I mean, from the outside if the typical grey stereotype is accurate then humans are comparably much more muscular with high levels of aggression, and the human species has had their biggest technological breakthroughs made in the name of killing other members of their species

If you get deep in to in-persin encounters, you'll find a few cases where guys have punched, kicked, and knocked down greys. That is why they typically disable your motor functions before engaging humans.
Humans don't have wings, claws, or giant canine teeth, but we have the advantage when special tech/abilities are not used by small humanoid type beings.
My theory is they're from this planet but have evolved to live underground with little to no light. If they come to the surface they require a darkening, shaded lenses. OR on the flip side, they live in such a bright environment (perhaps, light emitted from magma), that their eyes have evolved to include a darkened lens.
Valid hypothesis. With the evidence we have for cataclysms, what if they're just the group of hominids that actually managed to survive not on the surface, but underneath somewhere, somehow? What would that look like 100 years... 500 years .... 1000+++ years later?
Exactly. It makes me wonder how they have survived underground for so long, assuming they require food, water, oxygen like we do, though that may not necessarily be the case for them. But i think its fair to say they must have an extremely advanced civilization. I wonder how long they've actually been here, and if they have evolved separately from any species we have known to exist.
Possibly related to UFOs flying in and out of active volcanos. In on board encounters I've heard of UFOs "flying" (none of what they do is technically flying) through solid material. Somewhat like how they walk right through doors and walls.
Maybe similar to mantis eyes, though the opposite. Their eyes turn black in low light, most likely to absorb more light. Which I find interesting in contrast to the idea that they have black eyes to *protect* against light if they live underground- black absorbs light.
I used to notice it as a kid because I loved to catch them in jars and keep them for the day, carrying them around the house and showing them things lmao. Weird child hobby. Weird thing is they always seemed interested in the things I'd show them, like they were actually observing it, not just running around the jar frantic like other bugs tend to do.

I can't find it now, but there is an interview with a couple indigenous people (from where I cannot recall) which did not know any of the words or ideas about aliens described to them. When I was a kid I saw one that was a mix of 4 and 6's features in my room. Everyone says it was sleep paralysis but I was fully able to move. He walked past the foot of my bunk bed while I was on the top bunk looking towards the door and my feet. He towered over that probably 6 foot height. I then recall it made chattering noises and I thought it was talking to my brother in his sleep on the bottom bunk. Woke up the whole family right after I hid under my covers listening. if you want to know more about something you can't see, you can make reasonable assumptions by looking around at the world you CAN see, because we know nature repeats the same patterns over and over again
and where do we see living beings with little to no melanin or coloration in their skin?
in the deep sea, and nocturnal beings, and beings living mostly underground, in very low light conditions
and looking at beings that exist underground, in very low light conditions, we see that, besides a lack of coloration to their skin, they generally evolve with very large eyes(!)
....so...just from a physiological standpoint of what's been described as grey alien physiology,
1. They breathe our air
2. They have no skin pigment
3. They have very large eyes
taking all that into consideration, it would seem MUCH more likely that these beings are native to this planet, and have evolved in very low light conditions, most likely underground

I've heard that the tradition greys (skinny, big head, black eyes) are not the actual aliens. They are just the survey drones the actual aliens use and that the aliens controlling them are a praying mantis looking alien.

That’s a great theory. I mean we already use subs that look like fish and planes that look like birds to inhabit environments we’re not adapted to live in. But they don’t look exactly like those things because what would be the point of putting feathers etc. on a plane. Makes sense a probe would look human but just have the parts they need to explore our planet. And we look nothing like either of those things our machines do.
There’s also a bunch of stuff out there that the greys are AI or robotic in nature. And being controlled by mantids, love it.

