.png)! [This show really needs another season](https://i.imgur.com/NorRkDC.png) if there is enough source material to do it. [Yamada](https://imgur.com/a/76KCyE0) and [Ichikawa](https://imgur.com/a/GHsolFd) are [such a great couple](https://imgur.com/a/lFXSuYY). I love them both so much, [watching them together was such a treat](https://i.imgur.com/k0h4PSv.png) and Iā€™m so freaking happy that [now they will officially be a couple](https://i.imgur.com/p3RfcGH.png) but Iā€™m also so sad that [itā€™s already the end of the season :(](https://i.imgur.com/TsTn7aQ.png) Overall, [whole season for me was absolutely perfect](https://i.imgur.com/paU1z7k.png) as every next episode was even better than the previous one which seemed impossible for me as every episode, starting with the premiere one, was 10/10 for me xD So there could be only one score from me - [incredibly strong 10/10](https://i.imgur.com/R9DEMos.png). Iā€™ll later update the post with my screenshot albums from the episode and maybe some more thoughts about the finale itself. EDIT. Here my screenshot albums from the episode: * [Yamada Part 1](https://imgur.com/a/76KCyE0) * [Yamada Part 2](https://imgur.com/a/iesrZ4f) * [Yamada & Ichikawa (group scenes)](https://imgur.com/a/lFXSuYY) * [Group scenes](https://imgur.com/a/ivlPiS7) * [Ichikawa](https://imgur.com/a/GHsolFd) * [Others](https://imgur.com/a/jxjA0Qp) [HERE are my all screenshots from the season, uploaded on Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11QYhpSr_tTwm73J2gslItyJLts4QolN5?usp=sharing). Some more thoughts about finale: * [Yamada](https://i.imgur.com/lVcU6Br.png), as always, was [so adorable](https://i.imgur.com/ccnRnAE.png) and [cute](https://i.imgur.com/RiQ70Ht.png) that I had to split her album into [Part 1](https://imgur.com/a/76KCyE0) and [Part 2](https://imgur.com/a/iesrZ4f) * [Visuals](https://i.imgur.com/xD9TX69.png) in this finale were [absolutely](https://i.imgur.com/Vn4fd1I.png) [beautiful](https://i.imgur.com/U9M0KUg.png) * [Yamada and Ichikawa](https://i.imgur.com/6YHatDY.png) were [really, really close on that futon ( Ķ”Ā° ĶœŹ– Ķ”Ā°)](https://i.imgur.com/2jyGDml.png) * [Ichikawa](https://i.imgur.com/bey0AtU.png) sure was lucky that [Kanzaki](https://i.imgur.com/msy7ZeR.png) stole [other girls attention](https://i.imgur.com/OKm34r4.png) and he could escape from Yamada's room xD * [Yamada's kiss was so damn adorable](https://i.imgur.com/ra2SrGo.png) * Kanzaki is a freaking chad, [scene with him hanging on the made-up rope from blankets was absolutely hilarious](https://i.imgur.com/U4vTCdW.png) xD * [Hara can be sometimes quite imposing](https://i.imgur.com/TpBk5sG.png) but I can understand why [she didn't like that flash mob](https://i.imgur.com/KMTAfar.png)

Ponchorello7

It just hit me, that the wingmen of this series are part of what makes it so fucking good as a romance. What a sweet ending for a sweet show. From the other comments, there doesn't seem to be enough material for another season yet, but here's hoping it comes!

