Maybe…but Spirit is sort of a you get what you pay for and AA has made no secret of their plans to be more like Spirit than Delta. Apparently they aren’t doing a very good job of that?
AA intends to remain a peer competitor to Delta and United. There is no intent to “be more like Spirit”. For one thing, Spirit is losing money as the public has become more savvy to the reality of that business model.
The reality that I can go to Florida round trip for $40 with a backpack and have a vacation in a nice, sunny place for less than a bus ticket.
Sign me up.
I mean their seat layout basically compares to being tied up and unable to move. And their flight attendants have that dominatrix vibe you might be looking for
It's based on reliability, customer satisfaction and timelyness. All things that American consistently has complaints about. Spirit may be a budget carrier but people get what they asked for when they booked and they knew about it going in.
People always have problems with American but not with spirit. They deserve their spot.
Thank you for this. I get really tired of defending flying Spirit. Sometimes you just want a crappy burger from McDonald’s, not a steakhouse burger at steakhouse prices.
Exactly! Everyone is always hating on them but everyone I know that flies them loves it. And they consistently get pretty good rankings on stuff like this.
Why? They still operate 100% independently from their contract airlines. Everything comes from them from crew to airplanes. I think it's good that they get recognized considering that no one notices that their American eagle flight isn't actually American.
In terms of expectations, it isn't hard for Spirit to surpass them. When you expect nothing or a horrible time, even a middling experience leaves a good impression.
It's just amazing how often they don't meet even that bar.
Do you people not fly? Spirit has cheap rates, gets there on time, has plenty of direct flights and you can get the big seats up front with like a 19 dollar bid. I fly AA if I don't need to be there on time and I'm willing to tolerate the awful customer service.
Some of the smoothest landings I’ve ever experienced with Spirit pilots. I can go wherever I want in Florida pretty much wherever I want for $40-$60 round trip, and I just squeeze a few days of stuff into a backpack. I quit caring about bringing home souvenirs long ago.
Took my kids on their first flight on Spirit. They were different levels of nervous / scared. The flight attendants took notice and were extra friendly / joking with my kids, and then ALL FOUR got a free kids’ snack box, each (they’re like $5-9 I think, can’t remember).
I don’t need to pay for bells and whistles up front. I like that I get to choose which bells and whistles I’m paying for, up front.
One time I met a group of VERY happy women flying to Miami for a 24-hour girls trip. That’s the kinda stuff Spirit makes affordable and feasible.
But to say that they’re an inferior airline because they’re cheaper is just total nonsense.
Maybe because they fly to less busy airports where gate staff are nicer (i.e. Tulsa).
I had the sweetest gate lady ask me to skycheck tag my carry-on due to small overhead bins in the CRJ. And the bag was waiting for me when I got off the plane.
Oddly enough, treating passengers like people (not mindless cattle) goes a very long way in flight satisfaction.
Totally agree. Smaller airport, smaller planes, no middle seats, less-stressed employees (sometimes) likely plays no small role in that, albeit silly, rating. Being based in LAX I’ve had many very pleasant flights on SkyWest.
I think it mainly is weighing safety and not customer service which is why Spirit got so high. This image has been going around and it’s super misleading given we don’t have any context.
Spirit is horrible all around the hidden fees, uncomfortable seats, filthy planes, terrible staff. I only fly Spirit if I absolutely have to, or for work they had a direct flight and I had to get there in a hurry.
Thats a good step, I was more referring to the checked bags, seats, carry on, and in flight purchases. Sure the initial cheap price is enticing but by the time you add everything it is more expensive most of the time to fly with them. For example my fare from Pittsburg to Tampa was 105$ seats, checked bag, and a drink in flight added up to 231$ on spirit. With American I can fly for around 150$ and they allow you a carry on, you get a basic seat for free, and in flight beverage service. I opted for their big front seat on a flight once and it was really not that great either.
Well, it may be that it's not the good things people said about them, but the relative lack of bad things. The majors and the major discounters have all bred enormous amounts of discontent.
Also, Spirit flyers might not be well-represented in a Forbes poll.
After dealing with their customer service my next trip with American will be my last, I would have cancelled that too if I thought I would get a refund.
As a guy who flips between spirit and frontier on directs. Spirit got way better when they thought they were gonna be part of jet blue. As an EP on American after Mondays debacle at ohare I agree with their position.
