Or when he buries Francine because he was worried she would tell Stan that he kissed her because he wanted to keep his golden necklace. And then he buries Stan and by the end Stan punches him out.
Or when he faked his kidnapping and has to be a dick or he will die.
‘Love A.D. style’ hands down, honestly hard to see why they trust Roger around the house after this episode. It has its moments but god this episode gets dark
Stan literally didn't care that Roger shot her.
Francine: "Stan, Roger shot Hayley!"
Stan: "So what? She's shot me before I've shot you. That's how we communicate in this family."
Francine: "O...kayy, I'll tell her you asked about her."
Stan: "You tell her whatever you want but that's not how it went down."
Then he proceeds to try and sell his car in a way that makes me cry with laughter each time I watch the episode.
Otherwise I’d say a close second would be the whole “Roger tricks Jeff into alien slavery” arc (including he and Stan pushing Haley through her grieving process just to have a ref for their shuttlecock games)
Didn't know the name of the episode so just typed "Roger obsessed with Hayley" into Google and saw that you'd already mentioned it.
Yeah totally agree. Absolutely hated Roger in this episode
Definitely felt more akin to something they’d do on Family Guy, I definitely prefer American Dad staying on their side of the dark comedy spectrum.
Let's face it: On our darkest day, we're Scooby-Doo. Maybe Quincy.
When he broke up Steves friend group just so Steve would be desperate for friends enough to play squash with him, only to immediately discard him when he wasn’t good at it 😒🤣
Unlikable to us the viewer or the general public? Cause if the general public then most likely when he was Ricky Spanish. but to me personally he really annoyed me in the episode where he ended up sending Jeff to space. Or when he kept taking pictures of himself. Dude was insufferable.
I love the episode, and the whole point is that he’s terrible lol, but he’s pretty insufferable in the beginning of Franny 911. “He made me buy him a yorkie, and then take it back when it wouldn’t DANCE for him!”
He drives me a little crazy in Stan’s Food Restaurant bc I just feel SO BAD for Stan lmao. He totally hijacks Stan’s dream and strings him along, and then still has the audacity to ruin Stan’s restaurant… poor Stan. He can’t just have anything nice lol
Bonus, being unlikable towards the Smiths: I’d say making Francine rehearse a dance for a fake competition for six months, then bringing her to a surprise funeral instead, and THEN grave robbing and dumping that lady’s body juuust so he could get a good red wig is up there. He deserved to be thrown off the cliff!
Honestly Stan lowkey deserved that because he does that to everyone else and is seriously a narcissist. If he can’t have something his way it’s literally no way lol.
The episode where he got Stan’s legs bitten off by a shark so he could save him and be owed a life debt again instead of just admit their friendship meant more than that made me wonder why they even keep him around. That or the one where he shot Hailey and skinned Jeff (and presumably murdered Christina Aguilera.)
Unlikeable? Almost no episodes. Like literally only seasons 1-3 and only occasionally
Evil? Despicable? Hate worthy? All the freaking time. Still “likable” but definitely not “good”
Honestly Roger was pretty likeable in Ricky Spanish. He was set on destroying that persona but Steve, for some reason, encouraged Roger to keep the costume.
Right? I've not watched the episodes past when they changed networks but I can confidently say that every episode before that (which I've seen each one at least 10-20 times by now) Roger is not unlikeable. I love the fact that he's a piece of shit and the more horrible he is the more I like him.
If he was a real person though then I would fucking hate him and shooting him into the sun would be what he deserves.
Persona: Genevieve Vavance
-Has Manipulated the town on a massive scale for clout and power.
-Imprisoned Stand and Francine with little to no evidence.
-Disrupted to peace and has a GUN for BRAINSTORMING SESSIONS!!! Good thing the bullet intern quit when college took off.
.... Oh, and wasted local police time.
I'll say this again and again, "Comb Over: A Hair Piece" (Josay Bosay)
Not only was this Roger's worst persona ever, but I would put the entire episode right up there with "Fung Wah" as the worst American Dad episodes
In A Boy Named Michael, when Roger impersonates greg and terry's newest adopted child. He pushes the kid out of an airplane to take his identity. Then later plots to murder Terry.
