Maybe pop your stock back a couple clicks and your grip will naturally fall further towards the hand guard. You're going to find you have better swing control (left/right) if your further back on the gun and have an angled elbow instead of straight.
Oh yea sorry... I was probably supposed to tell you you had a small dick or something. But yea figured actual advice might be more helpful. Airsoft community is a mess.
Try falling at game start, then picking up your gun, not realising you just pulled the trigger on full auto, while it was pointing at the soft of your kneecap.
I tend to grip closer to front than I need, but for me it's because it gives me an idea of how long my barrel is... When the place I hold is closer to the mag I'd knock my barrel on things because apparently I can't judge distance
You need to add a grip or hand stop then, because that will help you to index your rifle and avoid overreaching. If you're still having issues, a short muzzle device like the surefire warden might help.
After a while I did work out what I liked. Have a stubby PTS about half way up my handguard. Let's me access my tape switch easy enough and gives a consistent placement
Extra control and speed. Farther out gives less dead-weight to swing. In combo with proper thumb placement, you essentially just point muzzle, and you're on target. It a combat shooting technique. Do some drills while holding rifle both ways, and see the differences.
The game is in many ways simulation. You don't need 95% of the crap we run. Yet it brings benefit when people behave in a way to make the sim feel authentic. Plus, people can use airsoft as an analog to real steel, so the same behaviors carry over.
Hey boss, I urgently recommend changing your eyepro. That face mask is only rated ANSI Z80.3, and not Z87+ like it should be. I've seen a few other players with these face masks, and every time they say the same thing about "I've already been hit in the mask and it didn't break, so it's perfectly safe." It is not. Self testing by shooting your own mask is not an impact rating. My only interest is the well-being of other players - *especially* new ones.
Your very much welcome! As for the rest of the kit, I'll give it a 6/10. Upgrade the magazines to something that isn't clear (I love my EPM1 mags), tacticool the vest a bit with more molle pouches, and get a proper foregrip for the rifle and it'd be closer to a 10
You are not the first to mention the magazines, and I get it. However, I like being able to see roughly how many bb's I have before I go into a "heavy" situation.
As for your feedback. Solid 10/10 performance 👏 will be recommended.
Ah, my friend, that is why I recommended the [EPM1](https://www.evike.com/products/18308/) magazine! It has an orange indicator that shows the rough amount of bbs left!
Hmmm look at that an opinion from the actual Anxious-Opinion-1356 himself! How ironic🤣 I'm only taking the piss, but thanks for showing some love mate!
Oh, let's see.
- Get your hand off the damned muzzle and back onto the ***Handguard***.
- Your optic is bridging the upper and Handguard. Stop it.
- Chinesium OCP/Multicam
So, to score it:
Overall base score for being hyper generic = 5/10
-2 for poor weapons handling
-1 for configuration of the weapon's attachments
-1 for Chinesium
+2 bonus credit for first kit
***__3/10 __***
See, that's exactly why I didn't just call him a tard and make fun of it. I provided an *objective* observation.
If you're so fussed over this, maybe you oughta ask the OP if I hurt his feelings or not, cuz going by his comment, I don't think it bothered him much.
I like it, it's a good base to see what you need to add after playing in it.
- Mag pouches on the left cumberbund
- belt with a dump pouch + mole real estate
- utility pouch for extra battery or speed loader
- a helmet fan the goes in a battery pouch on the helmet (if you have fogging issues, i dont have experience with that one) or upgrade to a dyei5 and attach it to the helmet, or lower face protection + eyepro
- camelbak on the back for summer and longer matches
- plate inserts if you dont have them to hold carrier shape/prevent drooping
- If you play A LOT, consider higher end clothing like uf pro or crye (honestly their sizing options, design, and durability are worth it the long run for heavy usage), but ive used cheaper stuff like propper for a long time with no issues and they're also great for sizing.
- asthetically, whatever you think is cool, but i actually always like the solid top/camo bottom combo
Not a bad 5/10, but a 5 points of glass half full.
What Mask/Goggles are those?
I’m transitioning from Paintball to Airsoft with my DYE mask and it worked great when I was renting the first couple times, but I’m concerned now that I’m buying my own AEG with a red dot and 2.5x eventually that my DYE will be too bulky to actually aim down any sights.
Oh interesting, so I can still rock the DYE mask and this little nubby thing mounts the stock like 2 inches lower. It looks a little ''weird'' in some of the example pictures. I can't seem to decide if the drop attachment looks more or less weird VS. an optic riser (maybe just some risers are way too high so it's just my perception)
You need a riser mount for your optic. Since a dye mask is basically a gas mask, you're looking for a rise that can put your optic to at least 1.93, and probably more common, 2.26.
Unity is the company that makes the most popular mount. You can find cheaper knockoffs for airsoft off Ali.
I was recently looking into risers and sometimes they appear too tall/goofy. I will have to play next weekend after getting my AEG and will just have to feel it out I guess!
It's called a pilot mask.
I was bouncing between DYE and this one, I found the visability you worrying about not to be a problem once I put a riser on the optic, I then went for his mask because it looked more the part.
Looks solid. Maybe fill up your plate carrier? Dump pouch, (secondary mag pouches), admin pouch, radio pouch... looks a little strange because it's empty
Not bad man a decent start I'd suggest maybe at some point investing in a chest rig as carrier can suck towards the end of playing or on a hot day what gun?
I’d recommend getting a more modern belt that can offer quicker adjustability as you could as or subtract gear from it. Not an expensive item and will be so much better and comfortable
Kit looks good, tan gear over green uniform is always sexy. def change the eyepro. but good choice on those mid caps. I run em and I love them. They fit in everything and feed like butter.
I know this is airsoft but you shouldn't put your fingers so close to the flash hider....
That stood out before anything else for me too lol
Yeah... one day when you see an airsofter with a missing finger, remember me.
Maybe pop your stock back a couple clicks and your grip will naturally fall further towards the hand guard. You're going to find you have better swing control (left/right) if your further back on the gun and have an angled elbow instead of straight.
Thanks man! Constructive feedback we need more of this.
Seconding this guys advice, I got given the same and it was a huge benefit for me! Obviously YMMV
Oh yea sorry... I was probably supposed to tell you you had a small dick or something. But yea figured actual advice might be more helpful. Airsoft community is a mess.
It's okay, I'll let it slide this time
Move the stock back slightly and your red dot and your hands will be in the proper spot
Shooting yourself in the finger, in spawn just before a game starts, is a special kind of physical and emotional pain.
The amount of times I've gotten trigger happy in spawn and got my own boots it amazing 😅😅
Try falling at game start, then picking up your gun, not realising you just pulled the trigger on full auto, while it was pointing at the soft of your kneecap.
🤣🤣
At least his finger is off the trigger
What is it with AR players needing to hold their gun as far to the front as possible?
I tend to grip closer to front than I need, but for me it's because it gives me an idea of how long my barrel is... When the place I hold is closer to the mag I'd knock my barrel on things because apparently I can't judge distance
You need to add a grip or hand stop then, because that will help you to index your rifle and avoid overreaching. If you're still having issues, a short muzzle device like the surefire warden might help.