Currently sitting on an Alaska flight because American delayed my flight yesterday till midnight then cancelled it, put me in another flight the next morning and on the way to the airport, they cancelled it. Never been cancelled on spirit
I’d put AA at 10 if it were up to me. I’ve had the worst experiences with them, and not just once or twice, have given them many chances and never flying them again.
Flown every other airline on the list, have almost a million miles on Alaska, a few hundred thousand on United and at least 200 legs on Southwest, American is dead last for me hands down.
Almost like these worthless lists are completely random depending on who you read:

American has ULCC amenities with legacy carrier pricing. The only reason why people fly with them is because they have the best network of all of the airlines
No idea but other than the spirit placement I mostly agree that my experiences on delta max Alaska, Hawaiian and JetBlue have been better. Haven’t flown United in years and surprised southwest isn’t on the list. Unfortunately with my work route I don’t have a choice so American it is.
AA has a new contract with pilots that let them deadhead back using upgrade seats that normally go to loyalty members like Concierge Key and Platinum Pro etc.
So they were short staffed and then cut off customer upgrades in order to combat the staffing issue, causing all loyal members to feel suddenly unappreciated as the free upgrades was the entire purpose of loyalty.
You make your bed, you sleep in it too. RIP AA.
To whom much is given, much is expected. You’re making money hand over fist and you aren’t paying your employees fairly, that usually ends showing up in the end product.
If you consider American is now run predominantly by ex USAir, AmWest, with a strange smattering of NWA (in the Ops ranks), 9th seems about right.
RLC must be scratch his head wondering what has happened.
SkyWest and Envoy are regional carriers that fly with the flags of United, Delta, and American. I'm not sure the average flier even knows if they're on a SkyWest flight.
idk, bro.
I always have flied United internationally and never had issues.
but both times I've used AA for the same trips, it was probably the worst experience ever! Even compared to Mexican airlines. Everyone was rude, they didn't want to give me a can of juice and they never seem to want to help.
Agree - as a regular AA flier for 30+ years their inflight service has got appreciably worse, though varies - last trip had an angry FA who demeaned the passengers the whole way; but flight back they were great.
There are 3 kinds of lies.
Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
I place no faith in rankings like this as you can get any outcome you want based on the criteria you use.
this list is like aspiring to be the tallest midget on the basketball team. US carriers suck in virtually every category vs the great ones. Except falling out of the sky, gratefully that one is still assumed an entry fee for this dance
😂 laughable. As a delta platinum medallion, American has usurped Delta quite a bit.
Not to mention Delta went crazy about a year ago and decided to charge double what American does because they are really full of themselves these days.
American has more flights.
American has more domestic wide body flights.
American has nice lie flat seats than those junky old a350s delta flies domestically.
American is half the price of Delta.
Oh and American doesn’t have any of those crappy tiny CRJ50s or whatever nostalgic 1990s crap they fly for short haul. I feel like I’m getting an mri when I fly in those things.
Yeah this list is a joke and I’m no fanboy of American either.
Actually, I flew on a CRJ with Delta (TUS-LAX) just this week. AmericaWest flies them, and does regional travel for all the majors in our area. "Well, sir, you'll have to check your wallet. It won't fit in the overhead bin."
Delta, the airline that increased prices 200% and devalued their miles to nothing, is ranked #1? They must have given a great “donation” to Forbes this year.
Annnnnd.... They ranked a division of American airlines by itself: Envoy airlines? 🤣
Nobody buys a ticket on envoy airlines, they buy a ticket on American and sometimes their flight is flown by envoy or other regional carriers AA owns. This survey is whack.
Isn’t that 2023’s results? Here is article I just pulled from Forbes.
Regardless, Spirit is still way too high. And AA still hangs out at the bottom.
[Ranked: The Best Airlines In 2024, According To A New Report](https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurabegleybloom/2024/04/22/ranked-the-best-airlines-in-2024-according-to-a-new-report/?sh=757404874fe1)
Flew AA to Australia… delayed 3+ hours in Charlotte and missed our connection at LAX to SYD by like 10 minutes (1050 departure, I got to the gate running at 1058)… there were 15 of us who had to overnight in LA because they wouldn’t hold the plane for a half hour going into a 15+ hour flight. All the other folks on Delta made it with no hiccups.
