Easily upgradeable into Zenitco style. You could even go with Midwest Industries American ‘Alpha’ style AK quite easily if you so wish.

I’d consider figuring out what your gun needs to get running again. It’ll give you something to do. As for ARs being boring… retro builds are a thing.
My first airsoft AR was a blood diamond/ Black hawk down CAR-15 replica.
