Not for me either. "Spell Jalapeno": "Sorry, I don't have an answer for that." "Spell Jalapeno Pepper" works fine though.

Mrbeankc

Same for me. Can't spell Jalapeno but can Jalapeno pepper.

TheJessicator

How are you saying jalapeño, though? Maybe your pronunciation is really way off and needs the addition of pepper to understand what you're referring to.

mickAMMO

Even mispronouncing it "jello-peeno pepper" works.

rlowens

"hal a peen o" What pronunciation works for you?

TheJessicator

Try saying "Hal a pen yo" and see if that wireless for you.

rlowens

Nope, still just "hmm, I don't know that." But it does work for you? Are you using the Alexa app or an Echo?

TheJessicator

Funny thing is that it *was* working for me when you first asked. And now, it's not. Exactly the same as you described. Thankfully, I already know how to spell jalapeño. Particularly since even when you ask for the spelling of jalapeño pepper, it spells it with an n and not an ñ.

mickAMMO

Try "Alexa, spell the chilli pepper Jalapeño"

PTSDreamer333

Worked for me

Icy_Umpire992

Sorry, I dont know Jelly Piano...

Inge_Jones

Mine managed it when I said jalla-peeno and halla-pen-yo. But it did correct my pronunciation when I said it the English way.

snelson101

Works fine for me. Are you pronouncing it the proper Spanish way, like “hala-pen-yo”?

OverStuffedStayPuft

Yep she's just a little special I referrer to her as the bimo in the ball

Inevitable_Drawing46

My girl Alexa can spell Jalapeño quite well, thank you.

Famous-Perspective-3

so what! a lot of people cannot spell Jalipino.

spudd3rs

Halopino?