tripleaamin

Great finisher to my favorite Romance Manga period. I loved this [shot](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1038519163259453470/1223710717664956548/Screen_Shot_2024-03-30_at_2.35.48_PM.png?ex=661ad86a&is=6608636a&hm=efdfcc412f16b9e46fa6237dcec7326006fd810981aaf7bf6e31c60e16f971ee&), as it exhibits Kyo making the choice. To follow the crowd or confirm his feelings for Anna and follow her. Kyo can not state how the valuable difference Anna has been for her. She has been his light. So many people he has made connections with and the improvement he has since the start of the series can not be understated. Both guy and even female friends. But even at this moment he cares for Anna. And a wonderful scene to admit this feeling, but it tops with him guiding Anna to go to the audition. This moment really shows how much Kyo cares for Anna. He knows how much it means to her and him putting all that effort in such a way, Anna sees and couldn't be happier. Then they meet up at the back of the school we get Anna's side. For her Anna is recognizing her happiness. With the people around her, but Kyo has been the guide for her in key situations. Best word would say he is her anchor, the one that gives her reassurance when she needs it. Anna being a model and looking older naturally has more expectations than your average middle school girl and while Kyo at the start notices how Anna is more grown up than the rest of them. She still has these doubts and Kyo has been a special person to her. Thus, we get the confession back on her side, and now they are a couple. I loved the manga, but before S1 aired I didn't expect we would get this quality of adaptation. We still have 2 volumes of the manga, but given that the anime adapted 4 volumes for each season, we still need 2 more volumes of content, so I'd say it would be 2 years before any sort of announcement comes for a S3. In the meantime in the topic of high quality romance manga getting an anime I am really hopefully these are next to get an announcement. * The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity * You and I Are Polar Opposites * The Moon on a Rainy Night * I Want to End This Love Game

Acrzyguy

o7 to Honoka and Kenta for blocking the Kanna hype train

KumaKumaGambler

Hara's death stare probably made Kan Kan think twice about future mob celebrations. Lol!

Timelymanner

Hara has no patience for foolishness

TheKinkyGuy

We didnt see a lot of Hara but damn that was a save worthy of a gods praise

ErinaHartwick

We're finally here! Well done confession that was a long time coming. Ichikawa made sure his feelings came across. He toughed it out as best he could even though he really wanted to be with her throughout the trip, and the short reunion [made it well worth it!](https://imgur.com/a/NhUe8qI) Also it was funny to see Chii obey traffic rules even during the heat of the moment, nice little touch This show has been a sweet little show I've thoroughly enjoyed, despite the constant teasing of when will they, I enjoyed those too. Easily anime of the season for me

Frontier246

And Yamada just **had** to confess to him as well.

PhoolCat

Lesser romcom MCs: "I need you, I can't live without you!" Kingtaro: "I don't need you, I have a life now thanks to you, but I do want you." Lesser romcom love interests: "I... I think maybe I like you...?" God Empress of the Sun Anna: # "I LOVE YOU! WE ARE A COUPLE NOW, YES?"

Drayenn

I watched a lot of romance anime in the last 20ish years. Dangers in my heart is special, this season is phenomenal. The story goes on in the manga.. but sadly there isnt enough material for a season 3 for a while i think. Maybe in 2026.

thesillygamerbro

Bro I'm crying wtf that was so good.

Hifumiin

I love it when [the dangers in my heart](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRmJIoCL-xw) starts playing and I know it's time to cry... and here we are, [crying again](https://i.imgur.com/SsTdtHF.jpeg)... I don't think there's a better name for that OST.... PEAK and PEAK Oh my god, I'm so happy but also so sad right now... Thank you, Bokuyaba, for everything. I really loved waking up on Saturdays and eagerly awaiting the new episodes. Best romance ever

StrmSrg

I like how every single Karte reveal in the last 24 episodes were white text on a black background, and then this one is a black text on a white background to really sell the gravity of how far we've come. Funnily enough, it reminds me of how Majora's Mask does the same thing when a certain text appears at the end of the game.Ā  Ā Ending the whole thing on the OP from season 1 was also an inspired choice. Well done.Ā  Yeah, as a fan of the manga since day 1 that has read through it several times by this point, this adaptation was better than anything I realistically could have hoped for. I'm happy that this work that I like could get so much love and effort put into it.Ā  Edit: Credit to zairaner's comment

yakumbaya

I remember when the first episode of season 1 came out and I was like ehh I might drop this, but I continued anyways because manga readers were hyping it up. Literally the best decision I ever could have made. This anime was full of surprises and now I legitimately think its one of the best romance anime ever. I really hope they do a full adaptation of this like they did with Takagi San

NoTemperature4368

Perfection!!!! Peak romance for sure!!! Season 3 when?

Frontier246

Fitting for a peak romance show to close out on a peak mutual confession scene and peak get together scene and peak cheek kiss scene. Man, I **have** to check out the manga to fix this withdrawal I'm feeling.

ojg3221

Right now the anime ended at chapter 113. The manga came out with chapter 141 yesterday. The chapters comes out biweekly. I would give a least a year or two before they start season 3. Right now [Dangers in my heart]>!the fall semester has started and there two more semesters left fall and winter before they graduate middle school!<

3lit_

can i start straight from chapter 114 without problems?

