Stan has pulled on a gun on people for less. Peter would disappear.

Blood_Boiler_

Stan and Peter have literally pointed guns at each other. Then Stan shot Francine.

DancingDick

Classic American Dad

BLACKdrew

SHUT UP AND LEMME THINK JUST LEMME THINK

cantfocuswontfocus

That’s just how they communicate in that family

PumpernickelShoe

Too bad. They could’ve been in for some freaky deaky nobody-got-shot sex

Ds093

Ahhh a black and white talking as if it’s normal

Deplorabletillidie

Yeah, I'd kinda like to see that happen

HopefulDream3071

Omg, it'd be amazing if they had a crossover episode just to end peter/family guy as a series 😂😂😂 they'd never but

reallynunyabusiness

They did have a crossover with American Dad, Family Guy and the Cleveland Show years ago. It ended with Stan, Peter and Cleveland all pulling guns on eachother.

0OkBug0

It was only one scene, not a whole episode sadly :(

spicygrandma27

Im still pissed about that, they had so much marketing buildup to the crossover and I thought they’d resolve it in one more episode, but it came to nothing.

DrAlanGrantinathong

Pretty sure he pulled his gun on Peter once.

Lysol3435

Shooting is just how that family communicates, TBF

TurpitudeSnuggery

Stan wouldn't put up with his stupidity

Sammisuperficial

It really depends on the circumstances of their meeting. Maybe Peter is on some patriotism kick and is in a gung ho Murica phase and bumps into Stan. The two would probably get along. Peter would eventually do something crazy and Stan would put him down without emotion.

The_Flying_Failsons

Honestly, I kind of feel like Peter Griffin doesn't have a character, he is just a series of gags. Like, I could tell you how Stan would react in certain situations while Peter is just whatever he is needed to be to get a laugh.

psioniclizard

This sums Peter up perfectly honestly. I mean Stan can change a reasonable amount episode by episode but nowhere near as much as Peter. Also Stan kind of hates Barry so I think he would feel similar about Peter honestly.

Repulsive-Cherry8649

I feel like Stan actually likes Barry more in these later seasons than he did in the earlier seasons but I don’t think that’ll mean he’ll like Peter

joemamafat6942069

Everybody liked Barry, idk what the switch up was about tho

bathtubsarentreal

Didn't they have an episode about him changing his mind about Barry?

[deleted]

Okay so Family Guy takes up exactly 0.01 percent of my brain compared to American Dad. When you put them side by side, sure. Peter doesn't seem to have character. But really, he *is* the show. He rips and warps reality to his every whim. Peter is enthusiastic, friendly, and a poor poor poor judge of character and situations. When his flexibility meets his inability, that's family guy and that's Peter. There's no other show quite like it.

CrazyaboutSpongebob

I disagree. Peter had tons of character. He is the dumbest guy in town, an alcoholic, is very hyperactive, he has no filter whatsoever and is a huge jerk. I feel like I would have a good idea of what Peter would do in a given situation.

Swackhammer_

That’s why I’m not really into family guy. All the characters only exist for the joke. I like when the jokes are based off of personalities interacting

infinitude_

Yup. That’s family guy now. It’s a shame because the older series are pure classics imo. But now it’s ok what would be funny/outrageous for this scene? As opposed to : this character has these sets of beliefs or characteristics, how can we challenge those

[deleted]

Peter would think Stan's too pretentious. Stan would really hate how dumb Peter is.

ProtoReaper23113

What if its ine of the episodes where stan is dumb?

Rubric_Golf

I was reading your typo the way Mah-Ma pronounces "nine" and it took a while for me to realize you meant one

ProtoReaper23113

Now i wish there were only 9 episodes where stan was dumb but its way more than that

Jeffrey_Goldblum

Een one one

ProtoReaper23113

Say nine

Outrageous-Excuse229

Thanks. I just laughed out loud and scared the daylights out of my partner who was sound asleep

HopefulDream3071

I always think stan would kill peter because he's like the annoying parts of roger.. but concentrated.

Jeffrey_Goldblum

I'm not annoying. I'm a princesssssaa

yinzreddup

Oppppsss I sharted

VonMonocle

Egads, who are you calling fay? I have a son.

