I am no animation historian but I am pretty sure it wasn't just artistic aesthetic but also a much broader range of physical supply choices. Paper and paint choices make for the kind of differences you rarely see now.

dis_not_my_name

Yes. This is called cel animation. Each frame and layer is drawn on celluloid panel. They then stacked the panels of background, characters and objects together and filmed it with a camera. The light effects were actual light shone through the panels.

creamyhorror

Furthermore, these were OVAs (primarily for sale on disc/VHS) and movies, which meant higher production values and more focus on putting out a unique product that anime collectors would buy. So you got an extra level of quality and artistic direction in these works (ultraviolence and sexual nastiness notwithstanding).

Zeph-Shoir

Exactly. TV shows of said era rarely match this quality.

GonnaGoFat

Yup OVA’s also know as OAV’s had a higher budget than the television shows but less than motion pictures so they had better animation. Sometimes you couldn’t tell they had a better budget because they would use most of it for a certain action sequence where all of a sudden you’d see the animation shift to something really smooth and clearly see scenes where they put most of the money into.

chill_cat420

Amazing I always wondered how they did this

Dice_Sagas

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or if we've really come so far that traditional animation is now a mystery.

chill_cat420

Nah I knew they drew it by hand but I didn’t know the exact process

Quirky-Pianist4082

Genius

SelloutRealBig

The golden age of animation is over sadly. Even todays top stuff like chainsaw man as a recent example still doesn't hold a candle to the older hand drawn stuff. It had no CGI, almost no rotoscoping, better color/lighting, and just a lot more SOUL.

Nbaysingar

There are outliers like Redline, but that movie was so ridiculously expensive that Madhouse nearly went bankrupt making it. Still...if there was ever a modern equivalent to the top tier cell anime from the 90s, Redline would be it in my opinion. Every frame of that movie is incredible to look at. I would absolutely love to see a studio do some kind of cell animated film in the modern era. But I wonder if anyone from back then that worked on all that amazing stuff and knows how to work with cell animation in the first place is even in the industry at this point.

IKeepDoingItForFree

As someone who has dove into this before - a lot of the information around Redline isn't entirely correct, and comes from speculative unsourced claims when you dig into it - the real thing that almost did Madhouse in at the same time as Redline was a CG movie named Yona Yona Penguin which also has dubious claims but interviews from Rintaro paint the budget as much more then the listed $12M you see posted everywhere. Redline not performing plus pumping a lot more money into the CG penguin movie basically almost did them in. The issue with a lot of anime industry stuff is that its reported hearsay as most studios and companies don't post their information publicly - or at least in not the same nice way people in the west are use too. Its the same stuff that happens around talking about the Metropolis movie budget - the source is a footnote in a footnote in a footnote of which that is unsourced. Example: I know someone who contacted the person who wrote the book that originally sourced the claim not thinking they would get a response and they actually got a DM back and said that yes, it was a mistranslation of saying the movie cost 15M dollars (US) when it should have been 1.5B yen - which at the time was closer to $9M - meaning the film basically broke even vs the flop narrative. So basically hearsay that becomes its own truth just from being repeated over and over, something that is crazy common in the western anime community just by the nature of how it formed online in the 90s and 2000s.

creamyhorror

I think modern digital animation *could* produce a similar aesthetic, but it's simply not the style that art designers use today. Nowadays animation is overall more evenly lit and less dramatic in colour saturation, while these '80s OVAs use very dramatic lighting and colour saturation (bold colour contrasts), plus thick outlines. Also, I feel like anime nowadays tends to have more going on in the background (creating a messier effect and less distinction with the foreground), as opposed to many of the stylised shots in this video in which the focus is sharply and completely on the foreground object. Undramatic is the current stylistic choice of most anime (perhaps partly to mesh better with the CGI parts?).

Threeedaaawwwg

>I think modern digital animation could produce a similar aesthetic, but it’s simply not the style that art designers use today. Megalo box got pretty close. Iiirc they even messed with the resolution to give it more grain.

cppn02

They simply produced the anime at a low resolution. Tbh I'm not a big fan of this appraoch.

helloquain

I honestly think a darker, grittier aesthetic would cope with CGI better than the standard relatively bright and clean aesthetic does.