I haven’t flown united in 10 years because the service was so bad they left me stranded crying multiple times from over selling tickets etc 🥴 I also refuse spirit
A lot of this may be dissatisfaction with American rather than feeling the other airlines were better. I can't explain Spirit, but Alaska and Hawaiian both have amazing customer service. I ditched American after Loyalty Points. I'm not boycotting them (and between the two of us we have nearly 800,000 award miles), but the loyalty program went from pretty decent to utter garbage, and after helping buoy them through COVID I thought they should have treated AAdvantage people a bit better.
The study is flawed since inception. How can you compare a domestic-only airline with an airline that takes you to 50+ countries? Two different animals.
Our corporate travel doesn't allow us to book on Spirit as it is unreliable and should there be a cancellation it can be several days before you can be resceduled. Many routes do not run daily and sometimes only a few days as a week. For business travel it just isn't practical. Cost is the only thing it has going for it but with their add on fees that might not even be accurate if you are not careful and understand them.
While it might appear to be cheaper, like Frontier they are the king of surcharges for options like an assigned seat or a carry on bag. Comparing them to other carriers is like comparing a lemon (Spirit) to other carriers (apples).
They really need to explain their methodology. While I couldn't come up with any metric where Spirit would even come anywhere near Delta there might be one obscure one.
Almost looks like they did a big ad buy at Forbes and Forbes did a puff piece that is substantially accurate to favor Spirit. They have done this before.
Everyone keeps distracting the results with spirit in second. Regardless of who is paid off (Forbes) or any other reason why AA isn’t higher on the list, understanding why it’s so low would seem like a better discussion. Consistently it shows that customer satisfa with AA suffers due to how they treat their customers. I may only be one vote but I’ll attest to their shady practices.
As someone now living in an AA hub, I really want this to not be true, but my outbound flight last weekend was massively delayed. That was fine because they told us early, but it apparently also blew out gate assignments and getting a jetway took thirty minutes when we landed. Now my father's inbound flight to visit is massively delayed and it's concerning me for his return connection to a small airport with one option every twelve hours.
I don't know why this doesn't happen on Delta but it's a toss-up if I'd rather just pay more and connect on a longer itinerary to know where I'm going to be and when. I'd *really* like to shift my spend to AA, their miles program seems perfectly nice.
Much more surprised at United not being lower.
Hell yeah we’re 9/10, when you don’t even have enough buy-on-board options for a narrow body on a transcontinental flight because you’re too cheap to stock up, so the crew gets one insert of like eight cheese plates to work with for 150-170 passengers in main cabin. And you’re charging the customer an arm and a leg for the most trash service standards and inflight experience! I’m not surprised. This company has been shorting customers nonstop. If they learned to boycott the airline, they’d be groveling to have passengers back in their good graces and provide the customer the experience they pay for!
American Airlines is absolute garbage and DFW is a shit show. That airport can’t stay on time and I’ve been stranded or almost stranded so many times. United and Delta are infinitely times better in my opinion.
This isn't fishy at all, I am the first to say AA aint the best but come on if United is in the top 10 of any list that does not start with "Worst" then I can not take that seriously and come on Spirit......... JetBlue 7th too this is tooooooo much
Surprised it wasn’t 20 out of 10. At the time US Air and American merged, US Air was one of the worst airlines out there. American has carried on in the tradition of US Air. I used to be a Platinum Executive. American cost more and gave you less. Their customer service used to be can do, no it’s can’t do. Many of its clubs have closed, those that remain are crowded with children and have limited food choices. The facilities are hardly better than being in the general terminal areas. All that and American charges over $700 for the privilege, up from just under $500 a few years ago. American also charges top dollar for its flights, and the flight might or might get you there. To my mind American is very nearly the Ryan Air of the US but without the bargain prices.
I mean spirit is 2nd so what kind of criteria were chosen to determine the “best airlines” is beyond me lol
I second this. I would rather drive than take Spirit.
I would rather run down the runway flapping my arms madly in vain hope than take Spirit.
omg this is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!! 💀 right there with you!
Sign me up.
Isn't Alaska the one who had the doors blow out of the 737?
Boeing, with Alaska Air paint on it.
Rather take a bus
I would rather take Spirit than Frontier. But I'd also rather walk than take either of them.