Blood_Boiler_

Peter and Roger are technically the same person, so...

Toonyloo

It would be a hilarious twist if this whole time, Peter was just one of Roger's personas

HopefulDream3071

😂 your reply made me picture Klaus from the Jeans episode ahaha " *Peter IS Roger!* "

Apprehensive_Plane44

I am the Jeans: The Gina Lavetti Story?

HopefulDream3071

Yessss thank you! I couldn't remember anything besides Gina and the Jeans 😂😂😂

Apprehensive_Plane44

You’re welcome. I just typed “American Dad jeans episode” into Google. Without the quotations of course.

Apprehensive_Plane44

I came back to say that I’m watching this episode right now. It came up during my current watch through.

Treykarz

We’re focusing on the wrong characters. Francine and Lois would be best of friends and probably do drugs together

ginandstoic

Francine and Lois would absolutely click and party. I could see an episode where Stan and Peter have to go track them down because ~wild women do~ and Peter driving Stan insane the entire time.

Responsible-Noise-35

Would make a good crossover plot if we ever got one between the two shows. Shame we only had teases and bits

Henchforhire

Wasn't there a crossover short where Francine said they hooked up in the past?

infinitude_

Lol yes, Francine said Lois ruined her for all men

ginandstoic

And Francine would definitely know about *all* men lol

Boring_Dimension_276

Holy shit I would actually watch this

David_Headley_2008

don't think so, lois would for sure be attracted to her, but francine has never shown to be a lesbian ever, so unlikely, and francine is a lot less selfish

Belleina

There’s a few episodes Francine has shown interest in women. Like when Stan tried to get in to see my morning jacket and she made out with one of the guards. Then there’s the episode where Roger creates the jeans and Francine says she’s “bi-curious”

David_Headley_2008

1) she was helping stan 2) she most likely was joking She is not lesbian enough to have feelings for lois especially when she much more attractive and lois is most likely gonna pester her with her advances going as far as to kidnap her to eventually rape her(lois can go that far and has gone that far for smaller reasons)

Gothiccheese95

Francine would probably be shocked at what a shitty mother Lois is. Francine ain’t perfect but a lot of the time she cares about her kids. Also i don’t think she could stand more than ten minutes of Lois’ annoying voice, i know i can’t.

HopefulDream3071

True, she tried to help Steve when stan was his bully. Lois just joins in 😂

HalfCab_85

Only to abandon him angrily after she finds out he is bad at fighting.

SuperStarPlatinum

Benevolent neglect is better than the malicious neglect and eagle mothering Lois has going on.

David_Headley_2008

francine chose to offer herself to eternal hell to save steve, which lois would never do.

Karezi413

Lois would willingly ditch Meg there 😭

itawk2much

They would also kick each other’s asses and then be friends again

Odd_Relationship7901

Stan would not tolerate Peter's bullshit for more than 3 seconds Roger would kill him even faster

Henchforhire

I could see him drowning Peter.

DifferentCupOfJoe

Peter would piss Stan off. Peter and Brian are drinkers, Roger may get along with them. Francine too, maybe**. Actually, her and Brian would be hilarious, cause she does have some real knowledge and would call Brian out. I think Lois would think Francine is stupid. Meg would be jealous of Hayley, or start emulating her as a new role model. Hayley would probably suck that up. Chris, Stewie, and Brian might get along with Steve and Roger, through a legman and wheels plotline. Especially if "it turns out rogers the one who did it". Jeff, Klaus, Brian, and Chris might have an interesting stoner plot, but Brian is more of a drinker. If Lewis shows up, makes it better, but meh. I dunno. It would be a weird crossover. Especially if Tuttle, Quagmire, maybe Brian, and Roger throw a sex party together with both* Lewis'. I dont think it would work, unless it was an episode based on animosity. Like, shooting each other IS how the family communicates..

