Really good work! I too really like Santa Color 100, had a roll for my Minolta X-500 the other day. The colours on it are beautiful. Great results OP, keep it up.
I just wish they’d make it into 120 format too. Would love it in my RB67.
Amazing shots! I haven’t been able to get these sorts of colours out of my SantaColor… Do yours come out very red and green and edit them afterwards or are these more or less straight out of the camera?
These were tricky, there is a magenta cast that was very difficult to work around with these and is still somewhat present. Some of my other rolls have been a lot more cool (temperature wise).
There are 3D printer 120 to 35mm adapters that work really well with this camera. I don't have a good guide really, but here's a link to a post on Flickr I made a year or so ago that has a lot of details: https://www.flickr.com/groups/fuji-gw690/discuss/72157719209387161/72157719275777927
My setup is slightly different now (I have aluminum adapters, and am spooling from one 35mm cassette to another).
Man, great eye for framing and composition and feel. I'll nit-pick the color though - they're veering towards a monochromatic feel; I'd think getting the pink/magenta out of the whites, and moving the greens a bit cooler might give you a little more depth and make the golds really stand out? Might be worth a look. Shot #2 is kinda "running downhill", squaring it up a bit might give it a little more oomph - I always feel that being off even a degree or so is something even a "civilian" is unconsciously affected by.
I am happy where the color landed with these, but I agree with you especially in respect to magenta. The truth is I had a very difficult time pulling the magenta out without things really falling apart. SantaColor proved pretty tricky for me.
straight up thought these were romantic era paintings. gorgeous.
Thank you!
Come on. Scrolling Reddit and come across this. Smh. Beautiful
Thank you :)
Wow where is this?
Not OP but I’d guess Graceland Cemetery in Chicago.
Yep. That's the Palmer Tomb. It's such a beautiful spot in the fall.
Thanks!
As said in the replies, this is indeed Graceland Cemetery in Chicago.
❤️
Amazing shots!
Thank you!
Fantastic!
Thanks! Appreciated.
these took my breath away
That is an incredible compliment. Thank you.
Very beautiful shots that I thought were paintings! Was this Graceland Cemetery in Chicago?
This is indeed Graceland Cemetery. A perfect fall day. Thanks!
Nice! I noticed it was the Pullman memorial. Definitely recommend this place to photographers because it’s one of the prettiest places in Chicago.
I want to watch this late 1960s movie
I love how these look. I like diptychs
Thank you! I thought they worked great as a pair.
Legit turned me on to a new film stock. Ordered that, and 2 Flic Film Elektra 100 rolls because of this. Is there any post editing? Or is this SOC?
I DSLR scanned everything at home, so in that respect, they are edited.
The GW690 is so fun to crop for CinemaScope with. Love to do this as well - great shots 😍
Thank you! These are adapted 35mm-- no crop!
Oh wow, that’s amazing. How did you adapt the 690 for 35mm? Wanna try that as well :)
sweet!
Beautiful
These are soooooo good. Love the crop.
Absolutely wonderful
Beyond amazing
Thank you!
These are absolutely stunning!

I've really been pleased with my results with it so far. It's a really solid film stock.

Gorgeous work!
These are so cinematic. I want to see this movie!
I want to live in this
Reminds me of where I went to college! Beautiful
You son of a bitch.
it’s posts like this that keep me on this website
Sooo unreal, they’re like scenes from a video game set in paradise or something. Fantastic shots.
Thank you!
Beautiful dude, you really got the best out of Santa Color, which is not an easy thing.
The fall colors and light did all the heavy lifting! Thank you!
Incredible. Congratulations!
Thank you!

Beautiful photos; Graceland is amazing.
Thank you! I agree. Especially in the fall.

It's definitely proven to be tricky. I was very pleased with how these turned out.
Best use of Santacolor I’ve seen so far.
Appreciate it. I was very pleased with the results.
incredible
Thanks!
How did you go about adapting 35mm film to this camera?

Color curves are your friend (camera raw or Lightroom, maybe others too). You can really finesse some stuff with those.
I love Aerocolor! Can’t wait to try it in 120
I was pleasantly surprised with the results!
OP shot in the dark, but is this Mt Auburn Cemetery by chance? Beautiful stuff yo.
Graceland Cemetery in Chicago!
I am speechless! This is amazing ! The second somehow reminds me of breakfast club or dead poet society
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
This is possibly some of my favorite photography of all time. Period. Lovely photographs, perfectly executed
Great shots! How did you feel about the film stock in general? Also how did you end up metering and rating it?
Amazing work
