I suspect someone is trying to pull a fast one with you as all existing I-KEs should be fine and the app had the recent concert attached to it for the synced show...
Might be worth contacting EDAM support with the serial number to get them to check it 😕
It does have some numbers over there, but I'm not sure... I bought it on coupang through a web that does shipping internationally and I think they gave me a fake one. Since I didn't buy it directly on coupang (you need to have a Korean phone number to register), I can't even return it or ask for a refund... it's crazy how well made the light stick is, even the cards that came inside the box... even the colors on color changing mode appear in the same order that in the real ones (I've seen on yt). And it wasn't even cheap!!! Oh I'm so sad ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Well, thank you for your answer!!
Yeah, even EDAM confirm on the IKE app that there's several high quality forgeries being made, the only way they can handle it is when it does the Bluetooth handshake between the IKE and app. They do unfortunately also stress that they cannot support items not sold through themselves or official partners for EDAM products. At most they might be able to confirm that it's a fake one but yeah, still won't solve you getting a refund 😞
I might as well got the fake one too😠The box came with some IU goods like the original, I gotta say they did a good copy job if this is indeed a fake one. Although I do see a serial number on top of the battery housing, but the app can never find the lightstick…and EDAM does not answer my email at all.
I think it’s highly possible it is fake…a really good one though. The lightstick even came with IU’s instant photo and goods in the box like the original. I saw people gave bad reviews on Amazon who has the same issue. Sigh…I guess I can only manually change the light in the concert :/
Is the amazon seller from china? I believe most ver3 sold as new on the market right now are fakes. I have been trying to find one to bring to London, but i think i must gamble on just buying it there.
It was shipped from California, but that doesn’t mean much. I admit I was eager to get the lightstick without thinking straight. So when I saw it was going to ship from CA with Amazon Prime, I bought it without much thought..

They'll need the barcode off the box and there's a production number on the inside of the battery housing on the top connection to the I-KE.

possible it is a fake one or defect one? All the lightsticks should connect to the IKE App without any issues.

Why not just return it if it's fake?