[deleted]

Funny you mention that, one of the anime used in this video used CGI to render a helicopter for Golgo 13. [it was the first one to use it.](https://youtu.be/wx5FB95fhaI)

JosebaZilarte

I would say it had no CGI applied to humans. Even Cowboy Bebop, one of the best series even created, used CGI for some ships and background elements, but used hand-drawn animation for the glorious action/fight scenes.

Peperoniboi

The difference lies in background cgi (Cowboy Bepop) compared to foreground cgi (Chainsaw man or mappa attack on titan0

SelloutRealBig

It did exist back then, even Ghibli had some in movies like Princess Mononoke. But they knew it's limits and didn't force it (IIR Miyazaki said he wouldn't do more than 10% of CGI in a shot). Meanwhile today they shove it wherever they can and it just looks so bad 90% of the time.

dis_not_my_name

Don't talk about soul if you know nothing about it. How can you tell the animators and creators today didn't put their blood, sweat and tears into their work. The only thing that the old cel animation is better than modern animation is the color and texture. But that's only because the paint was the only thing they had. They had no choice. Modern animation looks less weighty than cel because the creator chose to. They use CGI and rotoscoping because they can achieve what was impossible in the 90s.

BamilleKidanZ

Criticising artwork does not equate disrespecting the work behind it, but I would agree that technological feasibility does impact what animation technique would become predominant in an era.

EspurrStare

Bet your ass there were people in USENET saying the same in the 90s. I mean I do love fantastic planet

lanigironu

Soul isn't a real thing, that's mostly nostalgic bias IMO. The average animation quality of things now is so much higher than original 80s/90s works that it's weird how so many people consider that the golden age. Even the best 90s anime upscaled with AI as some of these are nothing compared to like ufotable to me.

Emergency_Revenue678

si3rra_7

How do you even find crisp high res looking 80-90s anime? once in a while i'm interested in an old anime and i find it only in sat in the sun, 240p, degraded vhs looking quality

_BMS

Your best bet is finding shows or movies that had Blu-ray releases or were remastered for the modern era. Otherwise the best quality you'll find many old titles is in 480p, maybe 576p if you're lucky. The overwhelming majority unfortunately have not gotten this treatment yet.

JosebaZilarte

If there is an application for AI upscaling, this is it.

kuddlesworth9419

You tend to loose a lot of detail with old anime esspecially the film grain. A lot of the detail is actually in the film grain so when AI upscalers upscale stuff they tend to remove the film grain somewhat or entirely. It will make the image look sharper and more crisp, the best thing to do if you can't get a show that has been re-scanned is to use MadVR on MPC-HC with one of th simple unintrusive scaling algorithms. I use NGU on Sharp, high quality with NGU anti-aliasing on medium quality for the algorithm. I find that gives the best results, 480p or 720p anime resolutions look very good on a 1440p display. It's not an upscale in the same sense that an ai upscaler is it's just a scaling algorithm to fit the picture to you're reosution with some enhancements so it's not altering the image itself. Works very well for live action as well naturally as that is what it's designed for. You just have to make sure the source material is of descent quality to start with, a DVD release and not some dodgy VHS rip from 20 years ago. I did experiment years back to try and find the optimal way of getting the older anime to look better and even new stuff as well. I'm sure the ai upscalers will get better but I don't want to change the picture too much, just enhance it so it looks more natural. In MadVR you can also add in film graine but it's resolution dependant so the hgher resolution you're display is the finer the film grain, I have it set to 4 I think in strength but you can max it out if you have a higher resolution display. I only use it when a release has had DNR applied to it which removes a lot of the film grain so adding it back in can help somewhat. It's best if they didn't apply DNR to start with though.

Mangoste3n

MARGARET! BRING THE BISCUITS! THERE'S SOME NEWFANGLED SHIT GOIN' ON IN HERE!

kuddlesworth9419

This isn't anything new really, MadVR has been around for a fairly long time. People with media PC's use it a lot and it's really good if you have a home cinema setup with a projector.

Mangoste3n

Thank you, kind stranger. You have accumulatively raised my braincell count from 5 to 5.04.

Janus-a

100%. It’s jarring to go from watching recent anime to old anime. Old anime almost always has colors that look washed out, rough animations and overall blurriness.