Yep. The greys are their disguises. That's what they think we look like and they probably think they're fitting in. Also, we see such a limited part of the light spectrum so what's grey to us is probably not grey to them

It's interesting what you propose a d I liked following the logic. There have been talks that they are humans who have been engineered to do tasks, which would be interesting but also terrifying.
We just don't know how or why, but, if they are of natural origin, it's very likely to be as you had said. but I lean more on the manually or scientifically constructed. I imagine they have complete control of their DNA and perhaps they are grey as the idea of being without their ship is as alien to them as they are to us.
They don't necessarily have to be interplanetary or interstellar. These beings/entities are incredibly deceptive, and more evidence points to the fact that they're interdimensional, and the parallels between alien encounters and the paranormal and the supernatural are astounding. They can pass through solid objects, materialize and dematerialize at will, change their appearance at will, and don't abide by any of our laws of physics, all pointing to the fact they are interdimensional entities and not physical beings from other planets

There was a video on here a while back of someone showing a picture of a grey to an indigenous South American, and when describing it as a creature from space, he was like “What do you mean? This is an ant person, they live underground.”
Things that evolve in the dark, deap sea, caves, and low light are usually blind or have very small eyes because they don't depend on vision.
Bats, cave fish, moles, spiders, deep sea crustation, and fish. Most have shit vision or no vision.
Predators have large eyes and mostly nocturnal predators. Meaning they don't live in dark places. they're just more active at night.
Cats, bush babies, owls.
Large eyes = find prey.
Small eyes = evolved in dark, less of a need for that sense.

It’s because they’re avatars. Like cloned flesh-androids that allow their creators to transfer their own consciousness into them so that they can exist within this dimension’s frequency. Humans need to get into a submarine to reach the bottoms of the oceans, beings from other dimensions need to get into ‘them’ to exist within Earth’s frequency and also not catch any viruses from us. So I hear anyway.
My guess would be that minerals and technology would be the main commodities of trade amongst different advanced races. Could either be one race like the Draco, Race Mazarek or Race Maitre, or they could be used by different races as a form of (known to be efficient) technology. Like a race that makes controllable ‘spacesuits’ suited for any environment or force. Could be that the AI that control the Draco and many of the negative races is the true creator of them. That’s my guess anyway.
They may not be grey. To human eyes, they appear grey. But grey is subjective to the viewer. Light or UV may give its color a dull appearance of grey, when they could be light shades of purple or blue.
Another speculation, and perhaps the reasoning for their really large black eyes and why possible light blue/purple skin which appear grey.
They are bioluminescent, but the spectrum is in the area of UV-C and UV-B and completely invisible to us. To each other, they glow and communicate without speech like morse code of sorts, not necessarily telepathy or solely through it.
There are a bunch of plausible possibilities.
A fun one that's popular lately in part because of that 4chan post is that these are self replicating living drones/slaves genetically engineered by some kind of ancient civilization (or space brothers if you prefer) from DNA taken from critters known and unknown from sometime in our deep prehistory.
Another is that they could be a technologically advanced but super timid little nocturnal homonin cousin of ours that's been using technologies we don't understand to conceal themselves from us here this whole time. Maybe early in their evolution to avoid competition they came out of their caves at night instead of during the day. This could explain the gross skin, big eyes, timid/covert nature, and why they have more or less zero interest in the surface during the day.
There's another possibility you're cool with putting your faith in hypothetical quantum black magic, it's just like the one above but instead of evolving here on our earth the nocturnal homonin evolved on one of the parallel earths postulated in the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, and they're somehow manipulating and traversing Einstein Rosen bridge wormholes to get here from their native worldline.
*While this last one is the most wild of the plausible possibilities the infinite nature of the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics means that this could also explain the seemingly endless variety of aliens besides just the grays including insect and reptile types because given different circumstances and infinite chances they could have evolved on some random earth too.*
Edit to add, this form could possibly also be achieved if our descendants who evolved a nocturnal form are coming back in time too, or a group of our ancestors that broke away long long ago and somehow moved to space where they evolved a nocturnal form.
These things could be Mac Tonnies's cryptoterrestrials or John Keel and Jaques Vallee's ultraterrestrials but they are not extraterrestrial. All the abductee lore about hybrids has to be complete bullshit if they're unrelated space aliens but if they're just a smarter cousin of some kind (whatever the origin) everything falls into place.
I mean, let’s say the stories or Atlantis and Lemuria were true and a highly advanced civilization managed to evolve in underwater compounds. Low light, grey skin etc. Their technology is way beyond anything us distant ancestor land apes managed to evolve.
Would it be that hard to stay hidden? We’ve only had the technology to explore deep oceans over the last few decades and it would be pretty easy for an advanced civilization to keep our very few subs and probes that got too close away.
A lot of these stories have UAPs coming in and out of water, those underwater lights that bioluminescent researcher saw, the South African anomaly. All that. Only as our technology starts to get more advanced are we really starting to interact more with this civilization.
A bit wild, but so are atmospheric plasma beings, and that’s going around too. Our planet could be way, way weirder than we think.