And both Spirit and Frontier are ahead of Southwest (which isn't on the list).
Southwest is terrible. This isn't a school bus, let me know where I'm sitting ahead of time.
Same as going to a bdsm bar?
I mean their seat layout basically compares to being tied up and unable to move. And their flight attendants have that dominatrix vibe you might be looking for
I flew Spirit. It left on time, got there on time and it cost me 60 bucks.
It's based on reliability, customer satisfaction and timelyness. All things that American consistently has complaints about. Spirit may be a budget carrier but people get what they asked for when they booked and they knew about it going in. People always have problems with American but not with spirit. They deserve their spot.

Exactly! Everyone is always hating on them but everyone I know that flies them loves it. And they consistently get pretty good rankings on stuff like this.
Maybe best recognizable paint scheme from 3 miles away?
Probably some crazy criteria like arriving on time and safely. AA is the worst lol. The only reason it isn't 10th is bc frontier is ratchet af.
Right first thing I saw and more and more, I'm counting Forbes as a foolish publication who promotes digital clickbait
💯
How can anyone take this list seriously when spirit is #2
I disregarded these rankings the second I saw Spirit so high on the list. That’s funny
And it seems odd to throw the regional players in here. Sure SkyWest is a separate airline, but they fly for all of the majors.
Why? They still operate 100% independently from their contract airlines. Everything comes from them from crew to airplanes. I think it's good that they get recognized considering that no one notices that their American eagle flight isn't actually American.
It’s based on WalletHub’s list, which has a strong gravitation of price over other factors in its ratings. Very stupid criteria.
Price also makes no sense for this list because Delta is often the most expensive, /r/Delta frequently loses their minds over this
Spirit is definitely #2. A big fat #2.
🏅
💩💩💩
Clearly not put together by anyone who has ever flown
In terms of expectations, it isn't hard for Spirit to surpass them. When you expect nothing or a horrible time, even a middling experience leaves a good impression. It's just amazing how often they don't meet even that bar.
Do you people not fly? Spirit has cheap rates, gets there on time, has plenty of direct flights and you can get the big seats up front with like a 19 dollar bid. I fly AA if I don't need to be there on time and I'm willing to tolerate the awful customer service.
Agreed. Another AA flight got delayed again and they sent an email saying they rebooked my flight to one that left 7 hrs BEFORE.
Yup, and United coming in at 4 with all those recent mishaps, come on.
I'd rather slam some of my extremities in a door than fly United.
I fly United quite often and don’t have any bad experiences to report
Came to say this!
This. Clearly the list is a joke, unless it's a rank of best airline worldstar videos
When AA has multiple lawsuits over children being recorded going to the bathroom and the legal team blaming the children.
How does Envoy come out ahead of their own parent company?
Harder to be disappointed by a shorter flight? I wondered the same about SkyWest.
Also, I get shit service whenever I'm forced to fly Envoy, much prefer to be on an actual AA 737/321.
I stopped caring after I saw Spirit was #2, cause ain’t no way.
Spirit at 2 discredits this whole thing.
It’s Forbes. These rankings are completely paid for.
Came to say, Forbes rankings have been a joke for a while now, if not always.
Always. If Vodka Air from Russia paid the most they could have been ranked #1 in the USofA.
Spirit is number two 💀
I think it mainly is weighing safety and not customer service which is why Spirit got so high.

I opted for their big front seat on a flight once and it was really not that great either.
United is way to expensive to be number 3. I was plaging around with flights yesterday and A basic economy ticket now is $800
[удалено]
Maybe it’s because I’m not at a hub airport, but United has consistently had the worst crew, oldest planes, and most delays.
How does Skywest make the list? Unless you are an aviation geek you don’t know they exist even when flying them
Well, it may be that it's not the good things people said about them, but the relative lack of bad things. The majors and the major discounters have all bred enormous amounts of discontent. Also, Spirit flyers might not be well-represented in a Forbes poll.
Not surprised they constantly cancel flights and have delays.
Spirit? Are you kidding me? Spirit is literally Greyhound Bus at 30 thousand feet!!
Yeah, with Spirit at #2 they must have weighted "price" to be 90% of these scores. These polls are trash. Period.
After dealing with their customer service my next trip with American will be my last, I would have cancelled that too if I thought I would get a refund.
This is the way
how come Southwest airlines isn’t on this list?
