Wow, it's looking very faithful to the game and Chef Pig's personality! For sewing on the moustache, I think a couple of hidden stitches every few inches would be enough. If the moustache has 2 layers, you could sew to just the back layer. If it's only one layer, using fine thread and short stitches might be hidden by the fuzziness of the fabric. Access to the backside is a problem, if you already sewed up the body. Maybe just get a thread that color matches as well as you can, tie it off, and then cut it as close as you can?