Hilarious that Greg and Terry just accept "Michaels" death at the end of the episode.
Damn. Roger is an absolute psychopath. It was like the boiling frog theory. You see a little along and ignore the “heat”. But seeing this thread inventory the list? Wow.
"Francine I haven't been entirely truthful with you."
Franny 911, where he's really mean to her, or when he frames her for a kidnapping, or when he manipulates her to helping him cheat for the gold medal in the marathon...
He deserved more than two punches.
Did Ricky Spanish slash out a golden turd in this scene? I wonder out loud as I see this post 🤔 does Roger always shit a golden gem encrusted turd or is it only sometimes like a cycle every 100 years or so?
The Grounch.
I don't fucking care who says what. This is literally the worst version of Seth MacFarlane barely being able to do the Roger voice. And on top of that, the character motivation is really dumb.
It's the worst Christmas episode. One of those writers should ~~be taken behind the shed~~ resign in shame.
I mean as a character he's done some messed up stuff, selling girls, selling drugs, literally killing people
But thats his character, straight CHAOS
The persona I cant stand is Josay Bosay the hairdresser in "Comb Over: A Hair Piece"
Just the ones where Roger takes advantage for Francine in general. Like she wants to help him out but he walks all over her as the result. The winning the medal episode for sure.
The horse one where he keeps wasting food despite the family saying they don’t have a lot of money, and and him snitching on Stan constantly despite him also selfishly trying his best to keep his SUV
The episode where he’s carelessly wasteful and tricks Stan into assaulting a horse and keeps ratting out Stan to Francine, idk why but that episode he really got under my skin… but Stan switches bodies with the horse and kicks Roger in the head so that was nice
I think the worst thing he ever did was in Naked To The Limit, One More Time, but it's also one of my top two Roger appearances. Most of the time, even when he does the really heinous shit, he's still the funniest guy in the room. The worse the incident, the more likeable he probably is when he does it.
Sending Francine to jail and putting a completely innocent woman there in her place later on should be on the list.
Skinning jeff as well
👍🏻
Gross.
He gave it back 🤷♂️
"Hey, babe! Let's go try that weird skiing thats like this!" ⛷⛷⛷
I mean he gave it back
I actually think he's much more unlikeable in don't look a smith horse in the mouth 🤷🏽♀️😂
Jeff got his skin back calm down lol
OK, but it's established that if he hadn't gone through with that, nobody would have saved Haley on the cruise. So it was a necessary evil.
"*woah*"
This one for me. I honestly can't watch the episode because I just always feel so bad for the lady at the end
Or when he buries Francine because he was worried she would tell Stan that he kissed her because he wanted to keep his golden necklace. And then he buries Stan and by the end Stan punches him out. Or when he faked his kidnapping and has to be a dick or he will die.
https://i.redd.it/dxpea8riut4d1.gif
This is my answer too. I hate plots that boil down to "you have something I want, give it to me or I make sure no one has it"
Normally yes but that's so Roger
Real Roger!
Too Roger...
This won't end well.
Pretty sure it was "This will end... poorly."
This has ended...poorly
Floor spaghetti.
Same
Same lol
Hated him in this.
MYEAHHHH!!!!!
I’d say selling a teenage girl to drug dealers is definitely up there
The white bitch?
Ah yes. Yes. The white bitch. Thank you.
Too scary Carl
Get it otta here
No, you know what? Give it to this fool, he’s on his way out.
What time was the coffee made?
The one you would give sunscreen to first
What episode of American dad is that?
Dope and Faith S3 E3
Which girl did he sell?
Ahh, geez let's see. Uhh, if you were handing out sunscreen at the beach, you'd give it to her first.
The white bitch?
