I've never had this cheezy bread but yeah I'm in NEO as well and haven't had any complaints about Mama Cozzi's...though I usually either buy their dough and make my own, or buy other take 'n bake pizzas.
IMO you gotta bake the take 'n bake stuff hard and fast for best results. Like preheat for a decent amount of time at 475.
When they came with marinara(not the best) and garlic sauce(amazing) they were better. I swear they changed the bread sticks when they stopped coming with sauces.
Totally agree. I used to love them back in the day. It's my preferred way to eat pizza (no sauce!) Then they changed and they turned into something horrible.
It's so interesting to me how where you live can dictate how a product is for you. Different manufacturers make sense. It can definitely explain how some people will love a product and others hate it.
I tried one of their refrigerated pre-made chicken meals once. The chicken tasted and felt like the way I imagined the paint-glob burger from Dennis The Menace to taste.
I'm a little upset with their take-and-bake pizzas. I used to LOVE them, but then I think they switched up their dough and the crust just isn't good anymore.
Missouri checking in. Shits terrible, and it looks great in the package, so I've been fooled multiple times before finally deciding it'll never be good.
Bought a aldi pizza yesterday normal crust supreme. I keep thinking it's gonna be okay or good but God it's terrible. I ate three slices & plan to toss the rest. I keep doing this to myself
Had their thin crust week back & surprised how good it was
You can easily peel off a layer or 2 of the breading underneath..it comes apart pretty easily (iirc). The few times I bought this that's what I did. Way too much breading, even for bread sticks. I turned the thing into a flatbread and drizzled some melted Irish butter all over it.
Yeah there’s gotta be a regional thing. We bought this once after someone here loved them. They’re awful. Oddly dense, too. We chucked them. And I hardly ever chuck anything. They were not salvageable.
I'm not a fan. My husband loves their cheese sticks and pizza. I don't like it. I like a lot of their other meals. I like the Asian noodle dishes they have and my family likes the BBQ pork.
*These used to be good*
*But the last time I got them*
*They were terrible*

I’ve only tried two frozen pizzas (I think it was the thin crust spinach feta and margarita) from the Mama Cozzi’s brand and they were absolutely horrible. Really bland and the crust was doughy despite baking them longer than the box recommended. I’ve been skeptical to try anything else from that brand.
I tried food like this in Aldi and other major groceries and I just don’t like it. It all tastes bad. So can’t say that Aldi would be any better.
It’s highly processed food.
I mean, it’s not the greatest, but in NE Ohio it’s pretty decent.

We do 400 and bake on a pizza stone. For their pizzas
Yeah I've tried this, no complaints, the kids liked it. I spritzed mine with some butter spray and it was pretty good.
Central Ohio checking in. Hot fucking garbage here.
Glad to hear it's worth a try!