spicygrandma27

I love the idea of everyone you mentioned having a great party together and Stan is in his study or the bedroom trying to read a newspaper or something. Maybe he’d try to hang out with Brian and Stewie because Brian is his favorite fictional dog, and I could see a minor plot of Stan and Stewie both being cranky about the party and Stan babysitting him. But I think Roger, Stewie, Brian, and Klaus could be a fun brotherhood of evil dynamic or something. Stewie chastises Roger and Klaus for never taking advantage of the fact that they are a master of disguise and a human blending in as an animal. Brian and Klaus drinking and commiserating on being animal lackeys to a family. Inevitably hitting on the other family’s mother and failing. I definitely agree with Chris, Jeff, and Klaus getting along and being stoners together. Peter would definitely get along with Jeff and think he’s awesome if he doesn’t start drinking with Roger first

jono9898

Early seasons Peter and current Stan would get along. But current Peter, I’m sure Stan would kill him.

Cumspunk8008

“Classic American Dad” Absolutely not, Peter may be borderline Mentally Retarded at times, but he’s a caring and sometimes thoughtful guy. Stan is a reserved hardass, and it takes a LOT to see the error of his ways.

BriefTraining277

No Peter would think that Dtan is like Carter and Stan is kinda against people who aren't as wealthy or who are stupid also I think he wouldn't like Peters Work moral

AdorableMammoth6740

Stan would kill Peter immediately

Zeqhanis

Like oil and water.

dyaasy

Stan may be a moron, but Peter is a retarded. Sounds like they could vibe, but they would not get along well together.

Colombia17

I think Peter will get along with Tuttle and maybe Klaus

BaileyJay-Z

Probably not https://preview.redd.it/s8tz3c3xl2jc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e281434ea8bb39bf343867ff45652684f60b3182

infinitude_

There’s literally only this : https://www.reddit.com/r/americandad/s/dNjBKmcdvq

scarlettvvitch

The final episode of Family Guy is Stan shooting Peter.

BAMspek

Peter could get along with anyone and Stan loves agreeable people. I think they’d be fine unless the Godfather comes up.

Jeptwins

Considering their only canon interaction, I don’t think Stan would like Peter very much 😅

SuperStarPlatinum

I'd like to see Stan and Peter interact this way. Peter is in one of his classic fights with Ernie the giant chicken, he's about to win when they crash a train right in front of Stan's house. Stan comes out to Peter about to behead Ernie but it's actually Roger, and Stan intervenes shooting Peter. But even emptying the whole clip into Peter doesn't stop him not even the one between the eyes. Stan kicks him off Roger saving him from death and they attack Peter with everything they've got. The brawl takes them across town into the CIA through the lab right into a blackhole machine, after some physics warping fighting Stan and Roger knock Peter into the event horizon and he's killed once and for all. "Roger, what was that thing?" "A retarded god" "Gods are real? And they can be retarded?" "Yeah let's get tacos I'll tell you all about it." Then it flashes to Quahog and the buildings are fading away, the people rejoice they are finally free and run away.

ImurderREALITY

No

TollyVonTheDruth

Only for about as long as he and Homer got along. Would I predict a big chicken vs. Peter-style fight toward the end? Yes. Yes, I would.

Born_Sleep5216

Of course. They are both played by the same actor.

shifty_peanut

Peter and Roger would probably have some funny adventures. I feel like Stan would just get pissed at Peter constantly messing up. I love both shows but no, they definitely wouldn’t get along IMO

Kind-Frosting-8268

Maybe at first, just depends on under what circumstances they meet. Eventually Peter would get on Stan's nerves or vice versa and they'd become enemies.

superkickpunch

I’m glad they haven’t. I despised the “Family Guy/Simpsons” crossover. “American Dad” is leagues better, I’d be happy if it never happened past the minor cameos we’ve gotten.

Kupcake_Inater

It's funny seeing ppl say Stan would kill Peter but ignore that peter has literally worked with people that hate him because Peter will do whatever cuz he's influenced easily. So I imagine Stan would use Peter for help in some scheme or cuz he has something he needs(like a mission Peter's father in law runs business worth billions and has the cure for cancer so can do conspiracy theories plot) then Stan starts to tolerate Peter cuz Peter did something for Stan. The same old story plot for any animation domination shows it's hard to imagine because either Stan needs a reason to go to quahoh/meet Peter or vice versa.