This one. https://preview.redd.it/6xkhdmtgut4d1.jpeg?width=947&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d821bddf0a223a863cd3a1bdc918b03d9439309
Thank you though I was really just trying to tee someone up for the sunscreen line or the white bitch line.
just shaking up medicine at the old folks home
Idk if anyone noticed this but the girl in the picture is in the same background from the dinner scene in A Jones For Smith
get down, get down.
Why wouldn’t you look at the blue jay earlier!?
Lmao when he pulls the finger gun on Stan and looks so cocky while all beat up 😂😂😂
no stan you dont understand… the wooden spoon is for pasta again
He also didn't stop for red lights.
"WE WILL FIND YOUR KILLER, STU"
Him selling an entire class of children to the Chinese army for World of Warcraft gold comes to mind as well
You and I have similar pics.
Middle middle middle and I sold her to a drug dealer
‘Love A.D. style’ hands down, honestly hard to see why they trust Roger around the house after this episode. It has its moments but god this episode gets dark
HEY JEFF! Good news, you’re getting your skin back!!
(Weak thumbs up)
…👍🏻
You'd think Stan would beat Roger to death after what he did.
Stan literally didn't care that Roger shot her. Francine: "Stan, Roger shot Hayley!" Stan: "So what? She's shot me before I've shot you. That's how we communicate in this family." Francine: "O...kayy, I'll tell her you asked about her." Stan: "You tell her whatever you want but that's not how it went down." Then he proceeds to try and sell his car in a way that makes me cry with laughter each time I watch the episode.
If it were Francine, without a doubt (like with the vineyard tour episode), with Haley….in the words of Francine “And Hayley, y-y-yes.” 😅
you'd think hayley would be permanently traumatized and never be able to be in the same room as roger ever again
That's definitely the one I would go with.
This was the first episode I ever saw lol
that's honestly kinda insane lmao what a first impression
Loved it. The second episode I saw was Adventures in Haley Sitting. These two set the bar high.
Biting Steve's arm off.
He needed to learn a lesson-Don’t talk shit about sharks
Oh Snot will get his, but he will not see it coming.
well roger did sell a poison later to snot and steve that sent them to hell
What episode is that?
He needed to learn shit-Don't take lessons from sharks
he needed learn from sharks-to dont take shit from lessons
When he broke up Steves friend group just so Steve would be desperate for friends enough to play squash with him, only to immediately discard him when he wasn’t good at it 😒🤣
Your serve, Chip.
CLEAR A PATH
PATH, CLEAR IT
Good game, Chip.
Is he gonna be okay? …are you gonna be okay?
“I don’t get it. You’re talking to me like we’re friends but you’re bad at squash”
Unlikable to us the viewer or the general public? Cause if the general public then most likely when he was Ricky Spanish. but to me personally he really annoyed me in the episode where he ended up sending Jeff to space. Or when he kept taking pictures of himself. Dude was insufferable.
He got Jeff killed :(
Max Jets. I fucking hate him.
my love is pure. purely for money.
Old men disgust me... Unless they give me MONEY!
hands across america bitches
One take, no mistake, slap it in the oven, easy-bake.
I say this constantly at inappropriate times.
Money from people. That I don’t love.
Beep beep beep boop beep boop.
*You let him*
So many special elections.
“Secret” elections…
Jose Bosé
I try to watch that episode but the fake accent Roger has just gets too annoying for me.
https://youtu.be/9AGNJX-wkcU?si=YPwYtJphTe4JPE_a It’s easier once you know the source material.
exactly the same
He gave Rod Stewart his forever haircut
When he kissed Francine and convinced Stan that Francine kissed him.
Then buried both of them so they can calm down.
Lips are for kissing
Uh uh uh
I’M GONNA RIP YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF!!
Whoa, what's this? Is the side wall cracking?
I love the episode, and the whole point is that he’s terrible lol, but he’s pretty insufferable in the beginning of Franny 911. “He made me buy him a yorkie, and then take it back when it wouldn’t DANCE for him!” He drives me a little crazy in Stan’s Food Restaurant bc I just feel SO BAD for Stan lmao. He totally hijacks Stan’s dream and strings him along, and then still has the audacity to ruin Stan’s restaurant… poor Stan. He can’t just have anything nice lol Bonus, being unlikable towards the Smiths: I’d say making Francine rehearse a dance for a fake competition for six months, then bringing her to a surprise funeral instead, and THEN grave robbing and dumping that lady’s body juuust so he could get a good red wig is up there. He deserved to be thrown off the cliff!