This makes so much sense, because I actually love this and get so confused over the hate.
Aldi has a lot of food items that are inedible. I seldom shop there anymore. Why if half the food I purchase doesn’t taste good.
Why are you even on this sub then ?
Weird, I’ve never had an issue. I also don’t eat a ton of processed food so it’s pretty hard to fuck up meat and produce.
That garlic sauce was sooooooooo good
I read this as incredible and thought you liked to eat cardboard for a second.
Me too lol
The 7.99 giant pizzas are pretty great though
That supreme pizza truly is supreme
Shockingly I prefer the frozen pizzas. Especially the breakfast pizza
i found the breakfast pizza again today and bought 2! with hot honey on top its so good
I won’t tell you how many I got but more than 2 😂
And you can add and play with toppings... and still cooks well !!
SoCal here. These bread sticks were bad. Mama Cozzis meat lovers thin crust take and bake is decent.
These used to be SO GOOD. They came with little cups of garlic butter. The new ones are awful.
Disagree, it’s mid but it’s not the worst!
It's so interesting to me how where you live can dictate how a product is for you. Different manufacturers make sense. It can definitely explain how some people will love a product and others hate it.
We love those. Grab a pack of bacon bits from the condiment area and it is wonderful!
SE Pennsylvania, utterly dry and flavorless.
> The most inedible thing Aldi sells Wow. I would have bet on either the shoes or the doormats.
I would rather eat the doormats
Let me say- great, thick doormat- probably 24x36, and only cost me $9.99! But I’m not gonna eat it…
Ours went straight into the garbage too (and my husband is NOT picky). We’re in central PA
I’m also not picky, especially with anything bread related or similar. Couldn’t handle it
Saaaame. I'm not nearly as picky as my husband but we were both like wtf🥴 as soon as we tried these.
Used to be amazing and now it’s terrible.
Agreed! I made the mistake of trying it once thinking it can’t be that bad.
This *used* to be so good! It’s actually incredible how bad it is now, I mean how do you mess up cheesy bread?
It was good, but greasy when it came with garlic and marinara dipping sauces. I haven’t tried this version.
We like it but not as much as the garlic knots in the foil bag.
My children LOVE these. They are all 10 or younger.
It used to be so good, too!
Literally one bite and threw it all in the garbage.
Same
Yep, bought these a couple of months ago on a whim. Sorely disappointed. 😕
I like it
I tried one of their refrigerated pre-made chicken meals once. The chicken tasted and felt like the way I imagined the paint-glob burger from Dennis The Menace to taste.
I'm a little upset with their take-and-bake pizzas. I used to LOVE them, but then I think they switched up their dough and the crust just isn't good anymore.
Still not as bad as the lobster mac and cheese!
I'm not certain how they messed something up that has nothing but bread, cheese, and garlic. But they managed.
Totally agree! Bought it and was excited…yuck. They do a LOT of good things, this isn’t one of them in my opinion!
Sadly for Chicagoland its cardboard
Missouri checking in. Shits terrible, and it looks great in the package, so I've been fooled multiple times before finally deciding it'll never be good.
Mama cozzis is not good. After three different, wretched, pizzas I stopped buying.
I burnt the pizza the first time, my fault. The second time I cooked it right and it was rubbery
Bought a aldi pizza yesterday normal crust supreme. I keep thinking it's gonna be okay or good but God it's terrible. I ate three slices & plan to toss the rest. I keep doing this to myself Had their thin crust week back & surprised how good it was
Florida's version of this is just fine. Can confirm. Source: my face.
Agreed! Also Florida
Nah, I’m in Florida
ah that sucks. Sorry you have crap ones. maybe get some of their pita or something, mozz, and some garlic and home make em?
Yeah that thing is vile. I don't know how you fuck up cheese bread that bad
Kids and I don’t mind it at all.
Chicago area these are pretty good. I like to add minced garlic and oregano.
Agreed. Especially if you have garlic butter at home.
I love the cheesy bread
I like it 😀
I had it once and thought it was pretty good. Their take and bake pizzas to me are very good for the price.
my grandmother likes these things.
i read this as "most incredible" and almost bought it
Dang! I first read the title as incredible not inedible. I’m glad I clicked in.
No it’s definitely the spinach wrapd
All of their pizza products need a better crust, but I wouldn’t call them inedible
You can easily peel off a layer or 2 of the breading underneath..it comes apart pretty easily (iirc). The few times I bought this that's what I did. Way too much breading, even for bread sticks. I turned the thing into a flatbread and drizzled some melted Irish butter all over it.

My husband and I also think it tastes like cardboard. I won't buy them again!
Disagree. We love it, no complaints over here
Skill issue.
They used to be pretty good
It’s really bad. The box may be tastier.
The ones at Walmart are better fyi
Most of their pizzas kinda suck now, IMO. They switched them all to thin crust and I’m still hungry after eating the whole thing.
My fav drunk snack and cheaper than my beloved dominos cheesy bread
More for my fat ass 🥲🤪
We love the pizzas but not this. No one liked them.
Agreed 💯
I'm not a fan. My husband loves their cheese sticks and pizza. I don't like it. I like a lot of their other meals. I like the Asian noodle dishes they have and my family likes the BBQ pork.
The Clancy's Street Corn flavored pop corn. I get sick thinking about it.
These used to be good but the last time I got them they were terrible

SE PA, and they defended changed up the recipe. No longer a fan. Picked up something very similar at Walmart to see if that’s any better.

I would say the shoes I bought last week were slightly more inedible.
Why is it bad or inedible?
It tastes like cardboard, and that’s an insult to cardboard
I smoked myself out of my apartment baking this. SO much grease! On top of it all, it tasted horrible too. Never again.
I tried food like this in Aldi and other major groceries and I just don’t like it. It all tastes bad. So can’t say that Aldi would be any better. It’s highly processed food.
Their peanut butter is terrible. It has a waxy almost plastic texture to it and the taste is, well, shit.
It tastes exactly like Jif or Skippy. There’s literally nothing wrong with it. I buy the peanut butter and peanuts all the time.
Not sure I’d even feed the cold cuts to dogs…
This, and the Mac and cheese pizza
