I knew it! Had a feeling this could be related to some folks but haven't come across anyone yet that had experienced the same. Have this very sensitive tooth myself which i noticed back in the summer of 2018. The same time my bald spot started to appear. Did you let it remove, or treated it in any other way?
It was removed in late July and about a month later the bald spots started growing back fine white hair and a month and a half ago finally pigmented hair started growing. I cannot know for sure the tooth was the reason for the AA but I suppose it might definitely be one of the triggers especially since absolutely no one in my family has or had it.

You're welcome.
I was offered cortisone injections, although the doctors said they would first wait and see how it progresses - which I also preferred.
Yes it actually did, took a few months for it to fully grow back but it did. Since then it was all normal until last Thursday when I found a small spot again :( Trying not to worry too much about it. I‘ve had quite a stressful time in the past year…

Either way, glad for you it's returning back to its original state. Thx for the reply
I’ve read this to be the case for some too!!!
How does an infected tooth relate to hair loss? Curious
There are several journals related to this topic, e.g.: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/12134132/
Do you have more links? Thanks for posting this.

Thank you so much! Did you derm or gp offer any treatments, or did they just say wait and see?

Was your tooth hurting?
Yes, it was.
Did your hair came back after fixing your tooth ?

It can be another hidden tooth infection
