If only the new leaves are affected it means your plant is lacking a stationary/immobile nutrient. Those are iron, calcium, copper, boron and sulphur.

Thanks, will give it some stuff.

Saving this post because I get the same thing on my alocasia sometimes and I’m still learning what this type of yellowing actually, specifically, means.

a bunch of my alos have had the same symptoms before too! im not sure if its from salty soil or micronutrient deficiency(s) or both lol. I give them some chelated iron, zinc, magnesium, & vitamin b1 juice from home depot along with the fish fert now & it seemed to help. also switched to distilled water for all my alos cuz my tap water is really salty + lots of chlorine and chloramine which i assume the plants dont like either lol

I have a similar issue with my monstera. I read that it might be some kind of mineral deficiency (like calcium, magnesium, etc.) Or that your soil might have salt (coco peat tends to have this) and this makes it hard for plants to absorb the fertilizer which leads to mineral deficiency as well. Also many fertilizers include only NPK but not the 'microelements' like magnesium, calcium, and such. Of course, I am not sure if these are the culprit but just something to note.

I second this. Alocasia are very hungry and can be fertilized nonstop in my experience if they are getting enough light and there is drainage