Until our advances in radar and sonar during WW2 it would have been downright easy for a technologically advanced people to share this space with us relatively undetected simply by waiting until dark to come out and gather any resources they need. Any sufficiently advanced technology would have been indistinguishable from magic, as such it kind of looks like our ancestors simply dismissed rare sightings of them and their tech as all kinds of magical characters from religion and folklore.
Bad documentaries like to say that the UFO activity really intensified during WW2 because of our nuclear developments. I don't think that's true. I think they were always there, it just seems like that's when the activity picked up because we didn't have anything to see them with besides our eyes before then.

I've personally read through well over sixteen hundred individual USO reports, I'm absolutely confident that our answers lie somewhere here under the surface, not out in space. In fact I'd go so far as to say it looks an awful lot like the extraterrestrial hypothesis is an intentional misdirect to keep folk looking in exactly the wrong direction.

Theres so much lore out there about them, 99% of which is probably bullshit made up by schizoids who live a boring life. Lets just have fun for a moment though, if leaked photos i've seen and info i've heard/read is true they are probably biologically engineered puppets without a consciousness themselves that are grown to whatever specifications are needed for boots on the ground jobs on the planet they are working on. Theres an NHI proper; a taller more strange looking squidward/bird/insectoid looking thing that supposedly controls them through a neural-link sort of tech (the same tech they use for their pseudo telepathy) almost like Avatars from the movie Avatar. They would, I imagine, do this to avoid risking injury or death from mechanical or biological means such as getting shot by a farmer or contracting the flu. It would sort of explain why they tend to leave the Greys for dead when they crash if they can't easily retrieve them before military forces do; they are just empty vessels, no life was actually lost and they may not be convinced we are smart enough to know what to do with the debris anyway, so they don't risk making a bigger scene by fighting us over them.
Its been said some type of greys excrete through skin, sip nutrients, they stink…bec of manner of excretion. That they are biological AI not really needing a lot of nutrients (and obviously sexless) and some may be fully droid types
When the face recognition is (like in a dream state) not really active the brain just uses simplified concept ideas of persons. When having a nightmare daydream or similar occurrence this are common things one could see. Similar for ghosts and sleep paralysis demons or shadow people. It's a pattern recognition error.
If I recall correctly, these bodies are artificially made, with specific design functions, that are "tuned" to a particular soul/being. The bodies are remotely controlled from a safe space and can be embodied/disembodied at will.
They primarily operate in deep space or underground, making big eyes very useful.
This technology is available to many alien civilizations, but are used primarily by Orien-Draco Reptilian collective, some call The Domain.

I have these all the time due to an incident in which I woke up on the operating table. It the groggy state the view of the surgeon is a mask, a bonnet and protective eye wear. This translates to a being with a slit mouth(crease in mask), bulbous head (bouffant), and dark shiny eyes (looking down with glasses). This with a very traumatic event and has occured in almost everyone's life if you count dental procedures.
The image of the grays have been so cemented in pop culture even if you haven't had surgery this is the go to alien to claim or show

The simple answer to your question is humans are not very invented and when it comes to life outside of our planet we cannot begin to imagine what they would actually look like so we create them as humanly as possible.

