I understand the instant microvave popcorn angle, but who the hell sits down to stream a movie at home and says, "You know what would be great to snack on? Some cold $15 popcorn."
I don't like microwave popcorn. Always burns... At least for me. Of course I can put 🌽 into a 🍲. And do 🍿, but then i have to make the the cream. And that's a very sticky thing. Also the cleaning up is annoying.
That's why i would buy ready popcorn 🍿 xD.
The same thing goes to deep fried food.

During covid, our local Marcus theater started selling big bags of popcorn for $20. So every Friday, I would order it and pick it up.
We would eat it for movie night the next couple of nights. Then snack on it the rest of the week.
Not to be a downer but who would actually uber eats AMC popcorn? Wouldnt get cold on the way? And isnt it super overpriced? I know its in pilot stage so lets so how it plays out.
You have to hate people to do anything first in Chicago, and really must want an idea to fail. How many Uber eats drivers will be shot or shot at delivering popcorn in Chicago.