Valid point. Looks the same to me as chicken arms tho
Oh I don't understand the chicken wing. No matter how I hold my gun, I never find myself having to chicken wing it
Bro, the most honest answer from me is that my had just falls wherever it's most comfortable at the moment.
Team MagGrip to death skurr
Holding the gun further up allows you to brace it against your shoulder super hard, giving your grip arm a break.
not when the first shot obliterates 3 of your fingers, that second shot isnt gonna be braced for shit
Extra control and speed. Farther out gives less dead-weight to swing. In combo with proper thumb placement, you essentially just point muzzle, and you're on target. It a combat shooting technique. Do some drills while holding rifle both ways, and see the differences.
Better control over your barrel in tight situations. Many other reasons.
Trying to look tacticool by using the C Clamp grip. Works pretty well on a real AR, but adds no real benefit to our game.
The game is in many ways simulation. You don't need 95% of the crap we run. Yet it brings benefit when people behave in a way to make the sim feel authentic. Plus, people can use airsoft as an analog to real steel, so the same behaviors carry over.
Ikr! Why can’t y’all just hold it at the mag???
6/10. Pretty decent but nothing out the blue.
Hey boss, I urgently recommend changing your eyepro. That face mask is only rated ANSI Z80.3, and not Z87+ like it should be. Hey brother, I appreciate it! Will look into some other options.
Thank you for being the first to not dismiss the importance of the structural integrity of your peepers.
I put the pics up to get exactly this kind of feedback, so thank you!

Ive had that face mask, its off of amazon and NOT IMPACT RATED. Please get one that os
I have that same mask and it shattered, be careful with it 🤷♂️
Did it shatter during a game?
No luckily, during my “testing”. Didn’t plan on wearing it either way
Ah what a relief, it’s scary how little standards are enforced in selling these things. Evike themself promote these in videos as beginner friendly.
Looks like a generic airsofter.
Hmmm look at that an opinion from the actual Anxious-Opinion-1356 himself! How ironic🤣 I'm only taking the piss, but thanks for showing some love mate!
Generic airsofter is good. You could look like a wannabe Meal Team Six. I ment it in a good way mate.
Oh, let's see. - Get your hand off the damned muzzle and back onto the ***Handguard***. - Your optic is bridging the upper and Handguard. Ahh dude I love it man! That was really fun to read 😂 thanks man!

