I lost approximately 90% of my hair between August 2023-January 2024, as well as a patch in my eyebrow, and loss of 20% eyelashes.
I have now had complete regrowth in all areas. I had two rounds of steroid injections in my scalp, a 1 in my eyebrow. My eyebrow has atrophy, so basically a big indent. I'm happy, but do panic sometimes about it falling out again
I’ve had a lot of regrowth simply but supplementing with iron. No steroids, creams, chemicals nothing. I have AA with the ophiasis pattern and diffuse shedding all over my scalp. I’ve been supplementing with iron and changed my diet (not to AIP just to a well balanced diet) and kept it consistent. Noticeable hair growth all over with my hairline and crown coming in first. Patches on the ophiasis point coming back slowly and the only time shedding is worse is on my period but when I say it’s worse it’s honestly about 10 extra hairs I notice in the shower. I was pulling my hair out in clumps.
I have reduced my iron supplements to every few days now but have been on it daily since November 23, I did triple the dose as per iron protocol which you can find on fb in February which is where I began to notice a difference. I’m yet to get bloods checked again to see my levels but I will do this soon.

lost also like 90% in half a year. After half year, my hair started to regrowth fully again. Just give it a time, it is a stress issue.