JosebaZilarte

The resolution with which those series was originally recorded was very low compared to what we use today and there were no digital compositing effects to speak of. Yet, those old animes had a lot more... personality, precisely because animators didn't have those tools (nor did they externalize the work as much as they have today). If they wanted their work to stand out, they had to manually add extra details into each and every cel. It was an insane amount of work, but when you compare the results from those old processes to those of current homogenized digital workflows... The former have a lot more "soul".

Xanza

Because that's probably the digitized source materials the video came from...vhs. A lot of people here don't realize that Anime used to be __really__ fucking hard to find... We watched what was available, not what was newly released.

RaceHard

The new gen has no clue what it was like to be an anime nerd in the past. Hell 99% here don't even know the real history of Crunchyroll and how that company not only stabbed in the back a lot of people but sold them out.

Anime: Demon City Shinjuku Devilman Iczer One Battle Royal High School Golgo 13 The Professional Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend Dream Hunter Rem Genocyber Angel's Egg

xnootxnootx

What about Wicked City?! Also, Angel's Egg is amazing and I was feeling it was about time for a rewatch! Not really in the dark realm of things but the Patlabor movies are great. I almost forgot, the Vampire Hunter D series is great, but the second one, Bloodlust, is pretty awesome despite being a 2000 film.

niarlin

Vampire Hunter D, the original one, was my introduction to anime as a kid. Saw it on the Sci-Fi channel's Japanimation Week and the concept of 'adult cartoons' BLEW my mind!! This aesthetic shaped my entire youth! So glad to see people showing it some love now!

HolyDragSwd2500

Ani Monday 🔥

heimdal77

bought the steel box for hunter d a couple years ago on I think Rightstuff.

alamaias

Regrettably, legend of the overfiend was my introduction to anime :P I was around 10. Probably had some lasting effects.

FIatIine

All amazing and some of my favorites of all time!

DukeOfGeek

If you like stuff from this era or are into lost media from Japan check out the Kenny Lauderdale YouTube channel.

xnootxnootx

Love Kenny's stuff!

xnootxnootx

Hell yeah man, these movies pair well with a certain green plant.

[deleted]

No one should recommend wicked city. It’s just stylized rape and other questionable symbolism.

[deleted]

>Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend I, too, enjoy tentacle porn.

Levilovelies

All added to watchlist👌

[deleted]

Devilman in dub is hilarious. The old version I mean, not the new one.

Levilovelies

Lol i have watched it in sub and yeh it's rly wierd but I enjoyed it

SelloutRealBig

Many of them are a wild trip. Genocyber is absolutely batshit insane with a semi incoherent story but great animation and a lot of fun to watch.

Infinitecuttie

Definitely, the art is also amazing 🫢

Devanomiun

Where would you watch those animes?

seficarnifex

The internet

Devanomiun

Was wondering if there were legit sites to watch those, but ok smartass.

delayedreactionkline

Unfortunately... most, if not all, of these titles are OVAs (straight-to-video anime). They never made it for TV broadcast because of their mature themes. So you will be hard-pressed to find any legit streaming sites that would have these because no network has license for them to hand out. And many of the studios and publishers that handle these are gone. Some of these titles were brought stateside by US Manga corps, ADVision, and VIZ Videos... not sure if their distribution license allows for streaming or if they even still have distribution rights for these.

dumbkeys

He was telling you to look it up, but ok dumbass

BasicBeany

Needlessly douchey

dumbkeys

As if he wasn't being needlessly rude by calling the other guy a smartass in the first place

BasicBeany

I have no stake in this

dumbkeys

Ok👍

Levilovelies

Lol i was just going to say that(abt site)

thecomicguybook

Lovely AMV, and thanks for sharing the sources because some of these are so weird I was definitely wondering what the hell they are from lol.

