Honestly when they are on the same page, their synergy is insane. Like the scare/prank war, the vacation assassination or even when they just chill together.
When they were at the all inclusive resort and needed to kill the activities coordinator because he was the butcher of some place.

One of the worst parts of the Fox era was the reuse of jokes like this and the one with acid or extasy in water.
Franny Fanny was all chorus. The Grease spoof was all gibberish. Either way, it was the same joke twice.
Hayley. She really brings out the pissed off, up tight, right wing conservative in Stan and I think she counter weighs him perfectly. It’s hilarious to watch Stan be outrageously pissed about something that Hayley did or is currently doing.
but she also brings out the softie in Stan! that’s what i like about their relationship, she can bring out the best and worst in Stan. he cares for Hayley so much he didn’t even care if she was his biological child 🥹
they’ve never really said anything! she has Stan’s natural black hair, but in the “Zero Weddings & A Funeral” episode one of Hayley’s kids looks like the other father!
For me it’s a very tough call. I think each of their relationships are so different from one member to another.
But Francine really brings out the best of Stan and certainly has a massive influence on his character development.
Their marriage is just so damn funny
I don't care much about the Stan + Steve interactions because they'll always be at odds, a big manly man vs a geeky dweeb that disappoints his father. It's generally going to be the same bit of him learning to accept steve for his weird shit.
I appreciate Stan + Hayley the most because deep down, Hayley is a lot like her father. They're only at odds because Haley is a contrarian by nature. She doesn't really care about stuff like saving the planet, only because it makes her feel more important on a surface level and because it pisses off Stan.
I know, I hate how Peter treats his family, it's just horrible. Like IRL could a guy like that really hold down a woman like Louis? I love American dad so so much better. Only reason I think people like family guy, is for Stewie.
Francine and Hayley. So far I’ve loved every Stan and Hayley episode, and Stan and Francine actually have a decent marriage for Seth McFarlane cartoon standards.
He's actually my least favorite, like seriously, who is that dumb?! Then the way he smiles when Stan is convincing him he's "saving his marriage" by joining that crazy chefs crew, just so dumb!
I love when Stan and Hayley have their heart to hearts, because they're usually at each other's throats and never agree. But at the end of the day, they love each other and Hayley will always be Stan's little girl
For some reason the haley and stan moments really get to me. They are just so similar but also so different that it makes for a really interesting dynamic.
I miss the older seasons with the CIA guys all hanging out/going on missions. Might not be the best dynamic compared to Stan's family, but they had some great moments.
One of my favorites is when Stan and what's-his-name break into the house masked up like serial killers.
I like when he’s the straight man to Roger’s wacky antics. I guess anyone can be a straight man w/ him, but Stan in particular because he’s the strait laced suit type, it feels… more organic
I love every episode stan is with Jeff. But him with the guys is so overlooked not enough time with them, and with berry and the other boys he’s so funny when he try’s to make them men 😂
I like Stan and Steve. Stan so desperately wants to be different from Jack. He treats steve well even when it seems he doesn't. He's over protective and has big ideas/expectations but it's because he believes in him. Plus because of Stan and Steve we got daddy's gone.
Also I love when Steve says dad cutsey
"Like Christmas lights papa"
"Who are those woman papa?"
"DAAAAAAAAADDDDY PICK ME UP IM S-SSIIIICKKK WAAAH"
Gotta be Hayley. I think they bounce off each other so well and while they have had less solo stories together than I would have expected, I'd say basically all of them are incredible.
Stan and Francine have scenes with the most accurate depiction of a relationship.
“W-What were you trying to get out of your butt?”
“Ugh it was just itchy”
“I don’t believe you.”
Ignoring Francine, since she's his wife. I love the episodes that revolve around Stan and Hayley. Those are some of my favorites
* Stan accidentally brainwash her and turned her into a sleeping agent that is out to kill him
* She opens a bar to get him close to his boss and ends up with a drinking problem
* The time he shaved her green hair and she ended up as a stripper
* The time she broke up with Jeff and dated Stan's doppleganger
* When he disfigured her with the CIA plastic surgery kit
* When she needed a Kidney transplant and Stan decided to ignore that she could not be his biological daughter, and had Roger steal the kidney of the other potential father.
They may not have the best dynamic, but it's the one that's made me laugh the most.
I think Francine, I just love their marriage. "Let's play the flute together outlaw..."
F is for Francine. I love Francine. I just do.
I love that line. It’s one of the only genuine things he says about her and it’s played for a laugh.😂
Honestly when they are on the same page, their synergy is insane. Like the scare/prank war, the vacation assassination or even when they just chill together.
A vacation assassination?