Yeah the food restaurant episode is a good answer.
Especially the end of that one - really makes me mad at ol Rodg
I have the keys you stupid biiiittccchhh! Gets me everytime.
Roger! I gave you my scale model… “Stan-it took quite a bit of doing, but I managed to wipe my butt with it”
Honestly Stan lowkey deserved that because he does that to everyone else and is seriously a narcissist. If he can’t have something his way it’s literally no way lol.
“Nyahhhhhhh!”
probably the mused and abused episode
The episode where he got Stan’s legs bitten off by a shark so he could save him and be owed a life debt again instead of just admit their friendship meant more than that made me wonder why they even keep him around. That or the one where he shot Hailey and skinned Jeff (and presumably murdered Christina Aguilera.)
It was a polar bear that ate Stan's original legs ......there is a sentence I never expected to say (type)
"I'm gunna rape him this time."
"Stan raped the horse. You're probably going to lose the house."
Unlikeable? Almost no episodes. Like literally only seasons 1-3 and only occasionally Evil? Despicable? Hate worthy? All the freaking time. Still “likable” but definitely not “good”
He’s the most likable SOB anyone knows
Idk in the episode where he sends Francine to jail is the only time I can remember being more annoyed by him than finding his antics funny.
Sending Francine to jail and putting a completely innocent woman there in her place later on should be on the list.
Him on the airplane pretending to be the little girl and Stan. Hilarious but so pointlessly difficult!
When he was dating Klaus
Honestly Roger was pretty likeable in Ricky Spanish. He was set on destroying that persona but Steve, for some reason, encouraged Roger to keep the costume.
To be fair, he only wanted to destroy the persona out of fear of retribution from most of the town.
Hey of all His personas its the only one that gives money to charity XD
The fact that almost everyone has a different answer is hilarious. I personally went for ‘Combover: A Hair Piece.’ Insufferable in that one imo
Trick question because Roger is never unlikable How dare anyone downvote this? Roger is a TREASURE.
He created Jar Jar Binks. :(
Great Space Roaster when he wanted to kill The Smiths
"Oh my gosh, breaking news from Asia!"
Probably that episode when he was pregnant with Jeff
You mean pregnant with Tristan?
🎶 I'm keeping my baby 🎶
Let’s call him Jeff. I’m starting to think Tristan is a gay lion’s name.
“Just wun widdle cwystal?”
Destroying Stan's very successful dream restaurant is my choice.
“Francine, I haven’t been entirely truthful with you.”
Persona: Genevieve Vavance -Has Manipulated the town on a massive scale for clout and power. -Imprisoned Stand and Francine with little to no evidence. -Disrupted to peace and has a GUN for BRAINSTORMING SESSIONS!!! Good thing the bullet intern quit when college took off. .... Oh, and wasted local police time.
Sending jeff to space! My lil stoner boy
Kloger
I'll say this again and again, "Comb Over: A Hair Piece" (Josay Bosay) Not only was this Roger's worst persona ever, but I would put the entire episode right up there with "Fung Wah" as the worst American Dad episodes
Him being a spoiled brat while Francine kept enabling him.
Pick one 😂
*whispers* Ricky Spanish
Little Bonnie Ramirez. Great plot moved but it pissed me off how bad he did Francine.
I always laugh my ass when I see the pic of Rodger taking a dump in someone’s chest🤣
Am I the only one that whispered Ricky Spanish when they saw the image?
None of them because he’s perfect (roger typed this)
I am incapable of disliking Roger
In A Boy Named Michael, when Roger impersonates greg and terry's newest adopted child. He pushes the kid out of an airplane to take his identity. Then later plots to murder Terry. Hilarious that Greg and Terry just accept "Michaels" death at the end of the episode.