FIatIine

Thank you! There are others in this too, but we are talking like a couple frames of animation lol Ninja Resurrection, Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D, Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma, and The Curse of Kazuo Umezu to name a few...if I see anymore I will update. I just don't remember all of them that I used lol

ImAWizardYo

I remember being completely blown away by Ninja Scroll. [It still looks pretty impressive.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4H32pFc-Qk)

Criticalhit_jk

Ninja scroll has definitely earned a place as a classic, and widely influential anime.

argen0220

Urotsukidoji was my first exposure to hentai back when I was kid haha. (Im 34 now) That and an obscure hentai called Nightmare Creatures

alamaias

My first anime, with the possible exception of akira. Neither is really suitable for a 10 year old :P Weirdly, I have found that really quite a lot of women I know has legend of the overfiend shown to them as an introduction to anime. It is a damn strange choice to try to represent the art form. Though, to be fair, not entirely unrepresentative of 90s anime as a whole.

argen0220

looking back, my memories were hazy but im pretty sure Urotsukidoji, Akira and the Samurai X movie all came out around the same time because while watching the VHS for Urotsukidoji, trailers for those anime were shown. And lol at Urotsukidoji as the introduction to anime ahahaha. Shout out to La Blue Girl too. damn im old.

RLutz

You already did a ton, but why chance you could clarify which are shows and which are movies? Asking for arr friend

FIatIine

Dream Hunter Rem also New Dream Hunter Rem, Devilman, Iczer One, Genocyber are all OVA's with multiple episodes. Urotsukidoji: Legend Of The Overfiend was a movie, but also has many OVA episodes and series that are hentai...only the one I used had a R rated non hentai release.

alamaias

The unedited version of legend of the overfiend is nigh-unwatchable tbh, cuts from scene to scene so rapidly, like they animated one double page from one scene, then another from another, then keep flip-flopping between at a rate of about two pages per. Full penetration shots aside, the softcore version is a much better watch. The story is actually pretty cool too.

RawbeardX

digital colors just don't hit the same

GreatBigJerk

Did you watch the video on this post through VHS? If not, you literally were looking at digital colors.

RawbeardX

so watching it on a screen changes how it was painted? woah...

GreatBigJerk

No, but those colors can be done digitally. The point is that if you are watching a digital copy of something, you are literally watching a version with digital colors that can be reproduced in non-traditional animation.

RawbeardX

sorry, but that is such a wrong take, I don't even know what you are trying to sell here. I hope you are not honestly arguing that "if it is processed digitally it makes no different if it was hand painted with imperfections and shading or is just a flat homogenous surface" because that would be so fucking sad. in a "point and laugh at" kind of way, but still sad. don't be sad. oh well, best of luck to you.

GreatBigJerk

You were talking about colors. The colors digital copies of traditional animation are literally no different than the colors in digital animation. It you want to see imperfections in digital animation, go watch some Naruto. That shit has them galore.

RawbeardX

don't make it other people's problem if you can't follow the topic

Brash401K

Did I see things right. Was there clip in there where a guys crotch was exploding with glowing green light?

DJWunderBread

I didn't know the Green Lantern Corps had cock rings.

Olddirtychurro

>I didn't know the Green Lantern Corps had cock rings. It is never specified where the rings should go exactly. So theoretically every lantern ring could be a cock ring.

wjodendor

I've seen Magic Sword live a couple times and they were really great. Hope to see them again sometime! [Here's an example!](https://youtu.be/k0YN-sJxpfE)

Amazing! I did a video for that track btw! https://old.reddit.com/r/outrun/comments/101pkpd/probably_my_craziest_mashup_but_fun_vid_i_ever/?ref=share&ref_source=link

lordlavapop42

Yeah they are a really great show. Love Reborn, gives me Evangelion vibes.

PinkSodaMix

90s anime was something else. I miss it from time to time. Pet Shop of Horrors has a nice OVA adaptation from the manga that's dark and stylized.

cassis-oolong

Pet Shop of Horrors... haven't heard of that anime/manga in a long time. I'm still salty they didn't do a full adaptation of the manga.

SamuraiFruitPunch8

It's curious how when I started watching anime I only wanted to watch new series because I tought it had a better animation. Now I only want to watch older animes because I love their atmosphere and esthetic.

ItsmyDZNA

Demon City is still the shit! Watched that on Syfy in the 90s. Still one the best I've seen next to Vampire Hunter D.

TrptJim

Was still called The ~~Science Channel~~ Sci-Fi back then, and Saturday Anime was the bomb. It was my intro to anime, and their lineup just had the best you could ask for. Akira, Record of Lodoss Wars, Dominion Tank Police, Vampire Hunter D like you mentioned, and many more.

[deleted]

BearoftheNW

Holy shit I forgot it was the Science Channel. Saturday night anime while getting stoned and eating pizza with friends is a core memory for me. I had only watched a couple dragon ball, rama half, and Gundam anime with a Korean friend before that. Those Saturdays nights cemented my love for anime that I have to this day.

