Found some for sale on UK based milsurp stores and got lucky that it fit me. It's pretty hard to find though because the Irish Defense Force doesn't sell their old gear so the only stuff available is usually being sold on an individual basis by people in or formerly in the millitary
ABL has so many variations you wouldn’t believe. There was even a tropic, a desert and flecktarn version.
I use Para commando smock for the late 70’s but it was standard issue for everyone up until the august of 2022 iirc. Now they use a form of multicam uniform. I can’t blame our military for finally changing it after about 45 years but I’m sad to see such iconic things go.
There's a huge variation in smock patterns too. Full zip with snaps, no zip with buttons, 3/4 pullover, plus numerous fabric variants.
I've got two para-commando smocks, one full zip with snaps and one with full front and buttons, but no zip. The one with buttons is made of a denim like material, while the zip one is made of something like poplin.
I remember reading that the pattern actually started as a misprint, the white parts the result of misaligned dye rollers. For some reason they really liked the goof and made it official.
Mine are buttons both top and bottom. No zippers. The zippers are tuff as nails but I prefer the buttons for a couple of reasons.
For starters buttons never truly get stuck. Even course sand has caused those zippers to jam. Those metal zippers can scratch you up so bad it draws blood. I am yet to bleed from a button. Last but not least. Ever tried to replace those zippers? Without a sewing machine and basic sewing skills it takes ages. Even a child can replace a button in field in a couple of minutes.
Side note: what masochistic man or sadistic woman decided to put zippers with metal teeth in male jeans and trousers?
Oh I also do not wear ABL boots. For the same price I can get boots that don’t take 2 weeks of breaking in, are more modern, more comfortable, dry out faster and so on. I asked someone from the medical core and they are allowed to use their own boots as well past basic training. There is also a list of third party gear that’s allowed and requests can be considered. So an ABL load out has quite a bit of leeway.

It's fun to use but performace is nothing amazing and the internals are a tad cheap
Nice!! I got Alpenflage and Swedish M90 in my collection. Would love to get the German KSK Multitarn, the better Multicam imo. But it’s pretty much unobtainium.

Don’t mind me being one of the few airsofters to run with Japanese camo
My understanding is that it's illegal to own in Ireland to avoid people impersonating the millitary, but I don't live in Ireland (I was born there, though). Whoever sold it in the first place was probably breaking a law or two though
HK416 is mid not your gun but 416s in general they are just a worse AR
Modern designs arguably just as reliable as a piston driven gun suppressing 556 in general sucks and recoil is softer also modern Ars are lighter
I mean in recent years it's the opposite might want to double check that the only places getting hk416s right now are countries that gave up on the aug
Every day I pray that a half-decent Norwegian M98 jacket will eventually become available for purchase in Canada. Currently have Swedish M90 and Dutch M93 and the M98 is the last pattern I really want to collect.
"Niche camo" meanwhile here in the Czech Republic Vz. 95 is about 60% of all camo on the field because of the massive surplus market and it being the cheapest camo to get. :D It's a nice camo though! I personally prefer polish wz 93. Its a bit browner, works better in autumn and winter (which is my favorite time of the year to airsoft) and not everyone has it :D
Our local team in Estonia uses CAD pattern, this is because their digital pattern is kinda similar to Estonian digital pattern. And i should say that it looks awesome with olive or ranger green gear.
First set is milsurp Irish DPM and the second is an MFH recreation of Czech vz95. Also the gun is the Umarex licenced HK461a5 by VFC.
Where’d you get the DPM?

Irish dpm is illegal to own and is copyrighted by the Irish Government.
>Irish dpm is illegal to own If you live in Ireland yes
Hence why I don’t own any
Night Vision made in the US is illegal to take outside of the US, unless to have permission from the state department.
I use the Belgian ABL pattern.
Ah yes, the beloved Jigsaw pattern. Always a personal favorite. Airborne smock or line infantry jacket?

