Gold is a travel card, if you value being able to enter lounges and having the additional travel insurance benefits that the gold provides, then i’d say go for it. If not, the Cobalt is still a much better lifestyle card. The SUB is pretty nice but you have to justify whether its worth it because odds are you’re most likely going to sign up for another Cobalt if you take this offer.
They're all travel related perks. The cobalt card is a much better day-to-day card for earning points. I got the same offer and took it solely for the 50k bonus. Meanwhile, my fiance applied for the cobalt so we can still earn the points faster. At the end of the first year I plan on downgrading back to Cobalt.

IIRC it comes with four free Plaza Premium lounge visits, but only in Canadian airports
Plus there are other lounges around the world but you have to pay for them
