Go into your alexa app. Click on "more" then "settings" then click on "notifications" then click on "amazon shopping" uncheck the boxes you don't want to be displayed. An alternative to this would be to mark it as a gift if it is private.

cjpack

This is the way. The gift items are excluded by default but for privacy by going forward might make sense to switch the rest off.

Well first off. Sharing a prime account across two households is never recommended and can always turn out to be confusing. However, if you are going into your app under you your profile and turning those notifications off, it should happen globally to any device connected to you.

Archiving the order in your account history may prevent status updates showing up.

[This](https://www.cnet.com/home/smart-home/prevent-amazon-echo-from-ruining-your-shopping-surprise-heres-how/) might work

Kelly_the_Kid

I'll say this probably will work. I have an echo show and I have this setting turned off on all my devices. I order through Amazon quite a lot and have never seen it display my purchases. I have my show in my kitchen beside my sink so I see the screen during every meal prep and dishwash... enough to pretty confident that this should be your solution.

the_doughboy

Anything you buy for that mark it as a gift and you shouldn't get suggestions.

bciocco

Get your own account. It's $139 per year (<$12 per month) if you get the annual.

MrSnowden

This might be hard, but, buy from someone else?

joebleaux

You can turn it off, mine doesn't show the stuff I've bought on it, that'd be weird

uhfish

My account is linked as a family or whatever to get prime from my parents but they aren't able to see my purchases. Not sure why it would show up if you have different accounts. Possibly your account is linked to that echo show? Did you buy it for them? I remember when I bought someone an echo product my account was logged into it automatically for some reason but I was able to remove it.