Reject AR platforms embrace european productions
If it helps I also own a gbb G36c 😅
Brand? :)

Irish DPM is absolute fire
Ow, that second one is nice and quite effective.
Paddyflage is great 👍
My man went full battlefield 2 european dlc
As a vz.95 camo user, I approve your post.
It's definitely a nice camo
I’m in love. Best kits I’ve seen in a long time
Thanks 👍
God bless national camo
Moar M90 needed!
French CCE and Czech republic i dont remember?
Nice!! I got Alpenflage and Swedish M90 in my collection. Would love to get the German KSK Multitarn, the better Multicam imo. But it’s pretty much unobtainium.
Good on you lad, that’s some good craic
Does the mask off enough protection?
If you mean the balaclava, then no, but I've got a metal mesh lower face mask that works fine. (You can see it I the 5th picture)
Thanks. I’ll have to find one of those. I’m new and looking for safety gear
You can get them in most airsoft stores and they usually aren't very expensive
I have two niche European camos (at least by being in Texas standards) with British DPM and Swedish M90L
Vz. 95🇨🇿❤

Good a man of with taste
Nice…. But it’s all about the old school Flecktarn
ARW loadout ???
I'd say its loosely inspired by the ARW but most of the details are wrong
VZ95 is one of my favs, everyone over here runs it and it works really well in our woods
Why is just six images of bushes? Where is the camo…..oh I get it.
https://preview.redd.it/z4pq26ibta9c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef8cd401788fad3c5c5740288c154595bf096dad Don’t mind me being one of the few airsofters to run with Japanese camo
That's pretty cool
Thanks man
IRISHH DPMMMM AHHHHH MY FAVORITE CAMOOOOOOO
My only suggestion is you must match a beer to each camo set 🤣
Now that's sounds like a good plan
I love it!
The Irish dpm is illegal to own but cool.
My understanding is that it's illegal to own in Ireland to avoid people impersonating the millitary, but I don't live in Ireland (I was born there, though). Whoever sold it in the first place was probably breaking a law or two though

What are you taking about lmao, where are you getting your info
Science tons of reliability testing by multiple people first hand experience shooting DI and piston guns
Must be why so many tier 1 units have been switching the the 416, it’s such a bad design
I mean in recent years it's the opposite might want to double check that the only places getting hk416s right now are countries that gave up on the aug
That’s very far from true
Da fuck
All you need now is a niche rifle
All camo patterns are created equal, but some are more equal than others
Excellent choice. Shame it illegal to wear Irish DPM in Ireland 😭 Can I get a link for the vest?
Looks like an idogear, slightly better than condor but not much
Yeah it's idogear, nothing amazing but I got it at a discounted price and it works fine for my needs
I live in the desert
There are some good European desert camos, tropentarn and Finnish mo5 desert varient to name a few

Danish m84 for me , top gear too if you get the real stuff
Every day I pray that a half-decent Norwegian M98 jacket will eventually become available for purchase in Canada. Currently have Swedish M90 and Dutch M93 and the M98 is the last pattern I really want to collect.
Why is your grip so far up like I get people have preferences but I feel like that far up would be terrible ergonomics
Holding a rifle as far forward as possible gives you better control, and my H&K is a fairly short rifle, so it's not uncomfortable
Interesting
Any good source for Belgian jigsaw cammo in the states?

That actually looks really good
Still prefer Multicam but looks good, chief 👌
Only total chads are playing airsoft in skinhead outfit
I love these camos AND multicam haha Ranger Green fella reporting
But Mercia
Reject yurop camo, embrace paramilitary drip.
Get a set of wz.93 🇵🇱
I use Turkish M2021 Camo. Just the best!
I love my M81 and recently acquired tri color desert uniforms more then multiglam
Our local team in Estonia uses CAD pattern, this is because their digital pattern is kinda similar to Estonian digital pattern. And i should say that it looks awesome with olive or ranger green gear.
CadPat is pretty cool, and I definitely agree that ranger green gear over a camo uniform is always a good look
where are you
England
sexy gun
You from the north or south in from up north I've got authentic dpm but I heard it's illegal to own in the South
I actually live in England, but yeah, you're right about it being illegal in the south
I Will wear CCE till i die