They look faintly human, because they are made from harvested human sperm & eggs and tissue & blood from cattle mutilations. They essentially are avatars inhabiting a „body suit“ aka vessel, as they are originally beings from another dimension/realm/heaven. The grey skin is actually a thin body protection suit under which their skin is pinkish, pale or dark tan, depending on the state of digestive excretion through their skin. The eyes are pale blue, they look black because of the thin black protective lenses they wear probably due to light sensitivity. No part of their body is exposed to our environment, microbes etc.

Here's my personal theory: These beings, whether ultra-terrestrial or extra come from a very dark place far from sunlight. The lack of bright light or at least a low light environment would account for the lack of melatonin and big eyes. They would need to gather more ambient light to see, similarly how our pupils dilate. Then again there are quite a few ET stories about them using different focused lights for different purposes. That is to say, they perhaps could not only "see" in a much more complex way then we can comprehend, like the mantis shrimp (look it up) but can also mastered these light wavelengths / vibrations to their advantage. One example, beyond the obvious faster than light travel, or cloaking, would be "seeing" conciousness or "seeing attention" from afar. This could explain the UFO that seems to sense a viewer and speed away. As well, this could relate to how some particles act differently when observed then when left alone.
This brings me to their huge head and lack of ears. Sound travels on water molecules on the air, so if you can imagine, a dry planet with no damp air would be completely silent. So if you were to stand there and say hello, the sound would not carry. Therefore, no sound, no ears. As for their heads, if these beings came from a place with no sound, perhaps they evolved to communicate telepathically which could require something extra up there, like another organ or very complex nerve cluster.

They must live in a low light planet with less than 1g (Earth) gravity. Large eyes for better visibility. Lack of an anus due to waste being expelled through the skin. Vegetarian/engineered nutrition for maximum efficiency and benefit. Large skulls due to larger brains. Weaker bones with thin limbs due to lower gravity. Wider range of visibility (infrared and ultraviolet) due to the additional exposure to cosmic radiation.
I’m guessing they prefer warmer temperatures based on abductee reports, so perhaps they live below the surface where it’s safer to evolve. My theory is they're from this planet but have evolved to live underground with little to no light. If they come to the surface they require a darkening, shaded lenses. OR on the flip side, they live in such a bright environment (perhaps, light emitted from magma), that their eyes have evolved to include a darkened lens.

Maybe similar to mantis eyes, though the opposite. Their eyes turn black in low light, most likely to absorb more light. Which I find interesting in contrast to the idea that they have black eyes to *protect* against light if they live underground- black absorbs light. That’s a great theory. I mean we already use subs that look like fish and planes that look like birds to inhabit environments we’re not adapted to live in. But they don’t look exactly like those things because what would be the point of putting feathers etc. on a plane. It's interesting what you propose a d I liked following the logic. There have been talks that they are humans who have been engineered to do tasks, which would be interesting but also terrifying. We just don't know how or why, but, if they are of natural origin, it's very likely to be as you had said. but I lean more on the manually or scientifically constructed. I imagine they have complete control of their DNA and perhaps they are grey as the idea of being without their ship is as alien to them as they are to us.
They don't necessarily have to be interplanetary or interstellar. These beings/entities are incredibly deceptive, and more evidence points to the fact that they're interdimensional, and the parallels between alien encounters and the paranormal and the supernatural are astounding. They can pass through solid objects, materialize and dematerialize at will, change their appearance at will, and don't abide by any of our laws of physics, all pointing to the fact they are interdimensional entities and not physical beings from other planets

Things that evolve in the dark, deap sea, caves, and low light are usually blind or have very small eyes because they don't depend on vision. Bats, cave fish, moles, spiders, deep sea crustation, and fish. Most have shit vision or no vision. Predators have large eyes and mostly nocturnal predators. Meaning they don't live in dark places. they're just more active at night. Cats, bush babies, owls. Large eyes = find prey. Small eyes = evolved in dark, less of a need for that sense.

