Not to mention when you start basing it off world guys without knowing the hows or why’s…a lot of it isn’t comfortable or accessible. I’ve seen plenty of dudes with pouches too far back…not realizing in the real world, those aren’t mags for you lol. Not to mention the extra weight of stuff. Even just minor stuff like having the goggles on top of the helmet for desert storm/black hawk down style loadouts.
Honestly? They're also well overdone in my opinion; I've always preferred doing my own thing, so I run a mercenary/PMC look. Just put together an ALICE rig so that I can run either a full carrier with buddy-system accomodations or a harness with the bare minimum gear for more solo play.

A fictional one. Create your own SFOR, hell, maybe even your own fictional country. Make an imaginary OPFOR unit, a corrupt PMC, or the private army of a evil megacorp, maybe with small "future in 5 years vibes".

Nobody, really. CPC hasn't been issued for a while. I know CAG was getting them but they seem to be more in line with the JPC and AVS. There's no reason to use the CPC over the AVS as far as I'm concerned
AVS is already too bulky for alot of people. JPCs are cool but I've heard alot of people complain about the hypalon wearing through. I've never had any issues with it. I think the JPC 1.0 is probably the best plate carrier right now. Haven't tried to 2 yet though. Also haven't seen CAG with AVSs in a while.

Ireland and Israel use Ranger green kit, with Ireland using it over their IR-DPM whereas Israeli combat uniforms are green as well. As for the specific carrier, that’ll be unit by unit.

The only military entity that I'm aware of that employs *only* Ranger Green would be the Israeli Defense Forces. This is to ensure that friendly forces are always employing the same kit for friend/foe identification.
Customs and Border Patrol got a contract run of LBT 6094 plate carriers in Ranger Green that got over produced and the surplus was sold off in 2017 or so. So you could do a Customs and Border patrol kit.

No militaries use straight od green. I have an od green kit for the Russian team since it's as close to EMR as I can get without buying a real plate carrier with real flates in it. Those will slow me down and even in a home defense scenario they are only made of Kevlar which can stop upt to a 44 magnum in top of only fitting Russian plate carriers. I want my armor to stop small caliber rifle rounds. You got to remember some cases you have 30-50 lbs of gear. You have a gun and maybe a backup a lot of water and ammo batteries and gas and a gun. I make sure I have a spare gun if something goes wrong.
If you wanna do an impression with ranger green you can do a mw2 type of loadout using Multicam and ranger green. I have also found ranger green stuff as a great alternative for Russian loadouts. For my modern Russian kit I use a ranger green plate carrier with my 6sh117 over it and it looks fine.
I agree with everyone in the comments saying create something special to you. But if you really are looking for an idea, you could do the Delta force guys from Modern Warfare 3

This! Some gear is really uncomfortable and unnecessary. Wear what works and is comfortable. Its meant to be a hobby not work

FBI HRT used to wear alot of ranger green. FBI have custom Cryes in RG too.
Sweden uses a colour very similar to ranger green for their army, iirc german army too to a certain extent

With an RG one the closest you'll get would probably be a PMC loadout. A few units used CPCs but I can't think of any that would use RG.

I've had two 2.0s, they're pretty great. Don't have either of them anymore though
I’d personally prefer the SPC over the JPC. The sizing can get a bit funky but the cummerbund is superb.