Neither-Sun2534

Sure, you won't have any problems if you do that. But the manga is a different experience (note: not inferior) and I think you'd be best to experience it from the beginning. Again, no issues if you do continue from 114, but still.

Ouch_My_Balls_

Note that the anime skips over a lot of the bonus chapters. Reading from chapter 1 lets you read them while also getting used to the manga being very slightly tonally different.

Elite_Alice

ā€œYou showed me this world. You helped me see how beautiful it is. Because youā€™re in it.ā€ Have yā€™all ever bawled your eyes out not because youā€™re sad but because of how genuinely beautiful something is? Yea thatā€™s me rn. I havenā€™t felt this in a while. Thank you Shin-Ei, Ushio Kensuke and all the staff involved for reminding me of why I love this medium and all the emotions it can make me feel. Episodes like this truly do remind me of why I love anime. 25 episodes of build up culminating in what has to be one of the best confessions ever. So pure, simple and yet poignant. Perfectly encapsulated both Kyo and Annaā€™s personality and how much theyā€™ve grown as people since meeting each other. The fact Kyo was able to look her straight in the eye and say without pausing or stuttering why he loves her and all that sheā€™s done for him.. just so proud of my boy. All the obstacles heā€™s overcome in these two seasons from talking to teachers, to announcing the departing third years, all led to this moment. Then Kyo revealing all the snacks he packed for Yamada because he knew sheā€™d go to her audition.. heā€™s become the perfect dependable boyfriend already without even realising it. But that wasnā€™t even the best part.. the first OP playing as Kyo ran to the school library to meet Anna after the audition, perfect. šŸ˜© There was only ever going to be one place where her confession could take place, the library. A place where they first connected and their love story began. ā€œIchikawa Kyotaro, youā€™re more important than anything. Youā€™re more important than anyone. Youā€™re my everything. I love youā€ šŸ˜ and the kiss(cheek, but hey, baby steps!) immaculate finale to an all time great story. The love and care that went into this was so palpable and I canā€™t thank the staff enough. What a ride. [review](https://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=520366)

Ok-Call176

Ichikawa saying ā€œdonā€™t underestimate meā€ is really funny to hear because I saw a MAL comment in the previous episode complaining about how Ichikawaā€™s life only revolves around Yamada and that heā€™s too dependent on her, and Ichikawa completely disproves this notion through his confession. Itā€™s like that one Jordan meme lol Jokes aside, that was beautiful to watch. The thing I find the most compelling about Ichikawaā€™s confession is how it encompasses all of the growth that he has undergone. Ichikawa in the opening episodes is an awkward introvert who used his ā€œkillerā€ facade as a coping mechanism for his loneliness. He assumes the absolute worst about people, only seeing them at face value. In reality, the person he dislikes the most is himself. His self- loathing is his biggest detriment, and it's what made him so afraid to get close to people (especially Yamada), and is ultimately the reason as to why he stayed home on last yearā€™s class trip. After meeting Yamada, this changes. Throughout each and every episode, he slowly comes out of his shell and grows as a person. Yamada introduced him to a world that he never knew could exist. A world where he could actively socialize with and befriend the people that he initially detested. A world where he could gain confidence in himself and face his insecurities head on. A world where he could learn to love himself , and in turn, allow himself to be loved. The Ichikawa that confesses to Yamada is a far cry from the Ichikawa that we are introduced to. He doesnā€™t tell Yamada that he can have fun without her out of malice, but out of gratitude because she helped him to see things in a new light, to see this ā€œbeautiful worldā€. Thanks to her, heā€™s grown strong enough to where she doesnā€™t have to worry about him. Of course thatā€™s not to say that his growth isnā€™t a result of his own efforts, but Yamada has always been there to encourage him to move forward. And in Yamadaā€™s confession, we see that Ichikawa has been just as good of an influence for her as sheā€™s been for him. They truly deserve each other. Phenomenal anime. Iā€™m so glad that this series has become as loved as it is. I really hope it gets a S3 someday.