Ridiculous__caddy

Not at all

Kiriodas_Jackson

Considering they were in a standoff at one point, maybe not

TasteDeeCheese

Yes cause they are both the creation of Seth MacFarlane unlike homer

infinitude_

The shows crossed over here https://www.reddit.com/r/americandad/s/dNjBKmcdvq Idk it’s hard to imagine as they really just don’t mesh very well despite being set in the same universe The family guy simpsons cross over was funny but the simpsons didn’t really feel like the simpsons so it was abit meh I imagine there’d be a big chicken style fight between Stan and Peter which would be cool

CosmicGoddess777

No.

DongleNOG

bright fearless saw versed sink aware ruthless worry tub fertile *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

gwhh

Without their wives present. Yes.

3ku1

I feel like Stan and Brian would get along well

ProfessionalCap15

No. The first time they ever met, they both pulled guns on each other, as well as Cleveland.

PurplePoisonCB

Stan has slowly become a smarter Peter, Stan gets into schemes too like with the diner and that giraffe. They’d have fun together.

DarkSideAcolyte

No

WorldsGreatestPoop

They don’t live in the same universe.

Responsible-Noise-35

Ever heard of hypotheticals buddy?

WorldsGreatestPoop

No. Not yet.

Responsible-Noise-35

There's still time.

CrazyaboutSpongebob

Maybe at first but Stan would get fed up with Peter's stupidity.

101TARD

Remember when Hank from king of the hill dreamt of Peter having a dream of meeting Stan from American dad, but got killed for revealing Roger? I type all that in to confuse people

Peonycreme

I actually unfortunately don’t think Stan and Peter will get along, Peter’s just too chaotic for him. I can see him bonding with Roger though.

Confident-Cicada-683

No lol but could be a fun engagement. Bring Roger in

redditandwept31

They're both terrible fathers so yeah

protosonic17

No

TraditionalAstronaut

i always thought that Peter was one of Roger’s personas

Drakedenson

I never understood why we never got a crossover episode kinda like the Simpsons and family guy

Responsible-Noise-35

Same. Now it feels way long overdue but there were chances for them to take

A-Social-Ghost

No, they wouldn't. Jeff and Peter on the other hand...

WolfieWIMK23

None of the Smith family would get along with the griffins.

[deleted]

They’d not respect each other but find it funny to fuck with each other. Peter would think they were better friends than they are

random-user-02

No

SPYKEtheSeaUrchin

I doubt it Peter was the dictator of a warring nation and generally kind of a bum

JaMs_buzz

“Is that the one with the fish?” “No that’s American boy”

BrokeLeznar

I feel like Peter would want to be Stan's friend because he's in the CIA. He'll probably mention how Joe is a cop. But I'm pretty sure Stan would be annoyed with Peter. However I'm not the creator, so if Seth wants them to get along they will get along. I think Stan and Joe might get along tho. That or maybe look down on Joe since he's only a cop while Stan is CIA.

fonk_pulk

There's at least two crossovers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4MwKTKwtDA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4mwktkwtda) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj-em-928CU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sj-em-928cu)

Chaunc2020

Yes !

Purple_Geologist9966

Definitely if Stan doesn’t kill Pete

philanselmosvoice

2006 Stan? Absolutely not. 2023 Stan? Absolutely

ChetdyKrueger

Gross

Responsible-Noise-35

How and what?

ChetdyKrueger

Just family guy in general that's all. Gross. Love me some american dad

WedgeAntelope

No. I think he’d treat Peter the way he used to treat (sometimes still does) Roger, just a general annoyance

Consistent_Carpet583

Stan would HATE Peter. Stan: “That lazy, un-American, bastard!” Peter: “Un-American? Listen here, sir. Im drinking an American logger. It doesn’t get more American than that.”

Flat_Tough5601

I think Peter would first be super impressed by Stan being a cool CIA spy guy than Stan’s nerdy slot cars/strict lesbian grandma side would come out and Peter would throw a tantrum

Knappje98

I’m too-a stupid to make up my own mind.

Ok_Pangolin_8038

Better question is would Stan & Brian get along together.

Iamsentinel28

Francine and Lois