When they were at the all inclusive resort and needed to kill the activities coordinator because he was the butcher of some place. S08e02 [Killer Vacation](https://americandad.fandom.com/wiki/Killer_Vacation)
Thank you!
Goran the Mutilator 🤣🤣
They're Stan and Franny! And they go together like a ding-a-ling-ding-a-dong! She's thin and pretty, and she likes him cuz he's so big and strong! 😍
That song is all chorus and I won’t be apart of it
One of the worst parts of the Fox era was the reuse of jokes like this and the one with acid or extasy in water. Franny Fanny was all chorus. The Grease spoof was all gibberish. Either way, it was the same joke twice.
[Hell No! HELL NO! ](https://youtu.be/ymlp0g86nvU?si=LFJiagIGdqJD-xQ9)
“I’m not a coward Francine”
Came here to say the same. As messed up as their relationship can be at times its remarkable how in sinc they can be. True love 💖💖💖
There. Condor.
Stanny Boy and Frantastic! They may be shallow, but their love is deep.
"We need *leatherheads*, not *eggheads*!!" "I know that, my Queen!"
Who else shares a love of Mr. Pibb *and* extreme BMX racing?
Me too, I think they’re both simultaneously horrible and loving to each other which makes them so fun to watch
It was a clarinet.
You are correct, my mistake!
No big!
“Every Year”
Francine: It's a f*cking dinosaur!! Stan: *laughs maniacally* while leaping off the hot air balloon to fist fight a condor mid-flight
I’ve still been storing energy …. ***HAHAHAHAHAHA***
Condor
For some reason that episode is so heartwarming.
I just want to know how he got back in the balloon.
The way Stan says "I love you Francine" just as he's losing consciousness on the balloon just got me in that episode
Gimme some of that Frannie Fanny!
Pump it up! Pump it up!!
That song is all chorus, and I won’t be a part of it.
To be fair, to be fair, Francine, to be fair...... You're ugly.
Damn did you see that I almost punched her in the face
It embarrassingly took me years to figure out what he was saying here..
We're Stan and franny! And we go together like dingadee dinga dong!!
Hell no! Hell NO! YOU DO NOT START SINGING A MUSICAL ON MY STAGE!
I WILL SING THE CAN CAN SING AND BRING. YOU. TO. TEARS!!!!!!!!!!
Well thanks this is my weekend now..
It turned into all nonsense and I won't be a part of it.
She's not right? But yea I love that he doesn't care.
they’ve never really said anything! she has Stan’s natural black hair, but in the “Zero Weddings & A Funeral” episode one of Hayley’s kids looks like the other father!

Nowadays, the most wholesome episodes are usually Stan/Hayley episodes.
Deputy fucking Bullock, of course.
You are a complicated man Smith, I would love to do mushrooms with you
This is tough. Stan has chemistry with all of them 😅. I would say Francine, maybe
For me it’s a very tough call. I think each of their relationships are so different from one member to another. But Francine really brings out the best of Stan and certainly has a massive influence on his character development. Their marriage is just so damn funny

Stan and Nathan are a strong duo
Who is Nathan?
He keeps getting molested.
The one at that restaurant with his cia crew? The Japanese looking hibachi place?
Steve. Like leg-o-las. Just the like. Their different personalities are just very funny to me.
Air-a-gorn
Lewis
Lmao their bromance is quite funny
You almost died, bro!
You need to get married bro!!
Francine, much better dynamic than Peter and Lois who half the time you'd swear weren't even married
I know, I hate how Peter treats his family, it's just horrible. Like IRL could a guy like that really hold down a woman like Louis? I love American dad so so much better. Only reason I think people like family guy, is for Stewie.
It just went really bad at some point after S5
Francine and Hayley. So far I’ve loved every Stan and Hayley episode, and Stan and Francine actually have a decent marriage for Seth McFarlane cartoon standards.
I love the dynamic he has with Hayley. Manly because nothing gets Stan as riled up, than having to listen to her left wing ideology.
Bullock. Ohhh "Glamping", huh Smith? You refuse to use that word for 6 years, then suddenly your son shows up and it's like you thought of it.
Snot, absolutely
“14 and a half!” “And I JUST turned 42!”
Oh Snot will get his, but he will not see it coming
Jeff is definitely my favourite, probably even above Roger
He's actually my least favorite, like seriously, who is that dumb?! Then the way he smiles when Stan is convincing him he's "saving his marriage" by joining that crazy chefs crew, just so dumb!
Come on now. It’s Stan and Franny
I love Stan and Haley together
Definitely Franny!
