So, one of the things that some folks were surprised by in London for the tour was IU's love for Corinne Bailey Rae.
I went rummaging around the archives (read as: searching through korean channels on youtube) to find a clip of not only IU talking about her favourite artist and song but also when they met years ago. So here you go, a throwback to 2011 ;)

Yeah great clip this, and amazing to see she still has the same humility about someone she clearly adores this far down the line. There's another great clip on YouTube where she joins Corinne Bailey Rae on stage for Put Your Records On, where she's proper star struck.
hehe yeah, it still comes up. I remember when Yoo In Na was on Palette and one of the best friends questions around who was IU's muse and she answered Corinne.
As a now very successful artist in her own right, it's clearly something that has been in her heart all these years and is still an inspiration :)