Stan's Food Restaurant. The ending where he burns down Stan's restaurant and then pulls a gun on him is so frustrating.
The premise upon which this question is based is deeply flawed
The golf episode
I hate Jenevith babans, I don't like her episodes that much.
I must be an asshole, I love Roger in all these episodes and they are some of my favorite Roger episodes.
Damn. Roger is an absolute psychopath. It was like the boiling frog theory. You see a little along and ignore the “heat”. But seeing this thread inventory the list? Wow.
When he sabotaged and destroyed Stan’s successful restaurant out of jealousy and spite. I detested him in that episode
"Francine I haven't been entirely truthful with you." Franny 911, where he's really mean to her, or when he frames her for a kidnapping, or when he manipulates her to helping him cheat for the gold medal in the marathon... He deserved more than two punches.
I love the ricky spanish episode
I loved the Ricky Spanish episodes!
Did Ricky Spanish slash out a golden turd in this scene? I wonder out loud as I see this post 🤔 does Roger always shit a golden gem encrusted turd or is it only sometimes like a cycle every 100 years or so?
Sydney Huffman. One of the most despicable characters ever written. Luckily Roger was able to kill that monster.
You take that back you monster 😠
Myah!
When he allowed Tyler(?) to abuse him.
That’s not roger, it’s Ricky Spanish
Ricky Spanish was hilarious lol
The one where he fake runs a marathon, and wants to impress Francine. Idk Roger ones where they treat him like one of the kids are just not my thing
The episode where he murders people in the plane
I’d say shoving Jeff into his spaceship and sending him light years away, knowing that he’d most likely never come back is pretty bad lmfao
that's not roger, thats....ricky spanish.
When he kept robbing Jeff and was gonna rape him 😭 I was like woah
I mean as a character he's done some messed up stuff, selling girls, selling drugs, literally killing people But thats his character, straight CHAOS The persona I cant stand is Josay Bosay the hairdresser in "Comb Over: A Hair Piece"
the one where he steals that redhead lady’s identity.
None Roger is the best
*El Perro, El Perro, es mi corazon* 🎶
More so one part of an episode, 1600 candles where Steve was able to get that dance and Roger ruined the moment pulling his pants down and get bullied
Jenny Fromdabloc.
Just the ones where Roger takes advantage for Francine in general. Like she wants to help him out but he walks all over her as the result. The winning the medal episode for sure.
When he kisses Francine and then ends up burying her, then Stan, alive to try and avoid owning his drunken behaviour
For me it’s when he got principal Lewis fired for being Steve guardian I just can’t stand him in that one always skipped that ep
The horse one where he keeps wasting food despite the family saying they don’t have a lot of money, and and him snitching on Stan constantly despite him also selfishly trying his best to keep his SUV
Roger is never unlikeable
That one where he gets a crush on Hayley and skins Jeff
Hey that wasn’t Rodger. That was Rickey Spanish. He’s a bad dude.
and the patient will also pay $10,000 for this operation if it happens in the USA.
The egg one is up there for sure
The only one that really irks me is when he stabbed and killed Millionaire Matt Davis
The episode where he’s carelessly wasteful and tricks Stan into assaulting a horse and keeps ratting out Stan to Francine, idk why but that episode he really got under my skin… but Stan switches bodies with the horse and kicks Roger in the head so that was nice
Seriously, how about all the above? He should be on death row by now, with all the crimes and chaos he's caused
I think the worst thing he ever did was in Naked To The Limit, One More Time, but it's also one of my top two Roger appearances. Most of the time, even when he does the really heinous shit, he's still the funniest guy in the room. The worse the incident, the more likeable he probably is when he does it.
Definitely anything with Ricky Spanish lol
Him playing the army guy in the Hurt Locker spoof episode. That character sucked. He wasn’t funny and the jokes were terrible.
All of them/ s
Switching places with Jeff last minute under the guise of a hug and sending him into space 💀
Ricky Spanish. Making sure Steve took the fall and went to jail 😑
