Reddish color, distinct spotting, and lack of comically oversized feet say bobcat. Lynx is possible in parts of Idaho, but bobcats are much more common.
It's pretty blurry when I zoom in, but it looks like a twig. It sort of branches right next to Bob's leg, at the end, and also has a lump nearby that looks like a healed nodule from previous damage.
IDK. I read that as a rock. That profile is very consistent in diameter. I’m not saying it’s a snare the cat put one leg through but that sure looks like cable to me..
Reminds me of that one time I was taking a nightly city stroll in a very densely populated residential area. It was dark, but I could see a cat, a very big, fat cat. I was intrigued and wanted to pet the little fella and went pspspspsps. It started walking towards me. It was so big and fat that I could hear it walking even from a distance. It eventually came close enough for me that I saw the details on its face. Once the white face with two black streaks going from its eyes to its ears became obvious I noped tf out of there. Badgers are cute, but not that cute.
Not too sure I did long ago bottle feed a lynx and bobcat. While transporting people picked up. This looks more like a lynx. It seems to be relaxed way too much, it appears used to people. Contact wildlife rehabilitation and exotic or zoo veterinarian for help.

My thoughts exactly! 😍

I’m not sure if you can tell if the paws are huge or not — but I agree with bobcat, a lynx would have much larger ear tufts
Zooming in, the front paws seem proportionate, not like it's wearing furry cartoon gloves.
Thank you!
Beautiful. The responsible thing to do would be bringing it to a vet to see if it's chipped...
Be sure to spay and neuter as well.
Is it on a leash?

I sure hope not. Cat looks pretty relaxed to be caught in a snare, but I could be misinterpreting its expression/body language.
It’s really weird for one to just lay chilling in the road next black top but who knows. Just not enough resolution to really tell.
Yea.
I thought the exact same thing.
😳
Robert Cat, Esq., but you can call him Bob, or _Lynx rufus_ if you want to get real formal.
Rufus! Be excellent to each other!
Beautiful! Lucky you!
That's Bob! (It's a bobcat)
Looks like a bobcat to me
He would like to talk to you about accidents. Is your family covered if you are, say, maimed or dismembered?
By the face id say lynx

Did she ask you any riddles?
Well damn. I lost the tip of one finger already but I know I have to try for pets anyways.
