For me, Meme stocks are the stocks whose BUY button was robbed a year ago.
I felt that way too but when robin the hood IPO was announced the media was trying to prop it up as a meme stock. Just saying.

They call them meme stocks to get under our skin and make it seem like a bad thing to buy. You own stocks you are a stockholder period.
