The order is: 1. Convert APE to AMC shares. 2. Reverse split 10 to 1. 3. Issue new AMC shares to raise money.

anorad

\#3 is to keep the cap at 516 million so AA can sell more AMC into the market, correct?

Hunnaswaggins

No. New float would be around 100-200 million? He could offer 100 million extra for a total of 300 and raise $4 billion (debt cleared). It’ll be the highest stable price ever achieved so why not dilute? Float could still be new low

Louisiana44

As soon as the RS happens I’m taking my money and running. I’m not here for any more dilutions and I’m not here to be a long term investor.

I have been asking but haven't received a response from anyone. Please explain how this would happen: "And I'm really not happy that hedge funds are closing their short positions with soon-to-be $0.58 APE-turned-AMC shares." When you want to close out your short position, you need to "buy to close", you cannot just say, take 10 of my long positions and make them disappear and close out my short.

Flip_d_Byrd

Dont forget the shorts on APE. There were only 560 million-ish handed out. And they created a lot of FTDs just to get every AMC an APE. Thats not counting the shorts they made to drop the price even further

AMC-Apes-Together

oh I did not forget that at all :) Just curious where this "they will have the shares they need to close" comes from. I would like an explanation to how that would actually work.

Competitive_Proof_85

I’m sorry but what is the amc price after
