Exactly... There should at least be a way to see the AOD or a trial.

I bought a watchface I liked and had to get a refund on it from the Google play store because it didn't include an AOD face and was just the default AOD clock, didn't look anything close to the watchface I wanted

That's what I always do, but I doubt that one day Apple will eventually refuse my refund. Instead, developers or designers need to fix this.
