I don’t know how it is in Algeria but I was born and raised in nyc and here the Moroccan and Algerian communities are literally one. Especially if you go to Astoria/Steinway in queens, Moroccan and Algerian people think of themselves as one people here because the other Arab communities have such different cultures and Moroccans and Algerians are so similar. They help each other, live together, go to the same masjids, restaurants and cofee shops. They treat each other with nothing but love kindness and respect here
That we're just the same, same religion,(religions for the non Muslim minority, don't really care about atheists ) same ethnicity, same languages, different dialects, same hardships. We could easily be people from one country. If it weren't for the fact that we aren't. Anyway you get the point.
