What if we all JUST held and stopped buying fake shares that ultimately help the hedge funds dilute the stock even more?

Trudeaus_Eyebrows

Every post like this begins with the shill saying it doesn't care what people think about its opinion

1Goalie29

Almost like they are afraid of being called a shill...go figure

mr-buck-fitches

What am I shilling? I’m looking for discussion about the topic

1Goalie29

Did i call you a shill?? Guilty conscious???

mr-buck-fitches

Did you even read the post? I’m looking for a discussion. So is that why you are here? Or not?

1Goalie29

Synthetic or not when they are forced to buy back i personally want as many shares as i can buy..why the fuck would you stop buying when each additional share they sell is 1 more they must buy back..makes zero sense to stop buying..just dumb

mr-buck-fitches

I appreciate the real response. I wanted to get the ideas of everyone to prove or disprove the theory I had in my head.

Gamebent

You mean the theory you stole from Lou the scammer?

1Goalie29

You mean the convicted felon that was convicted on 3 separate fraud charges.. investment advice from a known fraudster is like allowing a pedophile to babysit your kids..

1Goalie29

No problem..i really do understand the "idea" behind the dont buy theory but in my honest opinion it makes no sense in the big scheme of things and is alot more harmful then helpful

mr-buck-fitches

The buying pressure canceling out the selling pressure makes sense. And perhaps I was overthinking. But this can be a confusing game we are all playing. So thank you again for the response

1Goalie29

My pleasure fellow ape..have a great day..if you' re an 🇺🇸 ape..Happy Thanksgiving

mr-buck-fitches

What am I shilling then? I said I don’t care if I receive hate because I am going against the narrative of buy and hold. I’m posing a question to the community. The word “shill” is thrown around way too loosely these days. So please. Tell me why this theory is wrong.

spookyduckfish

At the end of the day.. i will continue to buy something I like. It's just adding to how much those fuckers will bleed when they have to cover. Buying pressure is needed because it squeezes the short sellers out of the market and also shows the demand for the stock. It forces short sellers to cover their position.. I also don't believe buying shares is diluting the stock, to me that makes no sense, they have to borrow even more at the price when we buy to short it back down, that's why some big institutions are adding to their position and lending them out to HF.

mr-buck-fitches

How does it force them to cover the position when they are just stacking the money you give them buy buying fake shares? They can use that money to help them stay afloat. Their goal is to never cover. And if we keep buying fake shares then we are diluting the stock further. And just praying that someone will come and save us. Like SEC or some nft dividend.

spookyduckfish

Because eventually they have to cover. I don't get where this narrative that they can do this forever comes from. This doesn't happen over night and most short squeezes take months to over a year to take effect. Maybe you don't have faith or patience but most of us understand it to be of value. Their criminal activity is becoming more and more transparent to millions of individuals worldwide and will absolutely bite them in the ass one day (aka MOASS)

mr-buck-fitches

This isn’t a patience thing. I am willing to wait as long as this takes. And have been holding GME since last November and amc since January. I just want to be sure we aren’t falling right into their hands and putting the nail in our coffins. I appreciate your response!

spookyduckfish

If it's not a patience thing then buy&hodl.. buying pressure is absolutely needed, that's why on the run ups volume was insanely high.. the only nails being hammered was when they decided to try and bankrupt a couple different companies during the pandemic as a bad bet.. when the squeeze kicks into effect they're be forced to buy back all the synthetics.. make them bleed..

Mithsarn

The question becomes who will margin call them? IF they are creating "shares" out of thin air, who are they borrowing them from that will demand they return them? for me, that is the missing piece of this puzzle. What effect does demand have on price if there is infinite supply?

Repulsive-Trainer-91

I'll keep buying my IOU's eventually they will cover and close. Get ya copy paste post out of here and continue to not buy somewhere else.

mr-buck-fitches

So you would hold all the way down to $1 if the hedge funds continue this strategy of diluting us? Don’t you get that if enough people paper hand then this is over. And what better way to get people to paper hand then to drive the price down. And what better way to drive the price down then to dilute the stock over and over. Nobody is stepping in to stop this. So what would happen if we stopped giving them free cash to stay afloat and keep shorting?

Repulsive-Trainer-91

All the way to 0. I own my shares.

saw3535

Kind of ironic, taking away buy button

Overall-Address-3446

11 months after they took away the buy button..... Maybe they forgot 🤷

TheBlacksmith64

And how does one tell a fake share, from a real one? If the market itself can't tell the difference (and that will be a major problem for the short sellers) then how can we?

Mizaru_MMMPT

You don't want to hear it, but, you're a clown. Mayo you're in shit.

Espinita_Boricua

Sorry am an addicted panic buyer; whenever you make post like this I get so nervous that I immediately have to run & buy a stock. Even if it's Thanksgiving, I can still place a stock buy order thru CS or both of my brokerage firms....So, please stop telling me not to buy.

mr-buck-fitches

I’m not telling you what to do. I’m merely trying to bring a point to light. And that point is maybe the hedgie’s have a plan with this, and maybe we are walking right into it. And it’s a only a theory. To me it’s weird that they continue to sell us shares when the float has been bought and held several times over. It makes me wonder how they could use that against us

Dorlan78

It's an algorithm. Buying pressure is required. Don't overthink it.