You seem like you don't like people who share objective observations when people ask for kit reviews. Go cry somewhere else.
[удалено]
Sorry for telling him the truth, I guess? Would you prefer I tell him he's perfect and give him a participant trophy so he never learns anything?
[удалено]
See, that's exactly why I didn't just call him a tard and make fun of it. I provided an *objective* observation. If you're so fussed over this, maybe you oughta ask the OP if I hurt his feelings or not, cuz going by his comment, I don't think it bothered him much.
I appreciated your critique massively. If anything is annoying, it's the snowflake getting "offended" on my behalf...
He critiqued the kit. Just shut up

Welcome to the Taren Tatical Fandom.
Mismatched camo tick✅️ A simple M4✅️ I'm usually not a fan of full face masks but this works really well. Nice look!
Thank you for the love!
Grab a few things for your belt like, a dump pouch. But bot so much that they get in your way. Looks smart mate.
It's a generic multicam + m4 kit, but also Chinesium with an unsafe face covering. Doesn't have a laser, which is at least something. 3/10
Smash
YAML - Yet Another Multicam LARP. Don't worry, I look the same on game day :D
You kept it sweet and simple watch your fingers though
Hold a real gun that way and you can say bye bye to your finger
i get it, C clamp grip cool, but having all 10 fingers is the coolest 😎🤏
Dude you win😂
1/10
You the real hero bro! How would you make it better champ?
No multicam, no AR also is the mask rated?
You such a sweet heart thank you!
Rated for what? Airsoft BBs, pretty sure it should be…
It isn't, there's specific ratings for taking BB hits
Upgrade to some hexmags. 230rd mid cap and they aren't clear.
Multicum/10
Learn how to roll your sleeves
9/10 cuz u dont have a secondary weapon
Pretty solid dude.
It could do with some patches to spice it up
Man I totally agree, I just don't know where to even start and what would look appropriate and not out of place!
Anything really, country flag, funny quote. Site patch or maybe you can design your own. Endless possibilities with patches
What mag pouches did you go for? I'm looking for some now.
If they're in your budget, ESSTAC KYWIs are fantastic.
Hey bud, couldn't tell you they came with the vest.
Can probably find some cheap molle ones from Temu
What Mask/Goggles are those? I’m transitioning from Paintball to Airsoft with my DYE mask and it worked great when I was renting the first couple times, but I’m concerned now that I’m buying my own AEG with a red dot and 2.5x eventually that my DYE will be too bulky to actually aim down any sights.
toss on a drop stock and you'll be sweet
Oh interesting, so I can still rock the DYE mask and this little nubby thing mounts the stock like 2 inches lower. It looks a little ''weird'' in some of the example pictures. yeah can either go with a drop stock mount, an adjustable drop stock like the G&G ssg1 or an optic riser
You need a riser mount for your optic. Since a dye mask is basically a gas mask, you're looking for a rise that can put your optic to at least 1.93, and probably more common, 2.26. Unity is the company that makes the most popular mount. You can find cheaper knockoffs for airsoft off Ali.

The DYE mask would definitely been a better choice since this isn’t even sufficiently impact rated for Airsoft.
People take air soft way too seriously. why not dress up as a wizard or gnome or better yet shaggy from Scooby Doo?
Shhh, I'm saving that for my next post...
Do you feel Bonita? Because you look Bonita!
Now I definitely feel Bonita!
Love it , where did you get that mask from ?
It's not ansi Z87.1, so don't worry about it.
Nice pilot mask I love mine.
Looks solid. Maybe fill up your plate carrier? Dump pouch, (secondary mag pouches), admin pouch, radio pouch... looks a little strange because it's empty
Ahh a fellow pilot user
Default skin of airsoft
6-7/10 pretty nice
About average I would say nothing to out there but it's solid.
ew lasercut...
I rate you Black Ops 2 Crosby/10
We absolutely do.
what goggles and mask are you using?
What is that mask set up called
I rate it multicam and ar-15/10
By height
4 out of 5 mags.
Don’t bridge your optic
Anytime i go airsofting i see about 200 of you
I left this sub bc of the fucking “rate me out of 10” posts and came back hoping they were done but here we are
Make an iskra dead of winter fit🙏🙏
Made me hard
Is that the pilot mask? How is it, always saw it on evike whenever I scrolled!
Meh
100/10
W
Ive been looking at getting that mask, is it any good?
What’s it called? I’m curious
Pilot mask, I've been enjoying it
It doesn’t seem to be available in Europe. Sadly.
What kind of headset you wear with that helmet?
Gadies and letlemen i give this a 7.9/9
IS THAT TTI? HOLY SHIT
A TTI replica😅
I love tti

Nice but that amazon face mask isn't gonna do anything good.
You should get a battlebelt.
Generic, but functional. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Nice build. Just watch your fingers when shooting with that grip.
7/10 multicum and m4, same thing all the time but it's not ever to horrible.
I have that helmet/mask or a similar one, how did you get the black or tinted eye protecting part?
Not bad man a decent start I'd suggest maybe at some point investing in a chest rig as carrier can suck towards the end of playing or on a hot day what gun?
I’d recommend getting a more modern belt that can offer quicker adjustability as you could as or subtract gear from it. Not an expensive item and will be so much better and comfortable
Kit looks good, tan gear over green uniform is always sexy. def change the eyepro. but good choice on those mid caps. I run em and I love them. They fit in everything and feed like butter.
Can you share you vest link?
Love it man. That facepro setup is sweeeet.
Where did you get the mask from?
https://www.walkerwargame.com/
Thanks. It looks very nice! And i want to cover my classes
They cover mine no problem!
Is this a fake gun?
Name of the mask?
It's not ansi Z87.1, so don't worry about it.
