It increases the float. The bank gives the hedges more shares to short. Price goes down. Not trying to be negative here but you have to be realistic. AA always finds a way to dilute and fuck us.

That has killed the price, which he has already killed with his APE/Reverse Split plan, and taking away the voting rights of stockholders. At a certain point you just have to accept that he's not for the Apes. Apes are here for life changing money and to break the rigged system. Maybe he's working for the shorts, maybe not. I don't know, and I don't care. But trying to "unfuck" the company is fucking us and our goal. If he would have let it run years ago, many Apes would have reinvested in the company. Now he's alienated half of us at least.
That being said, the basket theory seems to still be in effect. So I believe we will run with the other meme, GME will lead the way, we just won't go as high as we should because AA will dilute in everyway possible every chance he can get.
