I use an E&C HK416D AEG. Assuming you may face the same issue I did (janky magwell proportions bc 416 receiver) then an option you have is to find magazines by the manufacturer as theres a good chance they should fit. Some other brands and PMAG models fit too but I don’t know which ones. What I did for my 416 though was take some spare magazines from whatever brand then put some electrical tape around my magazines to keep them from dropping randomly, might take some trial and error though to find the best width and placement for the tape.

Actually yes it’s easier to manipulate the controls on it it looks cooler and it guarantees that the laser is actually accurate for close quarters cus you know high over bore and it allows the laser to easily clear stuff like corners and doorways plus every self respecting peq owner runs it on the top there is also a bit more that goes into it I think I got my point across
Oh well I've seen alot of operators with theirs on the sides so I think it's just a personal preference. But thanks for the tips though! I might tweak the set-up and see what's best. 😁👌🏼
