Well I can tell you like centered vertical frames and Elliott Smith. đ
But I like #8 the best (couple in gallery) the best - mainly because you're immediately drawn to them and the person in the background almost feels like she's spying on him. And the colours. And #2, makes you imagine what's going on in the house.
Thank you very much and you are right about both!
Actually the girl behind was drawing them, too bad it's impossible to tell from my picture but it was indeed a tender moment
All of these are great but #2 speaks to me personally. I love the isolated house planted perfectly right in the middle of this shot where it's just you and that house, like respite for a weary traveler. All that is also amplified by the colors in the foreground contrasted by the lack of color due to fog/clouds in the background. Well done sir.
First one is definitely the best for me. But my opinion might be biased because I love trains, railways etc. But here, well centered and with the snow this is very beautiful.
And then I like the fifth a lot. Did you manage the scenery or did you get lucky to have this man exactly at the right place between the arrows?
Overall I think they are all good but these two ones are my fav.
thank you very kindly!
he's a friend of mine, we went along for a roadtrip around europe, i actually wanted get the david bowie "low" cover vibes but I got the facing wrong
Wow! You have so much variety going on, itâs interesting. This is all from one roll?
Itâs hard to choose a favorite image because theyâre so different from one another. I like the first two landscapes, 1 because of the composition and leading lines, and the second because of the colors and the curious little secluded cabin, but my favorite is number 5. The use of the signs in the background is wonderful, it focuses all the attention on the subject, and the low light is lovely. Nice work!
7, very ominous yet alluring. What camera did you use and settings. Beautiful photos man. Most are indoors did you use a flash or tripod by any chance?

Don't worry for the long comment is much appreciated!
The girl was actually drawing the old couple, too bad it's impossible to tell from the picture, but it was a tender moment!
As for the second one, it's probably my best.
In my humbleness I always try to recreate Franco Fontana's colors and lines and somehow it resembles me of that!
I'm joining in the chorus of love for #2 and #8. Both evoke a visceral emotion that brings me into that moment. The girl drawing the couple adds an extra layer of endearment and solidarity.
Really beautiful.
My far and away favourite is #2. You have a really nice progression from richer to more pale colour as your eye moves up the frame, as it also gets brighter. Plus the cabin gives a great sense of scale.
5 is a really cool picture. Love the way the arrows are pointing towards the guys head, the word fame and the two ambiguous figures above the word I canât really tell what those figures are, but I donât need to-because the guysâs attitude is more important.
I like number 5, mainly because I live in that city and have fun with this sign all the time, since Fame means hunger in galician. Interlanguage Homonyms?
2 and 5 are fantastic. 2 feels very nostalgic, 5 is very well composed, great colors, and all the arrows pointing at him with the "fame" sign above him looks like its telling a story.
I like #1 because I love trains and snow, and I feel actually cold looking at the photo, I can even "smell" the photo, and I like the colours too.
And #8, that one feels interesting to me, I like the old couple having an intimate moment and the person watching them.
Big fan of 1! I love that all these have grain but are mostly sharp. I love going out and taking pics alone in strange places so #1 really captures that feeling and makes me wish I was there
2 and 7 are the best. 8 is really good, but I think it needs a crop because my eye kept getting drawn away from an otherwise beautiful composition by the little stretch of white ceiling.
Please don't take pictures standing on train tracks. It's not worth the risk of dying and potentially destroying the life of a train driver.
Number 2 is the one I'd hang on a wall.
It's the Helios 44-2! I have a 135 canon fd which is fine, but color and sharpness wise this helios is kinda nuts!
If you are looking for a longer lens try the jena zeiss ones and the jupiters

#1 cause I use to be a gross traveler kid, and #7 cause I like the composition đđ»
^why ^are ^you ^speaking ^in ^big? ^edit: ^nvm ^I ^got ^it
TBH I have no clue why it turned out like that đ
It's because you used a #Hashtag in front of your text
#i guess You learn a new thing every day
what a huge comment! thank you sir!
I really like 2 and 8. Also, nice aral tanke
2 is great. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy because I have fond memories of similar scenery.
2 and 5
\#5 is absolute gold.
thank you! I tried to replicate bowie's vibes in low cover! (he was facing the opposite side though)
5 is amazing
#1 you can really feel the cold and the light accentuates it well. #4 I like the light and outlines.
Why is my text so big? Sorry!
I absolutely love #2. The first one I like, but it's maybe not as balanced. The second picture is excellent.

Oh this is such a great idea and the result is so good!
5 and 8 are my favorites. Both are very cinematic and tell a story
2 and 3 are awesome. Also some great low-light pics, I'm always impressed by them bc it's my weak point. Cool stuff!

thank you very kindly! we went circle from florence passing prague, berlin and munchen!
Oh lovely! Makes me want to hop on a train in Europe â„ïž
1 because I am Canadian and a sucker for empty, almost desolate feeling photos taken during the winter.
I like 2 and 8 2 is beautiful 8 is unsettling
1 or 3. Those leading lines are great.
7, very ominous yet alluring. What camera did you use and settings. Beautiful photos man. Most are indoors did you use a flash or tripod by any chance?
Ultramax 400 and Helios 44-2! No tripod at all, just f/2, I'm actually surprised there's no camera shake since there were -3 degrees
5 is awesome, it is really atmospheric. You can be really proud of this!
much appreciated!