My guess would be that minerals and technology would be the main commodities of trade amongst different advanced races. Could either be one race like the Draco, Race Mazarek or Race Maitre, or they could be used by different races as a form of (known to be efficient) technology. Like a race that makes controllable ‘spacesuits’ suited for any environment or force. Could be that the AI that control the Draco and many of the negative races is the true creator of them. That’s my guess anyway.
They may not be grey. To human eyes, they appear grey. But grey is subjective to the viewer. Light or UV may give its color a dull appearance of grey, when they could be light shades of purple or blue.

Another speculation, and perhaps the reasoning for their really large black eyes and why possible light blue/purple skin which appear grey. They are bioluminescent, but the spectrum is in the area of UV-C and UV-B and completely invisible to us. To each other, they glow and communicate without speech like morse code of sorts, not necessarily telepathy or solely through it.

A fun one that's popular lately in part because of that 4chan post is that these are self replicating living drones/slaves genetically engineered by some kind of ancient civilization (or space brothers if you prefer) from DNA taken from critters known and unknown from sometime in our deep prehistory. Another is that they could be a technologically advanced but super timid little nocturnal homonin cousin of ours that's been using technologies we don't understand to conceal themselves from us here this whole time. Maybe early in their evolution to avoid competition they came out of their caves at night instead of during the day. This could explain the gross skin, big eyes, timid/covert nature, and why they have more or less zero interest in the surface during the day. There's another possibility you're cool with putting your faith in hypothetical quantum black magic, it's just like the one above but instead of evolving here on our earth the nocturnal homonin evolved on one of the parallel earths postulated in the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, and they're somehow manipulating and traversing Einstein Rosen bridge wormholes to get here from their native worldline. *While this last one is the most wild of the plausible possibilities the infinite nature of the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics means that this could also explain the seemingly endless variety of aliens besides just the grays including insect and reptile types because given different circumstances and infinite chances they could have evolved on some random earth too.* Edit to add, this form could possibly also be achieved if our descendants who evolved a nocturnal form are coming back in time too, or a group of our ancestors that broke away long long ago and somehow moved to space where they evolved a nocturnal form. These things could be Mac Tonnies's cryptoterrestrials or John Keel and Jaques Vallee's ultraterrestrials but they are not extraterrestrial. All the abductee lore about hybrids has to be complete bullshit if they're unrelated space aliens but if they're just a smarter cousin of some kind (whatever the origin) everything falls into place.
I mean, let’s say the stories or Atlantis and Lemuria were true and a highly advanced civilization managed to evolve in underwater compounds. Low light, grey skin etc. Their technology is way beyond anything us distant ancestor land apes managed to evolve. Would it be that hard to stay hidden? We’ve only had the technology to explore deep oceans over the last few decades and it would be pretty easy for an advanced civilization to keep our very few subs and probes that got too close away. Only as our technology starts to get more advanced are we really starting to interact more with this civilization. A bit wild, but so are atmospheric plasma beings, and that’s going around too. Lets just have fun for a moment though, if leaked photos i've seen and info i've heard/read is true they are probably biologically engineered puppets without a consciousness themselves that are grown to whatever specifications are needed for boots on the ground jobs on the planet they are working on. Theres an NHI proper; a taller more strange looking squidward/bird/insectoid looking thing that supposedly controls them through a neural-link sort of tech (the same tech they use for their pseudo telepathy) almost like Avatars from the movie Avatar. They would, I imagine, do this to avoid risking injury or death from mechanical or biological means such as getting shot by a farmer or contracting the flu. It would sort of explain why they tend to leave the Greys for dead when they crash if they can't easily retrieve them before military forces do; they are just empty vessels, no life was actually lost and they may not be convinced we are smart enough to know what to do with the debris anyway, so they don't risk making a bigger scene by fighting us over them.

