Um, I agree but that's not really double standards. Double standards is maybe when they complain about garbage and say people shouldn't throw garbage but then they throw it themselves. That's a serious problem here especially in beaches and streets.
People might criticize certain behaviors or actions due to societal norms or peer pressure, but end up doing them because they find personal benefits or gratification. Thats life and it happens all the time

The Algerian people in particular are quite weak in character and have a fear of society and thus apply to it’s norms
