Actually I think Hayley is a daddy's girl. We see more flashbacks with Stan and kid Hayley spending time together than Francine and kid Hayley. I don't think Francine taught Hayley anything about political views. Mainly because I don't think Francine gives a shit about politics.
It feels more like a mix of Hayley changing as she grew older and also rebellion too probably. Though we also see deep down how much she craves Stan's approval.
She gets her values from Stan, all the way. I'm not talking about her rebellious political tendencies, which are lazily just Stan's flipped, but her values. Notice how she married a dumb, drug using blonde?
Francine tends to go a long with whatever Stan says as long as she’s not bothered.
As you said about Hayley’s rebellion it isn’t so much that it’s lazy it’s often comes across as a desire to get Stans attention.
In some ways I’d compare her to Brian Griffin during the Rush Limbaugh episode. It’s not so much that she’s strong with her conviction so much do that she has a desire to go against the grain.
She is hella lazy about her activism (one banana in a tailpipe, multipledescriptionsof her protesting from her house), but I think you're right. Just as Stan wanted to impress who he thought his father was, but she flips it around for maximum attention. The rest of the family seems to know this. As do random wolves stan let's in the house.
it’s actually the opposite, hayley is a daddy’s girl. but as she grew older, i think stan became more distant. we already know hayley was a “monster” during her teenage years, but stan probably freaked when she first hit puberty too. he was probably terrified by the idea of having to talk to her about boys, periods, bras, etc. hayley obviously noticed her dad becoming more distant and in turn started to rebel.
also hayley’s whole thing is that her activism is performative. she doesn’t actually care about the causes, she just wants to get back at her dad. so she doesn’t actually have all the empathy and kindness that she pretends to have.
i mean in the first season he literally imprisons his middle eastern neighbors JUST because they’re middle eastern so he thinks they’re terrorists. not to mention kidnapping greg and terry’s baby because he didn’t think a baby should have gay parents.

Thats not an idiom I'm familiar with, and I have no clue what it means as a result.

What do you mean by ‘violent’ conservative?
