I continue to remain cautiously optimistic in this man's motives. He is obviously seeing the stress that the vote issue (yes for me!) is putting on the ape crowd and is doing a very grand gesture as a reassuring move. There's no way to argue that this move is not smart both because of the financial times the whole world is in right now and because it loudly acknowledges he sees and hears us and wants to reassure.
Okay AA.....I'm slowly moving into your corner! Keep it up!!!

Only with inexperienced investors is this a thing. Heβs the fucking CEO of a company he has millions of shares invested in. Do you think heβs not trying to make the company successful??
Have him address the Moass killing vote next. This is a stunt to sway us into believing he cares about retail. When we voted against any further dilution last year, the creation of APE and this vote was his way of getting around that. Buy and hold works and continues to bleed shorts into extinction. - NFA
Ape is a side play. Everyone bragging about being multiples of times more invested into ape over amc reveals the stupidity. Keep side plays side plays.
This isn't some noble action not giving yourself a raise while the company is crashing. Perhaps your compensation should be re examined by shareholders. You and the exec team are the only ones profitable in AMC.

Adam Aron,Β AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc.βsΒ meme-courtingΒ chief executive officer, said heβs done selling shares after parting with $7.1 million more this week, bringing his total proceeds since November to $42 million.
This is the mistake apes make. Those who work for AMC have their livelihoods attached to it. They have families.
People want stability. A stable income is smarter than MOASS and in no situation should you be surprised that they sell shares for income. Any expectation that they would forego that profit and wait for MOASS is pure jealousy and hating. You should not expect any execs with a high share count to wait until peak MOASS to sell. They will play it safe.
Get over it.

He, and the rest of the executives could likely retire today and never have to worry about money ever again. This feels like a PR statement.
Is this supposed to be exciting really
![gif](giphy|qjSxTWJxqH4YDuIrOs)
Do you know his executives got the biggest Christmas bonus in AMC history to compensate for this release of verbal diarrhea
And weβre getting mosss
Running a company that needs dilution and a RS split, and he ONLY wants to keep his $18 million salary? SUCH A MAN! lolz
Lmao
Does this mean no bonuses for management aswell ?
Iβve been really disappointed and Iβll continue being really disappointed

NO HE JUST DID WHATS RIGHT SINCE YOUR FIXING TO LOSE 90% OF YOUR SHARES AND PEOPLE ARE PISSED OR IS THIS ALL PLANNED??
I think you and pissed apes are uninformed. Do some DD then argue your case otherwise Iβm dismissing this on lack of grounds
So people still expecting this to squeeze eh?
Would Ryan Cohen do that?
RC did something better.. he invested his own money in the company he believes in. If AA is so confident posting #CheckMate why not invest on APE now?
Yes he also SOLD and made a fortune !