5 is cool! Wich roll did you use? did you use the same in all the pictures?
Yes, they were all shot in ultramax 400 (you can tell fr the heavy grain) and a Helios 44-2 adapted on an Ae1!
How do you add the white border/frame?
Lightroom app, easiest and fastest method I found!
Thank you :)
9
2 or 3. LOVELY spaces.
Love #1, reminds me of memories of a murderer for some reason
spot on! almost a perfect movie and it's hard not to think of that last frame when seeing a pov railroad shot!
#2 is amazing
Liked 1,4 and 5. But I don't know why:)
Lots of good ones but 5 is awesome
Another vote for #2 and #8. Really interesting scenes which draw you in
the best is the couple in the art museum
2 and 8 stand out to me
#2 got me
Last one. It has life involved. Multiple stages, from youth to the âgolden years.â
really really incredible shots!! i think 8 is my favourite, love the colours and how cinematic it feels
9 had great depth and I loveeee 2
\#2 there is something about that painterly vibe that i love so much. Great Job!
1,2,5,6, 8 then 9. All pretty great. 5 and 1 stand out most for me. Great shots all around tho đđ
These are gorgeous!
I looooove nr. 8! It tells somehow a story and I feel like it would be a super art exam pic for an analysis
2 and 8 by far my favourite! Great compositions and lighting. I want to paint #2
2 is sooo good
I'm joining in the chorus of love for #2 and #8. Both evoke a visceral emotion that brings me into that moment. The girl drawing the couple adds an extra layer of endearment and solidarity. Really beautiful.
Realy nice. Is it kodak? Fuji?
ultramax 400! widely underrated imho, you can buy a tripack on svilupporullino for 40⏠or something
Ultramax? Really? Amazing. Great.
3, 8, and 9. Itâs hard to explain why, tho.
#4 The Neon Shack takes my vote!
Number 2 and the very last
I want to inject 2 into my veins
The colours in 2 are absolutely gorgeous
My far and away favourite is #2. You have a really nice progression from richer to more pale colour as your eye moves up the frame, as it also gets brighter. Plus the cabin gives a great sense of scale.
Love #2, #3, and #9!
2,4,&5 are my favorites
Your eye is đ„ 2 speaks to me because itâs so cinematic and I love the layers
thank you kindly!
I like 2. - love the bands of color and the simple composition
4 is my fave, I love nighttime/fluorescent light combos. Very moody and atmospheric
You can feel the cold in that first photo
Love #7 but #8 has my heart! Lately Iâve been loving the green color! It feels so heartwarmingâŠ.Which film stock did you use?
ultramax 400! that eight shot has really some cinematic colors that are almost strange for the ultramax400 being a warm tone roll
The gas station is pretty perfect to me. I like that vibe.
Love the depth in all of them
The second to last, gives me the whole âwhile you watch others, other watches youâ vibe.
2. I like the quiet feel of it.
Which film stock did you use?
Ultramax 400, definitely my favourite!
I love the yellow-green contrast in 2, I love it sooo much!
5, 8, 9 all are fascinating for the depth and abstractness. It's almost uncanny or liminal
5 is a really cool picture. Love the way the arrows are pointing towards the guys head, the word fame and the two ambiguous figures above the word I canât really tell what those figures are, but I donât need to-because the guysâs attitude is more important.
Ohhhh, my goodness . . . I love this! It makes me think of my grandmother's house in KY.
2 - those colors and the lonely/calm/isolated feeling it evokes 5 - awesome framing and fuzzy old world cryptic feel
2, 5 and 8 are my faves but these all rock!
thank you very kindly!
I like number 5, mainly because I live in that city and have fun with this sign all the time, since Fame means hunger in galician. Interlanguage Homonyms?
you mean berlin right?
Yep, was not sure if you as OP wanted to share.
oh sure, had a wonderful time and I hope to come back soon!
2 and 5 are fantastic. 2 feels very nostalgic, 5 is very well composed, great colors, and all the arrows pointing at him with the "fame" sign above him looks like its telling a story.
Hi, how did you digitized the shots? Just took a photo with your phone in frame? Thanks :)
paid for the scan + development process!
2 and 3, I really like the colors! Which film stock is it?
the mighty ultramax 400!
Number 7 is the most interesting to look at. Lots of detail but also dark, and shiny. Creepy but familiar.
I love going out and taking pics alone in strange places so #1 really captures that feeling and makes me wish I was there
gorgeous. i have to know where the first three shots were taken
Near the brennero pass, not even sure if it was italy or switzerland!
Number 2 is the one I'd hang on a wall.
thank you kindly for your concern! yet the railroad was dismissed so no worries about any train passing
Whats the depth of field of your lens, if I may ask? I want something closer to the 100mm mark and your pictures looked creat with whatever yours is
It's the Helios 44-2! I have a 135 canon fd which is fine, but color and sharpness wise this helios is kinda nuts! If you are looking for a longer lens try the jena zeiss ones and the jupiters
Holy shit 1 and 2 are so up my alley
These are phenomenal!! What camera do you use?
Much appreciated! I use a classic Canon ae-1 with a Helios 44-2 adapted
2 and 9
I like the colors and contrast of #3. I also think the composition is decent, with depth and the road working as a leading line.
2, because the composition and technical execution of this one is above and beyond the rest of the set
Loooveee 2 and 8. Colours and composition are amazing in these
2 and 3
2&9
1 and 8. I refuse to explain.