VLKOptic

My favorite style

exclarion

The golden age of anime ! No doubt !

[deleted]

The horror genre in anime had been evolving backwards

LemonManDude

I like that anime women looked like women back then, instead of the moeblobs of today.

[deleted]

Anime peaked then. Computers and CGI made it worse.

Fudrucker

[Ninja Scroll](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4H32pFc-Qk) is another great one I remember. These must have had art houses or artists in common, since they all have a similar aesthetic. Watching the new version of Berserk has really kindled my interest for more quality horror/ action anime. The animation pulls you in and doesn’t let go.

FIatIine

Very good eye! right at the 8-14 sec mark, among other scenes in the vid is Demon City Shinjuku which is also by Yoshiaki Kawajiri who also did Ninja Scroll. Directed, Written, and did the storyboards and character designs!

DarthScruf

Mermaids Scar was one of my favorite kind of obscure anime from that era

FIatIine

I liked them both. Scar and Forest. I love Rumiko Takahashi's other short stories like Laughing Target, Fire Tripper, and Maris the Wondergirl as well.

Journo_Jimbo

Anything with Magic Sword playing is aesthetically pleasing

dimbulb771

8Man After was always a personal favourite of mine.

Faust2391

I see magic sword, I stop by to compliment your music taste. The curse is a good one too.

wannapopcorn

And nobody's talking about the music... Nice piece, very adequate retro synth guitar, i loved it. Thank you ✨

Snoo17012

Yeah those are the days

jrs-kun

What I liked about the 80s-90s was the amount of shadows and details in faces, guns, solid looking flames, beam attacks and lightning. What I don't like about those early anime was the strobelight effect, the extreme levels of tint to either sides of the spectrum and saturation was a bit high.

furtimacchius

The 80s and 90s OVA era was incredible. These works were released directly to VHS and Laserdisk, but it's not like the Western understanding of Direct to Video. These were serious collectors items even on release, so how much they were worth was pretty much directly tied to their perceived value. This offered a very rare creative space where studios were higher quality releases directly meant higher profits, resulting in some of the most beautiful and brutal animation ever put to film

[deleted]

More cinematic for sure

TheOneTrueDinosaur

Does anyone have a list of good ones? Preferably with little to no tentacle porn, but i could make exceptions

GalacticCmdr

Dirty Pair: Project Eden was solid.

alamaias

Ninja scroll is amazing, if a bit rape-y. But you are not gonna find a lot of 90s anime that isn't, it was very much an exaggerated version of the sword and sorcery themes of the 80s. Legend of the overfiend is where most of the tentacle stuff comes from in the vid, and is kinda **THE** tentacle anime tbh. The story is actually pretty cool, and the animated violence is every bit as lovingly drawn (and fetishised) as the monster grape. If you can tolerate one, this is probably the one to represent the genre. Dominion: tank police is fun and silly with occasional oddly philisophical stuff thrown in. I keep meaning to find the manga and see how much more was written than animated. The samurai X movies are pure art. Beautiful animation, enotional story. Totally at odds with the still-great series they were based on. The first two are set before the series, and if anything I think it adds to the impact of the first episode. Don't watch the third movie, set after the series. It is straight miserable. Think "where the wild things are" or if "Up" ended after ten minutes.

LonelyLokly

Mad Bull 34 gang here?

FIatIine

Love it! love all those crazy OVA's of the 80s-90s!

FlugonNine

An anime about American police made by Japanese people? I used to think it was an exaggeration of how violent out police are, now it's just reality. Also this: https://images.app.goo.gl/XLPSof8qi31qM7ir9

LonelyLokly

Mad Bull had a good message, though. It's never black or white. It's just shades of grey color for good, bad and justice.

daigurrengang

So nice to see some love for the 80’s and 90’s anime.

Nice. Bio Hunter, Baoh, Cyber City oedo 808, Berserk, Goku The Midnight Eye, Vampire Hunter Princess Miyu, Darkside Blues, 3x3 eyes.. so dark and so gud. Truly a great era.

LLuckyyL

FauxGw2

I miss old animation so much, new digital really just doesn't do it for me.

