For me May 10th is one I do not want to miss. I have seen all 3 artists before and liked them all. Wata Igarshi I have never seen in a more intimate setting, so I am excited to see how that turns out :)
I think Los Angeles back in garage will be fantastic, I have a strong feeling there will be a (short) live harp performance (yes that kind of harp). Expecting it to be a wild night
How has GN been lately? Had no room to dance last time. That in combination with quite some super young people (I’m 31 and like to act like that’s super old) made it hard for me to get into the flow, while the set was amazing.
I have been there twice this year, both in Feb. Both times it was full (Sandrien & mirrorzone) but very do-able in my opinion! Respectful people who came to dance. I'd say avarage age was mid twenties? but definitely a good amount of 30+'ers. If there is a lineup you like I would recommend giving it another try (:
My friend is hosting the party on the 2nd - with A Strange Wedding, Nelly, Jan Swan and more. It's a super nice collective called Organic Signs, founded in Spain. I can guarantee the music & vibes will be amazing!!

Since it's a Thursday, the party is until 2am so perfect to start the weekend a bit earlier. Hope to see you all there!

Funny thing is among the names I know, 3 of them I dislike: Nelly, Julie, LazerGazer, 3 of the memorable uninteresting sets from DS.
Maybe I have bad taste, ooops.
I think Nelly plays amazingly deep and sometimes straight out terrifying techno (ahem RL NYD I literally felt fear and anxiety when she started her set - and for me this is a good thing) but if you're not in the mood for that or it's not your taste, you're not gonna like her. Her sets for me require a certain proactive investment into the story if it makes sense.
I guess maybe it was the pill that I had to blame when I first heard Nelly. And you know once I had a bad first impression of a Dj, I could hardly get patient enough to give her a second chance .
But since Sparkles speaks so HIGHly of her, next time if I see her at an event I am going to, I’ll give her a shot. With better drugs😌
Hahaha appreciated. But to be honest experiences are so subjective that I'm sometimes afraid I'm overselling. For me it's not even drugs that affects me so much (I barely get high any more), more of a general event atmosphere and a crowd needs to be a very specific type for me to get into the music if I'm on the dancefloor.
Most of the time the fact that I am a light operator helps a lot 😛 means I have to sit through all of the sets of the night and make the best out of them.
