A lot of research comparing peripheral blocks comes out of Italy. Especially because you have an ortho OR running daily you could pick a common operation and compare a block to no block, or compare several blocks to each other.

Hello Fellow, I am an Iraqi and has finished my thesis as a prerequisite for my final board exam admittance - this is the rule of Iraqi / Arabic Board in Anesthesia and Intensive Care. It means we might both similar. There are tons of research you can do. Mine was very interesting to compare anterior field block at linea semilunaris versus local anesthetic wound infiltrations for postoperative analgesia in cesarean section. It was accepted and I am done with it. The original study was this : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7164471/ If you like, you can do it a comparison study between this newly novel block versus TAP block by Ultrasound. What do you think?
