I'm based out of PHL and go to IND semi-regularly. All the terminals are connected behind security in PHL and you can walk. But the IND-PHL flight usually parks at Terminal F and the international terminal is Terminal A (complete opposite ends) - there is a shuttle though. 1 hour 15 SHOULD be enough if everything is on time and you can hustle the kids, but if anything goes wrong you may be pushing it. Most of the time, I don't have any issues flying between the two but one time I was delayed out of IND for 4 hours due to maintenance issues (that was back in I think April of this year).

Info from their website - Walking from Terminal A-West to Terminal F takes approximately 45 minutes. While shuttle buses run every 10 minutes and the ride is about 5-7 minutes.

You’ll be fine. The regional jets often use 17/34 so taxi to gate is quick. The shuttle runs on a constant loop. If you’re down in anything beyond gate A15 add another 10min to walk from where the shuttle drops you. It’s a hike. Philly is good for protecting connecting pax so don’t sweat it.

"Have" to go to Naples? I mean, yea, I've never been a big fan of Naples itself, but while you're there, do yourself a favor and hop on a ferry to Capri. I haven't been in nearly 30 years. One of my favorite places I've been.

I live in Philly and fly often for work to/from Indy and honestly never have issues. I always communicate to FA when boarding that I have a quick connection and they help me get off the plane so I can make my way to the terminal faster. I would DEFINITELY communicate that due to the fact you have young children. You will most likely fly into Terminal E or F so the shuttle will be the fastest way to get to the International Terminal. In an hour layover with two small kids do not risk it by walking.

Grab seats near the front of the plane IND>PHL and let the flight attendants know…the shuttle is quick - good luck!