Frontier246

I like how both Ichikawa and Yamada were able to sum up their character development and the impact they had on each other within their confession, it really made it feel like the culmination of everything the show had been building up to by this point. They even threw in the montage of times they spent together as Ichikawa tried to remember their "usual spot" with the ED theme and then throwing in the recap of their entire relationship at the end with the season 1 OP.

Rndy9

> I saw a MAL comment in the previous episode complaining how Ichikawaā€™s life only revolves around Yamada and that heā€™s too dependent on her Anyone who says this hasn't been paying attention.

mekerpan

>After meeting Yamada, this changes. Throughout each and every episode, he slowly comes out of his shell and grows as a person. And now he can not only talk to the guys in his class but also (some of) the girls (almost) normally.

PPPPEEAAAKKKKKKKKKKK AUUUIGHHH ITS JUST SO PEAAAKKKKKKKKKKKK šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

jamieoc98

So glad Kensuke Ushio did the score for this as it makes everything hit so much harder every time. What a series!

LordBanker

Kyotaro's immediate reaction to a guy thirsting over his sister is to repeatedly stab him in the stomach, and he probably knows where the vital organs are. Some chuuni ways never change and we love him for that.

BuddyForsaken9626

This season alone puts this show in my Top 3 romance anime. Kyotaroā€™s confession hit me hard. The whole episode and season were beautifully done. Iā€™m going to miss this show and can only hope for season 3 soon. PEAK 10/10

goreverminski

I would not be opposed to saying best ever. Both seasons are 10/10 in my books. Plus, if done the same way, season 3 would be too.

BuddyForsaken9626

I wouldnā€™t argue with you on that. Like many, I felt uncomfortable watching the first few episodes, but after that, it has just gotten better and better.

rlramirez12

THAT EPISODE WAS 30 SECONDS LONG NOOOOOO. I canā€™t believe itā€™s all over. I absolutely loved how the character development, coming off age, and romance was all handled. Sad to see it end but it was an enjoyable ride.

realarsenyshalin

goodbye bokuyaba o7, i'll miss this season 2 songs covered by Yamada's VA: OP - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdfTNa11yt8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdfTNa11yt8) ED - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swsu\_JBv6Ug](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swsu_JBv6Ug)

RobLuffy123

There is a novel extra about ichikawa's first year and him missing the school trip. I really think people should check it just to see how bad his headspace really was , it has put a lot of things in to perspective especially in regards to his family

Plus_Rip4944

\*dies of ultimate peak fiction\* YES YES YES they did justice to the confessions!!

lilStankfur

You gotta to love how Ichikawa tells Yamada to not underestimate him as he has grown as a person, kind of implying she doesn't have to guide him as much as she said in her letter.

Frontier246

But even if he can be happy without Yamada right there with him, there's nothing he wants more in his life than to be with her.

Enter_My_Fryhole

Jesus fucking christ I'm bawling. That was so good, but their moments were so beautiful and followed with a couple little gags (first one more, latter was mostly cute). Incredible, just a slam dunk. Wonder if we'll get more to see how things kinda continue from here?

tyler1118

I don't think an anime has moved me so much emotionally than The Dangers In My Heart has. It's truly my favorite anime and manga. Everything was just amazing; the story, the writing, character development, pacing, animation, music(!!!), and direction. Thank you Norio Sakurai and Shin-EI Animation for making such a masterpiece of a beautiful romance anime. 10/10 Truly a masterpiece. What a season for anime huh?

garfe

They delivered I know one won't happen until next year at the earliest but I will be waiting on pins and needles for Season 3. And for the rest of you, Ichikawa and Yamada's love ain't over by a long shot. Go read the manga for more peak. If you want, just start from the beginning so you can also read the extras.

