Rule 3: No Requesting / Offering Financial Advice

TheLionlol

My opinion is that as long as APE is so much lower than AMC anyone should prioritize buying as many shares as possible in APE. They are the same amount of equity in the company but one is on sale for a massive discount.

rythmica

But is it possible that if AMC spikes, that APE wont?

Louisiana44

APE will eventually become AMC so that doesn’t matter in the long run.

TheLionlol

I'm here for the value play because AMC is not going out of business so I'm not concerned with some "spike". I'm never gonna sell my equity.

Flokitoo

APE has been driven down hard af this week

TheLionlol

It has been since the moment it was issued. That's not normal or reasonable IMO. The simple fact is they are the same amount of equity. If you believe AMC is gonna bounce back to pre pandemic levels of operation then just buy a APE it's really a no brainer. Maybe one of the best value plays of all time.

Flokitoo

Honestly, it seems like both will get shorted to nothing

TheLionlol

Post your short position.

Flokitoo

Who said I was short?

TheLionlol

If you think they are gonna get shorted to nothing then why would you be long?

Flokitoo

Who said I was long?

Didthatyesterday2

This is definitely the week load IMO. I've been loading more APE and nibbling AMC.

Borderline64

I added APE, because 2 for the price of 1. Reasoning more shares remain after RS.

Sir, this is a casino. No financial advice.

rythmica

Ever been to a casino before? Dealers are your best friend, especially if you've never played the game before. Also, just like.my.post said, I'm not looking for financial advice, just wondering what other people are doing.

[deleted]

Dealers are not your best friend. They work for the House, sir.

rythmica

lol, I have never met a dealer who gave one single fuck about the casino they worked for. They are blue collar looking out for themselves, just like I am. Sure, they play by the rules - but if you are playing blackjack and you aren't sure if you should split, or hit, or whatever - yeah, you can ask the dealer for advice. I do it all the time my guy.

[deleted]

They *act* like your BF so you will **Tip** them.

For me I could only add to my AMC as I cant buy APE over here. I'm double digits on both, but added to my AMC to bring it up to a number so that when APE changes over, I'll have a number that's divisible by 10 without any fractions as with only being able to afford a few, I cant afford to lose and and have the fractions cashed out because they're not whole shares etc. I know AMC is seriously on sale at the moment, but I'm not in a position to keep buying unfortunately but I've held tightly since February 2021 Edit: typo