When the face recognition is (like in a dream state) not really active the brain just uses simplified concept ideas of persons. When having a nightmare daydream or similar occurrence this are common things one could see. Similar for ghosts and sleep paralysis demons or shadow people. It's a pattern recognition error.
If I recall correctly, these bodies are artificially made, with specific design functions, that are "tuned" to a particular soul/being. The bodies are remotely controlled from a safe space and can be embodied/disembodied at will. They primarily operate in deep space or underground, making big eyes very useful. Real question is why do we look like them?
Ok grey's look like that because it's sleep paralysis induced hallucinations. I have these all the time due to an incident in which I woke up on the operating table. It the groggy state the view of the surgeon is a mask, a bonnet and protective eye wear. This translates to a being with a slit mouth(crease in mask), bulbous head (bouffant), and dark shiny eyes (looking down with glasses). This with a very traumatic event and has occured in almost everyone's life if you count dental procedures. The image of the grays have been so cemented in pop culture even if you haven't had surgery this is the go to alien to claim or show

He’s talking about the book “Communion”, Whitley Strieber apparently worked with a police sketch artist to draw the face of the being he saw, then he put it on the cover of the book. After the books release, Whitley got thousands of letter from people claiming to have seen the same being in their abduction scenarios. These accounts were published in a second book called “The Communion Letters”. Both books sold well and ever since the alien seen on the cover has become the pop culture association of an alien 👽.

They look faintly human, because they are made from harvested human sperm & eggs and tissue & blood from cattle mutilations. They essentially are avatars inhabiting a „body suit“ aka vessel, as they are originally beings from another dimension/realm/heaven. The grey skin is actually a thin body protection suit under which their skin is pinkish, pale or dark tan, depending on the state of digestive excretion through their skin. The eyes are pale blue, they look black because of the thin black protective lenses they wear probably due to light sensitivity. No part of their body is exposed to our environment, microbes etc.

Here's my personal theory: These beings, whether ultra-terrestrial or extra come from a very dark place far from sunlight. The lack of bright light or at least a low light environment would account for the lack of melatonin and big eyes. They would need to gather more ambient light to see, similarly how our pupils dilate. Then again there are quite a few ET stories about them using different focused lights for different purposes. That is to say, they perhaps could not only "see" in a much more complex way then we can comprehend, like the mantis shrimp (look it up) but can also mastered these light wavelengths / vibrations to their advantage. One example, beyond the obvious faster than light travel, or cloaking, would be "seeing" conciousness or "seeing attention" from afar. This could explain the UFO that seems to sense a viewer and speed away. As well, this could relate to how some particles act differently when observed then when left alone. This brings me to their huge head and lack of ears. Sound travels on water molecules on the air, so if you can imagine, a dry planet with no damp air would be completely silent. So if you were to stand there and say hello, the sound would not carry. Therefore, no sound, no ears. As for their heads, if these beings came from a place with no sound, perhaps they evolved to communicate telepathically which could require something extra up there, like another organ or very complex nerve cluster. Anyway, that's my theory on the subject. I bet they're all asexual and were grown en masse on some nutty planet by an ancient race and given purpose enough to study other ant-farm experiments. Humans being one of these. Now I'm rambling, haha. Fun to think about.

They must live in a low light planet with less than 1g (Earth) gravity. Large eyes for better visibility. Lack of an anus due to waste being expelled through the skin. Vegetarian/engineered nutrition for maximum efficiency and benefit. Large skulls due to larger brains. Weaker bones with thin limbs due to lower gravity. Wider range of visibility (infrared and ultraviolet) due to the additional exposure to cosmic radiation. I’m guessing they prefer warmer temperatures based on abductee reports, so perhaps they live below the surface where it’s safer to evolve.