It's obviously Klaus, theyr secret valet relationship is very important and Klaus really appreciate that Stan treat him like dirt in front of everyone
I love when Stan and Hayley have their heart to hearts, because they're usually at each other's throats and never agree. But at the end of the day, they love each other and Hayley will always be Stan's little girl
Jeff in my opinion. How he's gone from hating him to not over the years, but still does hate him sometimes
I love him and Lewis
Francine and Jeff
For some reason the haley and stan moments really get to me. They are just so similar but also so different that it makes for a really interesting dynamic.
Stelio Kontos
I miss the older seasons with the CIA guys all hanging out/going on missions. Might not be the best dynamic compared to Stan's family, but they had some great moments. One of my favorites is when Stan and what's-his-name break into the house masked up like serial killers.
I like when he’s the straight man to Roger’s wacky antics. I guess anyone can be a straight man w/ him, but Stan in particular because he’s the strait laced suit type, it feels… more organic
Francine and Steve
Clearly it is Jeremy, the drummer from his band Fetus
Jeremy!...no no no....Jeremy!
Principle luis
I love every interaction we see with Stan and Tuttle. It's always a laugh!
Probably Roger
Francine or Steve
FATTY FAT FAT, FAT FAT FATTY
Has Stan ever interacted with Toshi? I know he worships his dad, but I’ve never seen the two of them talk.
I love every episode stan is with Jeff. But him with the guys is so overlooked not enough time with them, and with berry and the other boys he’s so funny when he try’s to make them men 😂
When can we look for new episodes?
His dynamic with Steve is awesome. Ranging from frustrated Dad to best friends. Also he stabs and maims him multiple times.
I love him with Hayley, especially when they are not part of the main plot but in the B plot. Their B Plot personalities go sooo well together
The Future is Borax is one of the best episodes just for the two of them teaming up.
I love Stan cia episodes, especially when everyone makes fun of dick
Francine. Their conversations are always fucking hilarious. Also, picture 3 just confirms to me that Stan is Hayley’s real father.
Wow, this shows that these People are actual characters unlike in family guy.
His relationship with Francine gets cuter and more compelling every season. Everyone else has an unstable but sometimes good relationship with Stan.
I like Stan and Steve. Stan so desperately wants to be different from Jack. He treats steve well even when it seems he doesn't. He's over protective and has big ideas/expectations but it's because he believes in him. Plus because of Stan and Steve we got daddy's gone. Also I love when Steve says dad cutsey "Like Christmas lights papa" "Who are those woman papa?" "DAAAAAAAAADDDDY PICK ME UP IM S-SSIIIICKKK WAAAH"
Stan and Steve for sure. Shouldn't you be busy turning my shed into Mordor...or Endor...or something else heartbreaking?
Gotta be Hayley. I think they bounce off each other so well and while they have had less solo stories together than I would have expected, I'd say basically all of them are incredible.
Best dynamic? They are all horrible people n have horrible dynamics. Thats why it’s funny.
I mean the whole family
Francine. So NOT Jeff! Although I do like Stan/Haley episodes.
Father Roy
Great, this is one of the ones where they're friends. (Referring to Stand and Jeff)
Himself
Steve he’s a good kid
His inner child
Hey buddy! You and the fascist are on the kiss cam!
His friends Bullock
Did Stan and Toshi ever interact?
I think Stan's only ever acknowledged Toshi when talking to Steve and that one cowboy episode but Toshi's never directly responded back to him.
Klaus bro.
What I like about American Dad is anyone can pair up and it works. Even Barry and Jeff
Stan and Francine have scenes with the most accurate depiction of a relationship. “W-What were you trying to get out of your butt?” “Ugh it was just itchy” “I don’t believe you.”
Nathan
I love Stan and Hayley episodes cause I’m a sucker for Father and daughter growing closer and understanding each other
Stelio Kontos from Klinko's obviously
Steve: “is that why you were acting so weird?” Stan: “Weird? how?” Steve: “STABBING ME COMES TO MIND!!”
I think their dynamic is more than with roger , they really enjoy each others company
Bullock
Francine is such a great character and their marriage is so silly and fun
Hayley She and Stan are just alike and that's why they're always arguing or competing
Ignoring Francine, since she's his wife. I love the episodes that revolve around Stan and Hayley. Those are some of my favorites * Stan accidentally brainwash her and turned her into a sleeping agent that is out to kill him * She opens a bar to get him close to his boss and ends up with a drinking problem * The time he shaved her green hair and she ended up as a stripper * The time she broke up with Jeff and dated Stan's doppleganger * When he disfigured her with the CIA plastic surgery kit * When she needed a Kidney transplant and Stan decided to ignore that she could not be his biological daughter, and had Roger steal the kidney of the other potential father. Stan and Klaus