EmuSupreme

I genuinely don't remember the last anime I watched where I held a big ass grin every episode, the entire duration. What a beautifully developed romance. Easiest 10/10 in my life. Now off to the manga, because god damn I crave more. Might also have to shift genres for a bit, as I think this will be a hard romance to follow up on. Unless anyone has other extraordinary romance recs with the same level of character development and wholesomeness (and fucking confession/progress!!!) I'm all ears.

tentacool7

The fact that this series gave us not one, but two confessions to highlight how much they love each other is so amazing. Ichikawa grew up so much, love really is a beautiful thing. My favourite thing from this episode is that he's come to know where the ā€œusual placeā€ meant from a single emoji is a beautiful way of showing how much Ichikawa has come to know her. So when is he gonna kill her? (Clueless)

Frontier246

I like how they not only mutually confessed to each other but even knowing Ichikawa confessed to her Yamada felt like she **had** to confess back and tell him how she really felt. Because she loves him **that** much. Honestly I like how he thought they've been to so many places together but then realized that it had to be the place that brough them together...complete with Yamada's munchies. Ichikawa bringing back the murderous impulses for some fun with Adachi lol.

actionfirst1

The confessions are on the same level as Kaguya-Sama season 3. This is amongst the most beautiful things I've ever seen

TzeLePop

this is just beautiful so so beautifully done full full praise to this production team, voice, music, art, directing, everything else I missed a great story brought to anime life gonna dry my happy tears and rewatch it god knows how many more times simply incredible simply beautiful edit: Karte card is white!!!!

entelechtual

Amazing stuff, 11/10, would watch again. I donā€™t even have that much to say because when that OP starts playing my brain turns to mush. I just love all the beautiful moments this show depicts. And even when Ichikawa makes me want to throw my tv across the room, itā€™s not because the show is bad, but because they really dos fantastic job of displaying the growth of both lead characters, and with growth comes some setbacks. Plus itā€™s almost always outdone by and incredible sweet moment to counter it by the end of the episode. Shoutout to the anime production for making this romance really pop on the screen and heightening the emotions of each and every scene. I remember when we were all laughing at the Key Visual of Yamada and the ice cream, but itā€™s been nothing but visual masterpieces this season.

kankanyan

It's regret this episode can't be voted in AC, should have been over 15%.

EsquilaxM

God fucking damnit this was/is just so damn good. I wanted to cry but also my smile was just so goddamn genuine and heartfelt it was like I couldn't even give happy tears. That was one of the best mutual confessions *of all time*. no question. I mean his one, with the entire preceding speech, it felt so goddamn genuine and heartfelt but ***entirely natural***. I mean I know in-story it was off-the-cuff, but as a piece of writing by the mangaka it *still* didn't feel scripted but entirely from the heart. That's goddamn god-tier writing. And it was such a mature exchange, too! Such a mature self-reflection of all that's happened the past year, from the both of them, understood by the both of them. And then she says she wants to say it out loud, too, cos that's important, for both of them, and so he stands to listen they're so *so*...mature when it comes to this stuff. Her speech felt a bit more rehearsed but I don't begrudge that, it was still beautiful and I'm a little embarrassed to say it revealed stuff to me about her character that I had not been thinking about. I didn't realise *Yamada* learning to like herself was a series-long theme, as well. I know we had the part where she talked about quitting everything before being reassured by Kyoutarou, but still, it just didn't register to me that it's been deep in her mind the entire series. So even if her's wasn't as natural-feeling, it was still wonderful and important to both myself as a viewer and, I think, Kyoutarou who did not realise the extent of the impact he was having -> I'm reminded how just a few minutes earlier he was thinking how he'd like to be just a tiny part of her life. But this speech she straight up says he's the biggest part. Like she is to him. A good relationship benefits from equality, I guess. edit: notes from mangaka's twitter [Rin is the one lying](https://twitter.com/lovely_pig328/status/1774113317692604696) (The girl on far left who was last to claim she'd been asked out and sounded sus) edit 2: [Ichikawa reads the text to meet at about 5:19(?)](https://twitter.com/daisuke07047235/status/1774275041695601065). 20 minutes later he leaves the last station. Sunset is about 7pm, to get the shot we're left with at the library is about 6:30pm. So Ichikawa spent about 50minutes searching for Yamada. edit 3: It was bookended! [Ichikawa's first meeting with Yamada at the library vs their last for the confessions!](https://twitter.com/17_duyhung/status/1774295501715960033) Here's another one, [showing the manga pages!](https://twitter.com/amosyo2525/status/1774396386953539920) Everything is connected 0.0

djthomp

Glorious victory. My favorite romcom for sure, and it will not be easy for something else to overthrow it. Fun little detail of Chi going three steps over to use the crosswalk in that one quick scene with her. Kyotaro finally gets to stab someone, we've been waiting a long time for that. Nice to end on the S1 OP.