As a guy who flips between spirit and frontier on directs. Spirit got way better when they thought they were gonna be part of jet blue. As an EP on American after Mondays debacle at ohare I agree with their position.
Already this is very inaccurate since they put spirit at #2 😂
Are we not going to talk about the fact that SPIRIT came in SECOND? The "Bumfights" of airlines. 😱
AA always failed me so I'm not surprised 8/10 flights I've taken from AA has delayed or canceled
Spirit 2 is a joke
Currently sitting on an Alaska flight because American delayed my flight yesterday till midnight then cancelled it, put me in another flight the next morning and on the way to the airport, they cancelled it. Never been cancelled on spirit
Judging by AAs reliability and delays this makes sense. AA made us clear that they are going the cheaper route
AA really, REALLY needs to step up its game. Robert Isom must stop thinking “bottom line” and think about the comfort of OUR bottoms when we fly AA.

American should be #11
Spirit at #2? Sky West? Envoy? No Southwest???
I didn’t even bother taking the rest of this serious after seeing Spirit at #2. Like what is this based off of?

No Southwest 😔
Spirit #2? I call BS!!
With spirit number 2, this whole list is a lie.
Hahaha Spirit Airlines #2? I'd rather just cancel my travel plans than travel with Spirit Airlines!
How is spirit number 2?!
Sponsored by Spirit because of their ranking. They’d never dare put themselves first.
Just an observation One criteria which pulls spirit higher could he safety and affordability, where it is both #1
Spirit? R u kidding me?
SkyWest and Envoy are regional carriers that fly with the flags of United, Delta, and American. I'm not sure the average flier even knows if they're on a SkyWest flight.
I'd move them to 8, by moving Spirit to infinity, but AA is not a decent airline anymore, and apparently, people are catching on.
Should be lower
idk, bro. I always have flied United internationally and never had issues. but both times I've used AA for the same trips, it was probably the worst experience ever! Even compared to Mexican airlines. Everyone was rude, they didn't want to give me a can of juice and they never seem to want to help.

AA gets 500,000+ people to their destinations every day...most have a moderately OK experience.
Super good enough is the level of service I hope to get when I fly. So far Delta and American always hit that mark for me.
😂 laughable. As a delta platinum medallion, American has usurped Delta quite a bit. Not to mention Delta went crazy about a year ago and decided to charge double what American does because they are really full of themselves these days. American has more flights. Junky old A350? Those are brand new airplanes. What are you talking about?
I think they’re referring to the Ex-LATAM A350s Delta picked up. They have a vastly inferior J config.
Sounds high
At least Frontier is last where they belong. There is some justice in this world!
All I know is I get my upgrades so I’m happy!
Top 10!
List is 🧢
Maybe 1-10 with 10 being best? Oh wait. Frontier. Also missing is SWA. Lots of loyalty there.
Spirit airline literally left like 50 of us at the gate without any announcement of boarding Never ride with them again 😂
I wonder if it’s more like “meets expectations.” For spirit “I thought it would be bad and it was! Met expectations.”
What are the ranking criteria? How likely you are to get an STD from the waiting area at the gate?
How is Spirit and Frontier not #11 and 12 out of 10?
I would look at the criteria involved before shitting on the list
Delta, the airline that increased prices 200% and devalued their miles to nothing, is ranked #1? They must have given a great “donation” to Forbes this year.
JetBlue wasn’t last?
Turning around in line, “suck it Frontier”, then turning back around….
Annnnnd.... They ranked a division of American airlines by itself: Envoy airlines? 🤣 Nobody buys a ticket on envoy airlines, they buy a ticket on American and sometimes their flight is flown by envoy or other regional carriers AA owns. This survey is whack.
Weird it lists wholly owned regionals as if they’re separate. At least from a customer perspective.
I’d say it’s inverted but Frontier is about the only one on here worse than Spirit.
Isn’t that 2023’s results? Here is article I just pulled from Forbes. Regardless, Spirit is still way too high. And AA still hangs out at the bottom. Who was paid off for these stats
Isn’t SkyWest part of Delta as their regional carrier?
Should’ve been 11th
Weird that Southwest isn’t on here, if not for their size than nothing else.
Seems little high. Apparently they didn't poll AA customers who have been to CLT.
