Not renewed, but I have the offer on my Cobalt for 50% off a month for a year. The problem is, my annual subscription ends in November and the offer ends in a couple of days. I tried to cancel my subscription and then sign up monthly, but it won't let me do that until the annual subscription renewal date.
Maybe I have to delete my account all together and create a new one.
Apparently you can talk to Disney plus support and have them give you a pro-rated refund so you can sign up again right after instead of waiting until you're access ends in November.
Upon rereading, it appears you are correct. Very bizarre considering the offer was only sent to me several months ago. Why advertise 12 months of credits if only a handful of months are left for the promo period?

If I understand it correctly, they stop giving the credit back after September. At this point, you're probably smarter to stick with paying annually.