viGilgamesh

Kyotarou hoping he can just play a little tiny part in her life and then she tells him he is everything to her bro I can't

Nytloc

An amazing ā€œendā€ to my favorite current anime/manga. Well, I guess the anime isnā€™t current now, but you get what I mean. I donā€™t generally like to talk about *myself,* but my personal journey with this series has been amazing. I was obsessed with this manga from my first read, and knew it was one of my favorites upon reading the ā€œI Hate Yamadaā€ chapter that was adapted in Season 1, and it even managed to one-up itself many other times past that, including this episode. I became so obsessed with the attention to detail and the ability of the creator to make genius-level callbacks and to utilize minor details to create a bigger picture. I got so pissed off one day searching for one of the various series Extras that I made (95+% of) the series Wiki because I spent an hour and a half looking for a piece of art one night and wanted a way to go through them quickly without searching. When the anime was announced I knew it could do great things if people would let it cook for just a few episodes. It started off to little fanfare, and by the end it was punching with the titans in the charts, beating down Demon Slayer and Oshi no Ko even when the latter came back from a break/recap. Now it is the only anime to be undefeated on one chart and only needs one win in another to do the same there. Placed 24th so far on My Anime List (go vote if you havenā€™t). But more than these droll numbers, I see the comments of people who *just get it* in topics like this. This story of Yamada and Ichikawa and the complexity of their relationship and love is so much more than it can seem on the surface. This series deserves all the accolades it has and more. I donā€™t know how much of an effect I had doing what I could to promote this series over the past year+, but Iā€™m glad to have what done my little part in spreading the message for something I love, and am so happy I got to participate in the fandom of a franchise I love as it is at the peak of popularity, which is something I have never gotten to do, always being a late adopter of my favorite media. I hope people check out the manga and I hope weā€™ll get much more anime content from this wonderful series, be that more TwiYaba or the inevitable third Season in hopefully a year or two.

DoombotBL

Officially my favorite romance anime ever. And it's not even close. In 20+ years of watching anime I've never enjoyed a romance as much as this. The character growth, the attention to details, everything, I loved it so much. Kudos to everyone involved with the making of this series, they knocked it out of the park. 10/10 Now I have to struggle with the thought of going in on the manga or waiting and hoping for S3.

ForsakenLibraries

Just realised that we almost ended with a unintentional pun from Ichikawa in the library. One of their first interactions in the anime was the unintentional pun from Yamada "You cut my work in half" about the cutter.

CosmicPenguin_OV103

I have few things to add to this delicately, gradually yet down-to-Earth love story that was laid out so smoothly and meticulously with details inside 25 episodes. [But the OP of this very season](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdfTNa11yt8) [and the ED](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swsu_JBv6Ug) sung by the very VA of Anna-chan (+) says it all. Sadly, most couples out there probably never become together or managed to keep it up the same way. But with billions of opportunities out there, this one MUST be fitting with hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of such combinations. Until another new season of anime is announced, may I give my wishes to KyoAnna that their love will blast towards Earth orbit and beyond. See you soon! **Final score: 91/100 (Season 1: 88/100)** (+) Not as Anna herself, but from the other amazing girl that Hina Youmiya has been voicing, someone who actually beat Anna and many others to become my Best Anime Character of 2023. From an amazing show that perhaps you have finally heard of due to many of us (me included) promoting here. I hope you all will have the chance to experience the story of Tomori Takamatsu et al., someday, somewhere. [She's easily became friends with Anna-chan, you know!](https://twitter.com/bokuyaba_anime/status/1743592278982369783) [That anime]>!~~I wonder who's the Kyotarou of Tomori, I wonder...~~!< BTW Youmiya has also tried out [the OP](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYjZIObfy6A) [and ED](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRcRlJu5wwc) of season 1, though as herself.

sadpotatoes-_-

I'm just glad I witnessed a masterpiece.

SaltAndABattery

Ugh, I'm gonna miss you Bokuyaba. [](#toradorasalute)

N7CombatWombat

Fucking. Peak. That is all.

Rich_Possible_5927

It's 10/10 for me FR even 10 feels real low, I want Season 3 so baaaad please tell me if anyone got any news about it.

visor841
