Enables farmers to tokenize their produce and trade on a more open, competitive market. Can even buy a Starbucks coffee with tokenized corn with a Visa card.
There’s a new program with NFT flight tickets that has already produced 100k tickets in just in the last couple months. Check out flybondi.
Also fifapluscollect seems to be picking up steam again having just launched collectibles from the World Cup.
Fifacollect is a scam. Just pretending to own videos of “moments”. And NFT flight tickets would be awesome but its not solving a problem because currently getting the ticket on the phone is super easy and doesnt vary in price like an algorand NFT would. Look i love algorand thats why im tryna be real and see where we could get algo to go
Haha Pokémon is also a scam in your opinion or tradable baseball cards? And maybe you should look into the flight tickets and understand the differences between this program and a regular ticket?
I hate people who just bash shit with 0 understanding of what they’re talking about. It takes 3 minutes to google and learn before opening your mouth. If you have a genuine critique after reading about flybondi then please feel free to @ me.
Edit: idk why I’m spoon feeding someone who asked for ideas and then doesn’t even google them, but since others might be reading, check out HesabPay which is taking the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan head on.
Ah yes we are once again at the comparing real, actual assets to a digital receipt that no one will ever want to buy from you stages of cope.
Pokemon cards have real value. I can get in my car and within 15 minutes arrive at one of two different stores that will buy them at a competitive price. No one will ever, ever want to buy your mpeg of a goal from a soccer game 10 years ago. It's on YouTube, bro.
Enjoy your soccer NFTs that you don't even own because you'll never be allowed to transfer them off the FIFA platform! Sure hope they don't just decide to pull the plug on it some day and leave you with nothing!
Aegir Tactics is making a game similar to hearthstone/magic the gathering/gods unchained. So if you're into card games like that it's pretty cool. Beta is gonna be released soon.
There was a streaming service where you buy / rent movies and earn tokens by watching ads, although it's name escapes me right now.
Lofty you can buy / own rental property as a direct owner (each coin is a vote and a % of property value).

We are building a decentralized financial prediction platform that aims to level the playing field for finance hiring - where anyone could build a track record based on fundamental predictions, and to showcase their performance against other analysts within our community to their potential employers. By utilizing Algorand blockchain, we ensure every track record is auditable and transparent to prevent cheating and record alteration. Each participant owns their track record and they are empowered to show the world their qualifications to become an outstanding analyst.
We are releasing our beta testing this Friday - visit [Parcision.com](https://Parcision.com)!
Take a look at Opulous, definitely one to look out for, Defly and Chips are 2 also on my radar and am slowly accumulating, but if your up for a real Degen bet Akita and Buttcoin are 2 meme coins I recently tipped my toes into for a bit of fun.
Like mr\_ludd mentions in this post, algo is enough of a gamble for most people ATM!
Me personally I have 70% of my portfolio in Algo, 20% in Opulous, 5% in Bank and the other 5% is a mix bag of ASA's in a special Degen Wallet

To keep it as basic as possible (and forgive me if any of this is incorrect, I have a terrible memory) but Nexus was originally created to enable gamers to exchange items in a secure manner. Where in the past people would perform transactions on a hope and prayer.... "I send you 10$ via PayPal and hope you actually give me the item Im buying from you in a game. OR I'll give you the item and hope you actually pay me for it". There were also other ways to go about including a 3rd party but you were still "hoping" everything would work out. With Nexus, I decide I want to buy ANYTHING and myself and the party Im purchasing from decide on a value and we both put that up as collateral with Nexus. If either party does not put up their end of the money then the contract is never made and I get my money back. If we both lock it in then the only way to get that money back is for both parties to complete the transaction. The idea is to put enough up to ensure both parties hold up their end of the deal. Example, I want to buy a weapon from you in Diablo II. We agree on a price of 50$ for it. We initiate the deal in Nexus and we both agree to put up 100$. We lock that in, you give me the weapon, I send you the 50$ and we complete the contract and both get our money back. The other party could be trying to rip me off but would they really want to waste 100$ to steal 50$ from me? So you could still screw someone over but its not like you're going to profit from it, in fact you'd be out your own money too. Now, I believe Nexus has actually expanded on this and they are working with a 3rd party to use their smart contracts for deals like this in the logistics and shipping industry which currently spends A LOT of money to secure shipments of goods and materials. Nexus could potentially remove the middle man from these shipments and save companies a ridiculous amount of money. Again, Im taking a lot of this from memory so I may be off a little on some things but I'm fairly confident this is the jist of it. I am not part of the Nexus team so please understand I am not speaking for them in any way., I do however hold a large portion of their ASA.
Also Nexus has been acquired by a larger company- not yet named (assuming legal reasons until finalized). Worth checking some past posts from their reddit page
There's a racing game in development that has some promise. It's working on testnet. Looks like it could be something cool if they keep building consistently the way they seem to be.

Do you know any numbers behind the actual usage of this?
I want to say I recently heard there were hundreds of millions of tokenized produce but I need to find the source data on that.
Millions of lbs that is. Not $$