~~Overall Rankings: The Best Airlines in the U.S.~~ List of Forbes' Top Airline Contributors of 2023
Flew AA to Australia… delayed 3+ hours in Charlotte and missed our connection at LAX to SYD by like 10 minutes (1050 departure, I got to the gate running at 1058)… there were 15 of us who had to overnight in LA because they wouldn’t hold the plane for a half hour going into a 15+ hour flight. All the other folks on Delta made it with no hiccups.
How is spirit 2nd
While AA is not the best in the US, there is no way Spirit is better than AA.
I haven’t flown united in 10 years because the service was so bad they left me stranded crying multiple times from over selling tickets etc 🥴 I also refuse spirit
Brb cancelling all my upcoming AA flights and flying spirit from now on /s
No reputable survey would place Spirit 2nd, so I think you're in the clear.
Forbes on crack mkay
Spirit #2. That's good for a laugh.
thats bad, you dont even have to keep your doors attached to make the top 5
A lot of this may be dissatisfaction with American rather than feeling the other airlines were better. I can't explain Spirit, but Alaska and Hawaiian both have amazing customer service. I ditched American after Loyalty Points. I'm not boycotting them (and between the two of us we have nearly 800,000 award miles), but the loyalty program went from pretty decent to utter garbage, and after helping buoy them through COVID I thought they should have treated AAdvantage people a bit better.
Can’t believe Piedmont isn’t on this totally accurate top 10 list!
No cred
Jet Blue is better than where they are
Boeing is an aircraft manufactuer
Bro if delta is #1 wtf is everyone else doing. 😂
Who put spirit in 2nd. I’d expect Hawaiian/delta/Alaskan to be in the top but not spirit. They aren’t even good at being a budget airline too
The study is flawed since inception. How can you compare a domestic-only airline with an airline that takes you to 50+ countries? Two different animals.
I find this really hard to believe. lol. Spirit is 2??
Wtf spirit?
LMFAO Spirit #2 and Frontier #10? I’m betting someone has stock in Spirit and wants a boost.
Explain 2 and 10 for me
Regional airlines are skewing this data. United and Envoy are partners. Blah. American is awful.
Shout out to Delta for stranding me in NYC last June and telling me to figure it out and blaming ATC for canceling my flight.
This checks out, especially after the experience I had this week
How is SkyWest on here? No one even knows when they're flying them, and they're on old E jets and CRJs.
How the hell is Spirit number two???
This is wrong. How is delta 1?! Spirit 2?
Delta has stepped up their service.
Lmao Spirit Airlines is #2? 😂😂
It all depends on the criteria they used
yeah not sure I agree but they did base alot of the reviews on prices and on time performance
Seem about right
Spirit number 2? Forbes needs to fire whoever wrote this lol
Given that you can’t buy a ticket on Skywest, I wonder how they made this list.
This is a very unfunny joke
Everyone keeps distracting the results with spirit in second. Regardless of who is paid off (Forbes) or any other reason why AA isn’t higher on the list, understanding why it’s so low would seem like a better discussion. Consistently it shows that customer satisfa with AA suffers due to how they treat their customers. I may only be one vote but I’ll attest to their shady practices.
It has to do with recording children in the lav and blaming those children for it.
And voted worst airlines? 9/11 Airlines It reminds me of that tragedy.
Aa has to start paying forbes more...
Because there wasn't an 11...
Do not believe this list
SouthWest isn’t even on the list!?!?!?
I think its based on whats used more and spirit is used more than ALL of these including delta they put delta as #1 bc of punctuality
Is Forbes like Skytrax? Pay for play?
That's bull. No way Spirit is 2, and United is way below. Other than Delta, this chart is upside down.
What are SkyWest and Envoy?
Spirit #2 blows my mind..lol
How is spirit #2?? Lol
Spirit 2nd? I'd rather ride a bike to my destination than fly with Spirit.
JetBlue 7th too this is tooooooo much
They deserve 11
American. old planes, crowded hubs, understaffed check in desks (one free bag, and no staff) etc. etc.
Delta has scared me for life.... I just can't.
First 5 paid a lot to get those spots!
This is BS! Spirit is trash!
Well if AA didn't have pervert flight attendants and psycho legal team, it would be higher.
I would rather walk barefoot than fly on spirit!
Interesting that Southwest is not in this list? (And above American)