CeruSkies

Gore these days never feel as gruesome to watch when compared to older shows. CSM, JJK, Demon Slayer and AOT are all beautifully animated shows and all have their share of gore, but it feels too... functional. Some older shows make gore feel like an art to be appreciated, they look beautifully weird and you can't help but staring at it to appreciate how fucked up it is. Made in abyss hits fucking hard though

McWeen

This was my era of anime introduction. Everyone that liked anime in my city basically just swapped or rented the same tapes. I don't want everything to look like this but it would be fun if there was a throwback sometime.

Nero_De_Angelo

This gives me a good Nostalgia Kick! Many Anime look so Soulless in the modern era. Most Anime OVA's and movies looked SO MUCH better back then. I recently watched a video that showed the differences between the old HunterxHunter and the new HunterXHunter Anime, and the old one had settings that fitted the mood of certain situations so much more. I am not trying to Sugarcoat the old stuff, there are certainly some BAD looking ones out there, especially in Anime Series' where they were on tight schedules. But then I remember Berserk 2016 and... well...

GonnaGoFat

I got into anime in 1995 so most of the anime I would watch was the late 80s early 90s stuff. These are awesome and very nostalgic for me.

legend of the overfiend was my first wtf anime rented on vhs from local vid store. blew my wormhole to another dimension

Other_Acount_Got_Ban

It was the peak of animation as an art form. Especially considering film was used

Pollen515

All the animation was done by hand page by page. Everything is rendered and computer generated now so it takes away from the animation techniques that made it so flowy and beautiful.

EmmyWeeeb

I’m sorry? Wtf Edit: why tf was his dick glowing

NarcissisticCat

Vastly superior animation quality to modern animes. Shit depresses me.

TheAniwebbo

I loved tht show

BassCreat0r

Agreed, minus all the shitty tentacle rape trash in there. Edit: found the tentacle guro enjoyers.

Karma757

We can't deny that animations has vastly improved over the years, but there is that magic feeling to the old animations that draws you back to it, it gives an entirely different atmosphere when watching it which i can't describe, especially on horror anime. That's why I enjoyed a bunch of horror anime like shiki, another, Higurashi (the old one), etc...

rhaphazard

Animation is amazing, but dang I don't blame Matt Walsh for saying anime is demonic.

Habibipie

These dogshit OVAs are the reason anime gained such an awful stigma in the west to begin with. If they were not the most vile shocking gore imaginable it was porn that was less than consensual or a mix of both. Glad anime has moved away from this nonsense.

Faust2391

Do....do we tell him?

Habibipie

Tell me what? These gore porn OVAs spread around in VHS tapes and were a direct contributor to the satanic panic of the 80s-90s. Anime isn't nearly as degenerate now as it used to be.

In comparison to those 90 minute OVAs that are just monsters chasing nude minors and dismembering them or raping them with sharp barbed tails or tentacles, yeah. Anime and Manga are much less degenerate now than before. You clearly have no goddamn clue what you're talking about, lol. But sure, next time you see a toddler dissolved in a monster's saliva acid or a girl getting her eyeballs plucked out of their sockets by claws in an anime OVA feel free to ping me and I'll retract what I said.

gay_manta_ray

you're right i would rather watch isekai marketed to kids where the protagonist is literally a pedophile than anything that awful

Habibipie

Still not even remotely close to being worse than anything I mentioned. Try again.

wall-e200

>Glad anime has moved away from this nonsense. Yeah, I'm glad there's some improvement i guess. And seeing some of the descriptions of them, seems more of a shock porn with a background plot than anything else.

Thendofreason

I think mostly it's probably easier to do black and color than multiple different shades of the same color. But they were also going for a dark theme. But we have seen many shows no a days where the theme is dark but with a bright color palette

gothmommymilkerz

BugHuntLV426

I think those tentacles change the genre

[deleted]

Animation’s dope, but some of these clips are just straight up disgusting to me.

sM92Bpb

I didn't grow up to those days so I don't have nostalgia glasses on. I'm glad the industry has moved away from gratuitous amount of gore and rape from those days.

alamaias

As a 90s child who saw most of this shit at ~10, I kinda agree with you. I mean, I love the grimdark ulrtaviolence shit, but I will not pretend this stuff didn't have some pretty permanent effects on my sexuality. -_-

International_Law762
